It's stored as text file locally. So there's a chance that it went to your recycle bin. Idk how the game chooses to delete them, so it may not have gone there.
I forget what the extension for those files is, but iirc, the name will be the name of the arc, i think
Toss a /petition out and see what can be done... but since the files are saved to your local hard drive, I am fairly certain you are screwed. 
Unless it went to your Recycle Bin.
Was it published by any chance?
If you've been working on it for hours and saving it as you go you should have 2 versions of it still on your comp: the local file you saved it as and the autosave file. Load up the AE interface and navigate to your local stories. Hopefully the autosave version will at least be there.

Was it a /petition or a /bug? Petition is the one you want. Also check to make sure that your e-mail address listed in your Account Page is accurate. You should have at LEAST gotten some sort of automated response.
If you still can't locate it... then send a new /petition. Also, if it was published, do a search there, and go to Edit. At least then you should be able to re-save it and not have lost EVERYTHING, just whatever you did since it was last published.

I accidentally deleted my arc that I spent countless hours on just to get it right. I was trying to fix something in it and thought I was making it inaccessible to others. I'm new to the arc but I really liked this one and don't want to loose it. Am I going to have to start over? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
