Yep another vote for plant thorns. Mine is lvl 42 and I'm having an absolute blast with her.
Would plants/thorns also be decent in PvP?

For my extended opinion, check the powers guide (freshly updated!) in my sig.
If you like AoE, you could also try Fire/Thorny.
Plant/ would be the way to go. Hang in there until you get carrion creepers, it's worth the wait.
Hey all..Ive tried a couple dominators back in the day and never had luck (blah blah same ol' story :P)
Im basically looking to try one and put some effort into it. I LOVE AoE and cant get enough of it...I would like a dom that is great in PvE and at least decent in PvP..
What are some great pairs for that?
I figured /thorn would be a good choice...Looking at mids, it seems to be strong and AoE-tastic. It's Lethal/Toxin but I can get over that :P
What would pair well with Thorns?
Also, there is a moderate chance that i will wait 3 weeks and make an elec dom for my GR toon...
