  5. Sorry, that+recharge was on, recharge is far less.
  6. Manuevers and grant cover are for the team, I usually team with a dark/elec defender, my mids is showing a 220% global recharge with hasten on, thats enough for permahasten. This is a costly build and will take awhile to get to, but the numbers look great.
  7. I decided to go with the advice given and push for soft capped defs, recharge and end recovery. I started with one of the builds presented and did a few changes. Am I on the right track?

  12. What I'm looking for is a mid cost build that will soft cap my defs and help solve some of my end issues. Is the soft cap still 45? I would love to eventually get to this build, but am limited in inf at the moment. I have just got into the incarnate stuff with my scrapper and am kinda lost. Learning through trial and error, and that costs inf. I never should have let Dragon Age suck me in again, lost a few months play time in coh.

    Enough recharge for a decient attack chain would also be nice.

  16. I know there are many builds out there, but I have been off for a few months and want to work on my tank. I have a somewhat cheap build, with my current generic IO build on alternate. My biggest problem is end, and am still learning about this new Incarnate stuff.

    Is this an ok, but not uber build, and what suggestions on Incarnate powers. Shes kinda a Cap clone, so I was trying not to be to flashy.

  17. Loved your guide, even though I am mostly a scrapper at heart. I duo with my wife alot, her def and my scrap, when we do team I end up tanking with said scrapper. This guid has helped with that. But there is a big rule that I believe more people should listen to, when the tank says run, RUN!!!!! Pulling back and regrouping can save a team if you see someone pulling more then your team can handle. We had an instance early in our career that comes to mind. The tank died, the troller pulled to much, and there ended up only 3 left standing. I held the agro, while the other 2 pulled back, then my wife tped me away from the group, she again retreated as I held agro, repeat and rinse. We made it to the door as everyone was coming back from the hospital. The tank slowed down a bit, and we finished the mission. We still get comments about that from the tank involved, he loved the tactic.

    Team of 2

    Energy blast was more for theme, and was originally designed as solo builds.knock back is wonderful on solo builds, and this team doesn't want them close either, so we kept it. As for the sloting on the team individual shields, it was a secondary thought, solo was main thought, and as a duo the area shields over soft cap m/r/a and hard cap s/l resist. We just sit back snug in our bubbles of doom and blast away, with force bubble up all the time no one gets close.

    My wife and I decided to make a pair of defenders to take on anything and solo when needed(sometimes we play at different times. We came up with a FF/Energy and a Sonic/Energy. Together we seem unstoppable, and we can make a team even more so.I'm going to post both end builds(we are not quite there yet). Let me know what you think.

    New to Tanking

    Lol, its usually the scrapper, wait, its usually me. But sometimes you just get in bad spots. Taunt helps, but my scrapper pulls agro from everybody. I've ended up taking taunt with my scrapper, willpower doesn't hold agro well.
