This reminded me of all the times, while working for Spring PCS collections, I got to tell people that just because you have a Sprint phone, it does not guarantee that you will always have service. I know it was a jerkish thing to tell people, but it was right there in the service contract. Same situation.

I miss the days when you didn't have to change phones when you changed service. But then again, cell phones are so totally cheap and ubiquitous that it's almost a non-issue.

I'm amazed that name wasn't taken! Reminds me of how I recently made an elec/elec blaster on Virtue, attempting to remake one I'd created way back four years ago. Back then I named her Lady Faraday and I was pretty sure that name would have been taken by now. Much to my surprise it wasn't. And so now I have it again! Hahaha.

What happened last year (as announced here) was giving all existing and former players who only had one side (CoH for example, but not CoV) was the other side. However, this didn't apply to any boxes sitting on store shelves. Now, if you find a CoH box and buy it, you get the other side. No, you don't get the Good vs. Evil Item Pack but you can do all the stuff with the other side.

Pretty good time to pick up a retail box, or get your friend who's been thinking of playing with you to pick up a retail box - and get the other side for free!

The CoV pre-order got me the Wolfspider helm (the normal Arachnos soldier one, forget which one it is called exactly). I've used it on my MM on one of her costumes which was an "Arachnos Agent" type of getup. Now in about six months I'll be able to do the same kinda thing with my Mind Control Dominator, with the appropriate helm. Sweet!

Didn't take long for people to start complaining, lol!

I think they're brilliant. And unlike what some other people said, no this wouldn't keep me from pre-ordering other expansions if you all ever did that again!

I'm sure at some point you're going to offer the VIP/Destined One badge and Prestige Power Slide power as a vet reward (which I think would be spiffy, even though I already have those!), and then the same old gang of complainers is going to, well... complain!

Some people aren't happy unless they got something to complain about, I guess!
