After having the servers down for so long and so often now I know that NCSoft doesn't care about the loyal players. They have their money, why should they care. After asking if we were going to be reimbursed or compensated for all this downtime and being told "good luck" makes me wonder why I've wasted so much time on this game. The loyal players are being used as guinea pigs now before the people that don't have to pay come over. They will be getting the game free which means they won't have to spend a dime after the loyal players have spent thousands of dollars on the game. That's not a made up amount. The games were $40 so there was the initial game, evil vs bad, and now going rogue. $40 times 3 comes out to $120. Then the game time is $14.99 per month. That's $179.88 which I agree is not that much but if you add it up with 7 years then it comes out to $1,259.16. Add all that up and you get a pretty good amount of money spent on this game and that's not including all the items not counted. It's so tempting to say heck with it and join the free players. But I really don't care anymore. It gives me plenty of opportunity to find a different game especially since all the downtimes are during my days off and when I can play.
I understand why they are having the downtime. I hope they get things up and running smoothly. This might actually fix the laggy zones. So take your time with the downtime. If you need heck take 12 days, that'll just give me more time to find another game. -
Ok. Thanks so much for all the tips. I'm going to try all these and see where I get. Keep your fingers crossed.
Quote:Was it a /petition or a /bug? Petition is the one you want. Also check to make sure that your e-mail address listed in your Account Page is accurate. You should have at LEAST gotten some sort of automated response.
If you still can't locate it... then send a new /petition. Also, if it was published, do a search there, and go to Edit. At least then you should be able to re-save it and not have lost EVERYTHING, just whatever you did since it was last published. -

Quote:I did try that and unfortunately it was not in my locals. If you've been working on it for hours and saving it as you go you should have 2 versions of it still on your comp: the local file you saved it as and the autosave file. Load up the AE interface and navigate to your local stories. Hopefully the autosave version will at least be there.

I accidentally deleted my arc that I spent countless hours on just to get it right. I was trying to fix something in it and thought I was making it inaccessible to others. I'm new to the arc but I really liked this one and don't want to loose it. Am I going to have to start over? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've done keyes twice now. Each time I said I'd never do it again so why did I do it the second time? I got into a league and when they said they were going to do keyes I told myself to be nice and stay because I hate to join a group and then quit as soon as I get invited. Keyes is almost virtually impossible to do. I like to play the game but then at the same time I like to relax. Keyes is too wound up for me. It's like everyone is running around crazily going so fast. I like a more relaxed mode so keyes is not for me. Someone said that you had to try it three or four times to get the hang of it. I guess I'm just one that won't get the hang of it because I'm not doing it again.
