What the heck, I'll do my character. I'm bored at work, too. >_>

I had severe crashing issues with 11.6 last month--BEFORE the release of Issue 20.5. I started a thread about it then, then rolled back to 11.5 and haven't had any problems since.
-
The ZombCare (and many other new billboards) went live with the recent Issue 20.5 release.
As for Jack in Irons actually sitting on his throne, I'm not sure... I've never seen that myself, but judging from the sit emote he's using, I'd say he's been doing it (or at least intended to do it--they may have recently fixed a bug that was keeping him from doing so) since the Croatoa release in Issue 5. -
Awesome. Look forward to seeing this.

The pictures load now?
*clicks link... waits for it to load* ...
*angel chorus*
That... that is the best thing ever, in the history of everything. I think I saw eternity in that image. -
I'll see your shocked cat and raise you MANIACAL DOG!

From what I've seen in similar inquiries, I think you need to know the specific item numbers for the NA version of the boosters. You may need to manually enter the corrected ID in the URL at the top of your screen.
CYBORG BOOSTER: ID# 77
MAGIC BOOSTER: ID# 89
SUPER SCIENCE BOOSTER: ID# 139
MARTIAL ARTS BOOSTER: ID# 149
MUTANT BOOSTER: ID# 197
GOOD VS EVIL PACK: ID# 15
WEDDING PACK: ID# 65
MAC PACK: ID# 85
GOING ROGUE COMPLETE COLLECTION PACK: ID# 213
PARTY PACK: ID# 223
ORIGINS PACK: ID# 293
ANIMAL PACK: ID# 347
STEAMPUNK PACK: ID# 413
Adding 2 to any of those numbers seems to show the EU version.
(I know, for instance, that if I enter ID# 415, it shows the EU version of the Steampunk Pack... but I'm not 100% sure I could pay for that from my IP address.) -
Maaaan, those Rx10 links won't open for me. I was really looking forward to seeing what he thinks is a "good build," too.

Quote:Heal decay shouldn't be removed either, from my perspective. Both are good things. But I definitely agree that they're both too crippling with their current values, and should be toned down quite a bit.I really don't see why travel suppression should be eliminated in PVP. Tweaking or updating its mechanics, maybe? But not a complete removal.
Travel suppression really should completely stop affecting the caster of melee attacks, and should be lessened for the recipient of ranged attacks. (The source of a ranged attack or the target of a melee attack should continue to be suppressed as current.) -
Quote:Free accounts don't get XP from AE missions, per last week's Freedom Friday Q&A on Facebook.I can see the appeal -- particularly if there is going to be a VIP-only Server, as SuperGroups may choose to flee en masse to it in order to avoid the legions of Free-to-Play AE Babies that will doubtless descend across the length and breadth of CoX.
It won't. You can't forcibly move someone else's character to a different server. -
Quote:http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showt...19#post3705319Someone told me today they heard this announced somewhere, but I haven't been able to find the link for it.
Quote:Supergroup Transfers (Including bases)
This is something we anticipated and are actively working on, but it likely won’t be ready for City of Heroes Freedom’s launch. We are committing to bringing you this service in the future and it won’t be just to the VIP server, it will be between any server. It will likely require the Supergroup’s Super Leader to actually execute the transfer. -
I'd like to see Super Reflexes have Quickness replaced with Energize, and have the +Recharge taunt aura that Energy Aura is getting applied to Evasion.
But that's just me. >_> -

Avatea just posted in the French forums that this round of Proliferation will be in Issue 21.
http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showt...85#post3736585
It's been a while since high school French, but between what I understand and what Babelfish says, it basically says, "The new round of proliferation of specializations will be available with Issue 21, but (something something) not announced yet." I think that bit I don't quite understand was implying that the Proliferation 3.0 announcement wasn't quite ready when the Issue 21 feature list was published. -
It's not an every time occurance, though. I got booted loading into a trial this weekend and was able to rejoin with no problems.
(I'm not trying to undermine the issue--I'm just saying it's not an "all-or-nothing" deal.) -
The only question I really have that I don't expect to be answered is: will Energy Melee be ported to Scrappers in Powerset Proliferation 4.0, and will it be rebalanced for the better at that time, since it lost its "single-target damage king" throne during the last rebalancing (to a set that also has far superior AoE). [Which reminds me, what is the single-target damage king right now? Is it still Claws?]
But, I'll be there myself, and I think that's kind of a waste of a question... especially since everybody will be clamoring to ask "When is PVP getting fixed?" and "When can I customize my Mastermind pets?" and other generic questions that everyone already knows will get answered with "We can't comment on this at this time/That's not in the current production schedule" like they do at EVERY con. -
Quote:I only realized that myself a couple months ago... and I didn't even figure it out myself, I read it on the CoH Titan wiki and was like, "D'oh!"I just realized that Sparcetriel, Ractespriel and Trepsarciel are all anagrams for Respec Trial.
(I did, right from the start, know that they were anagrams of each others' names, though.)
*pat pat* Don't feel bad, we've all been there at some point or another. -
Oh, and this discussion (including my posts) has failed to mention that Energy Drain will now give a scaling +Def buff per target hit, the way it currenty has a scaling 3% per target Heal. That will further negate the need to heal every 60 seconds as well.
It's definitely a change to the feel of the powerset, but the changes they're making to Energy Drain and Conserve Power/Energize feel like lateral ones at this point. As I mentioned earlier, we'll need to wait and see how it plays for ourselves before we can declare it a nerf or not. -
Quote:Hey, I'm pretty fond of Energy Aura as it exists now. If it were positional defense instead of typed, I'd say it's the set Super Reflexes should have been. The worst part about it is that we will no longer have to suffer through the terrible, pathetic less-than-an-excuse for a powerset that Energy Aura is because of all the sweet, long-desired and super cool improvements they're making to it.
Just when I thought there was ONE last set I could still hate on, the devs had to come along and ruin it.
Of course, I'm certainly not complaining about the improvements they're making... -
