You know, for the first time ever in playing this game I'm actually taking the time to acquire and complete each mayhem mission. The extra temporary powers have really added to my game for that particular toon. In the past I've often missed a few, or not even bothered. Going from 1 to 32 thus far has been the most rewarding experience to date for me. The extra contact it opens up for me has been a boon in gaining reward merits and accomplishment badges.
But I agree, it would be nice for a solo option to get a prior mayhem mission just in case you miss one. Especially when it goes towards an accolade power and badges. -
My evening consisted of lag, more lag, rubberbanding, some more lag, and game crash. Followed by a relog, trying to find the invasion again, lag, more lag, and another crash. Not a kill, not a salavge, recipe, or enhancement drop. Nothing. I wasn't feeling well last night and I'm still not today, but I felt the best thing to do was quit before I felt the compulsion to ragequit and post something nasty on the boards. Lucky thing is that I wasn't dissapointed and last night went pretty much as I expected.
I am not having part anymore of these zone events that make the game unplayable. -
No disrespect, but, IMO getting those badges was a hell of a lot more fun and challenging to earn WITH player inteference. What was probably the best evening I have ever had playing this game was beating the Freedom Phalanx in Recluse's Victory. Defeating AV's while simulataneously reclaiming pillboxes from Hero player characters.... damn, it was epic.
In my opinion you have to EARN those badges. If it takes hours, if it means accepting to deal with player griefers, if it means recruiting a full two teams to compensate becasue you do not have any true PvP toons. Whatever it takes.
Hmm... PM me when you doing this, I haven't been playing lately. This would be something I'd be interested in. -

Build: Claws/Super Reflexes/Body Mastery Scrapper
Price: High
Build Goals: Soft-capped positional defenses, double stacking Follow Up attack chain with some AoE for good measure. DPS.
Build Weaknesses: No resistances other than Tough. Movement may be slightly limited by using only Ninja Run...but who cares, you look dam good doing it.
Incarnate: Four T4's, one T3.

They just pulled back the fix that fixed the old lag and created new lag worse than old lag, which removes the new lag that's worse than old lag and gives us back the old lag, which, while still being lag, is not as bad as new lag.

Touched on everything I think we've wanted to hear. Sounds good. I understand Praetoria is the flavor of the month right now, but I feel like there's so many other factions that haven't been tapped in a while. I kind of sick of all the technology origin stuff, Rikti, Malta, Praetorians, Sky Raiders, etc. Haven't seen much of the Devouring Earth, CoT, Shivans, or Rularuu lately.

I still do not get why people love Howling Twilight. Yes it rezs, and stuns. Good when your teaming, but I feel the power is situational at best. It consumes an absurd chunk of endurance to use, recharges slowly, so it isn't somthing I would regularly use. I don't consider it essential to take.
Of all the powers in this game, this frustrates me the most. My Necro/Dark MM is my first toon I ever built and I stil, to this day have to argue about this power whenever I play my Necro/Dark MM because I don't use it. >< -
But there was maintenance today right (the 13th)? I didn't see any patch notes for today.

I've seen my Interface ability trigger below lvl 20. I doubt that's WAI.

Can anyone report if stability issues have been resolved? Lessened?
Oh, and I've noticed that the Interface Slot works when exemplared down below lvl 50. -
I've been experiencing both. I lose connection to the mapserver often while the league is trying to form, or as the trial begins in the trial zone. Or occasionally the game crashes from the sound looping in the middle of a trial and I get an error message.

4/10 Virtue Server.
It's been strange today. I've joined one league and oddly, I was not on a team when I clearly was on a team of 8 in the league UI menu. Logged back in, ended up falling on black screen, and ended up somewhere in the Rikti War Zone, but not where I mapserved. I've crashed in a B.A.F trial and end up re-logging, rejoining the event, only to end up in a office mission map, or in an entirely different event like a 20 member league in a Lambda trial, which should be impossible, since the max is 16.
I've crash a lot when the trial/league is formed in a Rikti War Zone. But I've also crashed/mapserved when it was formed in Studio 55, Pocket D, and Cimerora. -
I have a question regarding the Lore pets. Do the all the pets use the same attacks and other powers a critter of the same type would use? or are their power selections more limited?

It does present a challenge for my Claws/SR scrapper. I just remember to pack medium and large oranges and lots of greens, use my Judgement power when its availible, and I pop Elude or my accolade powers when necessary. I haven't unlocked my Destiny power yet, but I'm sure it will function much like the same. This is supposed to be more difficult than the normal content, but it doesn't feel as overwhelming now with incarnate powers.

Happy to say the other Lambda trial went very successful as Maxi and I split the duties as leaders. Frankly we owned in both trials, I could actually see the difference from the first attempts where no one had anything other than their alpha. With people cycling Judgment attacks it was a breeze. Thanks again, Voodoo.

B.A.F: Total Success 1/5, getting to the Nightstar & Siege fight before reinforcements wiped us out 3/5.
Lambda: Total Sucess 1/3.
It's the first night, people are new to this and are still unlocking new incarnate slots, it'll come easier with practice. -
I think it might also be worth nothing that when your dealing with the escapees, it's not always a good idea to defeat the commandoes yourself. What mean is, deal them damage of course, but don't follow one and hunt it down to the point of leaving your position, because you might miss the next mob. Generally there will be someone else to help clean up the commandoes. Think Zone defense as opposed to Man-to-Man, to use a sports analogy. The runs I was in where the group was successful for this part of the trial, I was finishing off commandoes coming towards me that were at half to 1/3 their HP.

I understand, I've been there. I've misunderstood this game. I learned to understand, and found the joy of understanding. Now I understand that you don't understand. You're misunderstanding is understood, and understanding is often hard. You need to understand that your misunderstanding, will be misunderstood by those that do not understand the misunderstood. The understanding will never understand your misunderstanding unless you become understanding. Then you will cease to be the misunderstood and become a part of the understood. Understand the ways of the understanding and you understand happiness.
