Escort and kidnap missions should be fail-able by allowing the foes inside the mission to be able to defeat the victim. At the least, probably after they have defeated you.
If you fail enough such missions, your character should get a reputation for getting people killed in escort missions, and so your contacts will think better than to give you any more.

I actually still want a full robot main, no human attempt look at all. I would settle for getting the thighs on any robot to not have the shape of every muscle group on a human. Like the clockwork arms, or skeletal mechanical. Seriously, it cannot be that hard.

Actually, we need a Super Dog Pet! It's like the normal dog, except it has super speed, a "super bark" ranged sonic attack, and has laser beam eyes.

That being said...they definitely need to add a bite attack. Just one attack animation...very minor damage...only attacks the handlers target. Just something like that to actually make the dog fit in...somewhat.
Oh hmm, I guess they could add an automatic [vengeance] that triggers upon the poor doggie's death. You know, because... "You just killed my dog. BIG mistake!" -
Wow, every new addition and change, always with the complaints. Always! The way some people go on, I'm thinking maybe the devs should open up a new server and call it "Echo of Issue 1"...

I get lots of inf that drops from defeated foes, and so I use that to get even more inf. -

I expect said content to be heavily scripted and have unique maps, which will be used as an excuse for why there is so little of it. I expect many of the scripted encounters to be poorly tested and prone to bugs.

Suggestions to use temp powers or inspirations will be met with "but I shouldn't have to, the game is balanced around SOs." I expect the solo Incarnate path to be balanced around IOs, but no dev to actually say so.
I expect it to be exclusively heroic in tone. Someone will complain. Someone else will imply that players who play villains are villains in real life
I expect cut scenes.
I expect it to be significantly slower than trial progression, even for a strong soloist.
In each thread that discusses the announced content, I expect a statement along the lines of "if you don't like to team why are you playing an MMO" on the first page.
I have to agree with you, though. I'm willing to bet this is exactly how it will turn out. -

9999 Mission Architect Tickets = 1 Reward Merit
60 Reward Merits + 10,000,000 Inf = 1 Astral Merit
120 Reward Merits + 100,000,000 Inf = 1 Empyrean Merit
1 Incarnate Thread = 25 Reward Merits
1 Incarnate Shard = 20 Reward Merits
Why five more merits for a thread? 'Cause that makes it seem more important, I guess! -
Is this the reason why any vet base items left that you claimed when the old vet system was still in place, but have not yet placed, are now unplaceable?
I always get an error when I try, and it fails. -
If CoH ever switches over from using texture maps to ray tracing, I hope at some point they put the Utah teapot somewhere in the game.

I know when I tried to take care of my friend's cats while he was away, one of them decided to split for a while to who-knows-where, and didn't return until he did. She didn't like that there was some human she barely knew trying to figure out how to go about feeding cats. Hint: it's not exactly like how you feed a dog, which was my only experience at the time!

It would be cool to have a new "danger" room type, in which defensive items could be placed that always con as a foe and which attack.

Finally, finally, the GT 440 was delivered to me! I installed it, and made a clean re-install (as well as an upgrade) of the video drivers. So far, none of the problems I had before have even come up.
And it looks like I can play the game! Yeah, I can't dial up all the settings to 11 without it turning into a slideshow, but who cares? I can actually play, which is better than not being able to play.
Still, after all these problems, I find myself unable to trust this system yet. So I'll have to run it through its paces for a while, and see if it doesn't break somehow. But as of right now, I'm convinced of the MSI motherboard's problems with its x16 slots, and that it took a perfectly good GT 240 down with it. Sigh.
