    I use T4 Ageless Core Epiphany, T3 Reactive Total Radial/Pyronic Total Radial/Warworks Total Core/Musculature Total Radial. I haven't updated this in Mids yet, so disregard what it shows currently.
  2. With my current IO layout, Ageless T4, and Reactive T3, I have a 3 attack rotation: Channelgun/Longfang/Arm Lash.

    Channelgun max: 195/1.33 sec cast
    Longfang max: 291/2 sec cast
    Arm Lash max: 345(rounded down)/1.67 cast

    Total damage for chain max: 831
    Total cast time: 5 sec
    Total dead time due to recharge: 0.04 sec

    831/5.04 (Total time not counting lag and human reaction speed)

    = 164.88 DPS (rounded to 2 decimal points)

    Now, factor in that I do not have an Achilles proc in my current line up because I tend to lean more heavily on AoE. With the proc it would be:

    831*1.2/5.04

    = 197.86 (rounded to 2 decimal points)

    Additionally, I only have 3 Thunderstrike io's in both channelgun and longfang. If for some reason you wanted to go all out and use 5 Apocs in one and say 5 Devastations in the other, it would be:

    Channelgun max: 213/1.33 sec cast
    Longfang max: 364/2 sec cast
    Arm Lash max: 345(rounded down)/1.67 cast

    Total damage for chain max: 922
    Total cast time: 5 sec
    Total dead time due to recharge: 0.04 sec

    = 182.94 (rounded to 2 decimal points)

    with an Achilles proc:

    = 219.52 (rounded to 2 decimal points)

    If you really want all 3 to be ranged ST, then it would look like this:

    Gloom max: 363/1.1 cast

    Total damage for chain max: 940
    Total cast time: 4.43 sec
    Total dead time due to recharge: 1.44 sec

    940/5.87 (Total time not counting lag and human reaction speed)

    = 160.14 (rounded to 2 decimal points)

    with an Achilles proc:

    940*1.2/5.87

    = 192.16 (rounded to 2 decimal points)

    You can change a lot of your other io's to increase dmg%, recharge speed etc, but you are going to gimp your build elsewhere. As you can see it really depends on what you want to change in other parts of your build and what you are slotting. I would say that an average build is going to run somewhere between 160 and 180 DPS.
  3. Yeah, use cardiac until you get access to ageless t4. As was said, toggles don't kill us even before cardiac, its just we have so many fast refreshing attacks.
  4. It looks ok, and is somewhat similar to what I ended up with after finding how fast pets died in incarnate trials. Non-controllable pets just get eaten so fast

    Anyway, here is my current build if you want to cannibalize it. For singles I use Channelgun/Longfang/Arm Lash. For AoE I use Venom Grenade/Arctic Breath/Bile Spray/Suppression/Frag Grenade. That way Bile gets a huge -res debuff from Venom/Arctic.

    For Alpha, Cardiac, or Musculature, Nerve is just extra Defense you don't need past the cap.

    I suggest Ageless, Reactive, Pyro, and Warworks. That is what I am running currently, seems quite good.

    Additionally, if you don't have cardiac, just turn off tough. You will still have about 30ish resist to s/l but will save a ton in end consump. If you are fighting heavy s/l mobs and want to have it on for safety, you can just toggle it on as needed.

    It's usually in the new incarnate stuff that they die in seconds. I changed my build completely now due to the incarnates.

    You didn't need purples in your build. With some minor changes and losing the useless omega maneuver, you now are capped to positional defense and have a faster recharge than if you had the purples.

  7. I went over your build and found quite a bit I could move about. Things to remember in a pet based build, you really don't used channelgun and longfang that much. So you can stack those for good io's. You also way over slotted def for just the 5% increase so I moved those around and used the extra spaces to cap your def and give you some extra rechg with much fewer slots.

    You had one slot in Omega Maneuever, so I assume it was just a "this is cool" power. I therefore did not slot it for damage with extra slots, but used it as an io mule for bonuses and a 7.5% rechg increase.

    The last thing I changed was the health io, miracle is running more than LOTG right now, about 190mil per. Numina's is much cheaper (60-80m) and still gives close to the same boost.

    In any case, this build will let you hover at range or get in close and pull some aggro from your pets. I hope it helps you.

  8. The animation is long and the damage is ok, but its mainly a dot, you can really do either. Given your concept however, you don't need the io bonuses, so I guess damage and the 6.25 from posi.
  9. I want something like transformers, a robot that can transform into a vehicle for travel powers. Additionally if you could form a robot sg, members could join their robots into a mega robot.

  10. One other thing, you really do not want to go mace mastery on a crab. Venom Grenade followed by Bile Spray is a huge damage increase vs anything you may get from mace. Leviathan is really your best bet.

    As an aside, I really became upset with non-controllable pets in incarnate content and made major changes to my build because of that. I will post my current build, should you change your mind about pets.

  13. I posted the build I am using the other day. If you get the LoTG recharge io's through merits (reg or hero/vill tip mishes), it should be cheap, I replaced the one purple set with a cheap IO set since you want to cut costs.

  15. I can sympathize with the OP, but in the end, the person who spent the time forming the league should have the final call on who is in it. If the OP does not wish to go to one of the zones where preformed leagues are being made or spend the time making his or her own league but simply relies on the LFG system, then they are at the mercy of the system. Systems tend to be short on mercy.

    I'll be perfectly honest, I have kicked pugs that showed up on specific runs. I do not wish to spend half the run on a MoBAF explaining to a pug what not to do to prevent ruining the run for the 15 other people who trusted me to help them get that achievement. As long as there is a kick button, I will continue to utilize it to make my runs successful.

    The simplest way to fix this would be to make the LFG option a different queue that is truly random and would fill the league to capacity. Then you could allow the preformed leagues to simply launch the trial they wish to run without going through a LFG style system.

    Now, for a current example. Today I put together a LAM and it was short a few. We went anyway and we picked up 4 people. I placed them on team 2 and went about our business. I sent team 2 to the labs to take out containment chambers. We cleared the warehouse and had to go help team 2; fine, so we helped. Then as we were about to go out, I said to check temp powers, and to ask if you did not know how. We should have had 10 acids. Only the people I picked originally used their acids. I asked again as reinforcements built up. No response. We took out the spawned acid shipment 3 times, 2 of which didn't get used. Finally in desperation, I had people forget the last couple of doors and we started on the AV. During the AV fight, one of the people who was a pug said, "Oh, I have two acids, I didn't think I could get them in the hospital".

    Now this person was advised multiple times to check temps, and also advised that we could explain how if they did not know. Because of him and whoever else did not use their acid among the four pugs, we failed the trial.

    Hey, life goes on, it's just a game. But the 11 people who joined the league with the understanding that it would be successful and that I knew what I was doing, had their time wasted and may not wish to league with me in the future because I could have kicked the pugs and prevented the screwup. I know in the future, I certainly will be more likely to kick pugs on LAM at least. Probably not on BAF because its darn near impossible to fail it, even if people are new to the trial.
  16. I am putting together an Arch/TA alt. I will be getting most of the more expensive IO's through hero/vill merits and I do NOT plan on getting a pvp def +3. With this in mind, I tried to work the build to get very high recharge and get S/L/E/R to cap or within 1 purple of being capped. Range and Energy are critical to me, simply because almost every alt I run BAF or LAM with got shredded if I was low on range def or not capped on energy. After tweaking their builds to encompass boosts to E/R I noticed a lot less damage.

    This is my first corruptor, so I am unsure if I missed anything that will gimp my damage or def down the road. Please comment or provide suggestions.

  18. Crab Nebula

    New Trials

    Have to say that overall I am liking the new level of difficulty. I am used to playing games where it takes weeks or months to fully gear out a character and when I first started playing CoH again after a 5 year absence or so, I was shocked by how easy it was. After getting my Crab to 50, which took all of 3 weeks playing moderately, I was shocked when I was able to get to t3 alpha in roughly 2-3 days. This is a laughable amount of time to max the endgame content on an mmo.

    I then decided to level up a farm character since that seems to be the new thing to do. This took 2 days. Between carrying alts and salvage/recipes I have well over a billion inf, and this took about a week.

    I was contemplating leaving the game again, simply because it had so little challenge. Then with i20, my very well io'ed main got owned hard on the Lam/Baf trials. I was glad for the challenge so I spent the next few days hitting them hard. Currently I have tier 3 in everything except my warworks (tier 2, waiting for rare) and ageless (tier 1). The trials seem much better now with the level shift and I am enjoying the risk vs reward ratio a lot better than chain running ITF for shards.

    I do say that for EXTREME casual players, they need to have some other way to get threads at a reduced rate, but realistically it's not that hard to get the new components at a fair rate, even if you are unsuccessful at defeating the tf.

    Anyway, I am loving i20 so far.

    Addendum: I am not a kiddie, I have a full time job and a spouse. So please don't throw out barbs about how anyone with a 'life' cannot achieve similar results.
