If I'm surrounded by mobs and not really picky about which mob I want to attack, I just hit the next melee power I want to attack with and it targets the closest mob, then I click the attack again to attack.
So usually before agroing the group I'll pick out the boss and work on him after that it's the closest one to me, unless someone is in trouble and I'll go after the mobs on them.
Honestly after years of melee I've gotten used to targeting a number of ways. -
I don't really care for elec control sound fx, but then it's not my #1 priority. I think it should be a bit sharper sounding myself.

For some unknown reason to me, my game has defaulted to window mode? How can I get it back to full screen? Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

I definitely agree that propel should be a cone attack!

My schedule is way to hectic to commit, but I'll keep it in mind.

Sometimes when I get a naming block I just google 80's song titles

I like grav/kin since there's more than a couple of grav powers I'm not too keen on and kin is full of great powers
It works for me!

Welcome to CoX universe
I'll try to give you the short version imho.
1. It's really very had to actually end up with a gimp character. There are build threads and suggestions for almost any character you can conceive on the AT forums. There are definitely easier ways or powers to chose first while leveling, but it all works itself out in the wash so to speak. If you have a concept you'd like to explore search or post on the appropriate AT forum and somone will gladly offer advice.
2. That definitely helps but it's nothing you can't learn as you go.
3. Both AT's are very helpful on a team.
4. Both are solo friendly. Controllers may have a harder/slower time of it until the get their pets (except mind which does not get a pet, but a mass confusion power that doesn't draw agro). Tanks solo pretty easy at mid levels.
5. Crafting is in the form of invention origens and there is a consignment system in game to sell components or crafted enhancements.
6. When you log into the game you see the list of servers. The servers towards the bottom are the more populated ones. The second and subsequnt times you log in the first server listed is the last you visited followed by online population low to high. Generally Freedom and Virtue have the highest average population.
7. Welcome to the gameYou will find most people friendly towards newcomers

There are definitely vet rewards that are better than others. I'm sure those will be "picked" first. After those where's the incentive? That doesn't sound like a compromise at all. Besides, whats the point of compromising when the system is working as intended?

Quote:I see what you are saying, but not sure I agree. What would you call it if not a nod of thanks? The primary difference I see here is that while other Veteran Rewards are generally available through alternate means (and here I mean respecs, costume changes, temporary powers, and other little minor bonuses (like this one)), the costume pieces (and base items) cannot be acquired in any way besides Veteran Rewards.
I can earn costume changes by paying a bit of influence; I can buy a respec, or do a respec trial. If I want a temporary power, I can find the story arc that grants it and run it (and, thanks to Ouroboros, re-run it as necessary). If I want a little more prestige, I can play a little longer.
There is no way whatsoever for me to acquire Angel Wings save by waiting 15 months for them. That's where these bonuses fail. They aren't "little bonuses". They are exclusive items. There just isn't enough justification in my mind to give veterans exclusive items.
Their continued patronage is worth a little nod of thanks, I'll agree, but having things other cannot simply because they are veterans is not, in my opinion, a nod of thanks. -
Quote:Maybe not but many retailers do offer incentives to buy more:Because they don't pay me to play the game. I pay them.
This isn't work. This is play. This is fun.
Does DisneyLand have special rides that only long-time repeat customers can ride?
Does K-Mart have special goods only purchasable after you've shopped there ten times before?
Does McDonald's have special menu items only available after you've bought twenty Big Macs?
Games aren't jobs. Any analogies that use jobs as their basis are already off on the wrong foot.
Best Buy has Reward Zone
Discovery has a cash back program
MC, Visa and other Credit cards offer frequent flyer miles to redeem for airfares
etc.
Personally I enjoy the vet rewards and think it's a good idea, and also working very well -
I remember once having 3 spine/darks on the same team all with OG. lol that was fun

Is there a way for me to start my own sg/vg and then send out sg/vg invites to my own alts with out getting a second account? I wouldn't mind having a personal secret base so to speak. As it is I'm not too involved with sg's/vg's due to my play time constraints and the number of alts I play

If I absolutely had to choose: empty clips.
