Clear Mind and other single-target powers that provide status protection were NOT made into AoEs.
Increase Density from Kinetics only provides the resistance buff as an AoE. The anti-mez portion is still single-target only. -
Quote:Ah, so that's why you keep trying to swing your e-balls around the thread...Sorry. I get testy when people call me factually incorrect.
(To be fair, I don't have a leg to stand on in this argument... I don't play Blasters. I just wanted to make the testy/teste pun.) >_> -
Or the ones who ride down the shoulder during a traffic jam... a traffic jam caused two hours earlier when two motorcyclists attempted to weave through rush hour traffic with fatal results.

Quote:They need Money to do this, someone to sponsor them or a loan or something that grant them a large amount of money to keep the game going or make a New Coh like a coh 2 or another Super Heroes online game.
Maybe that's why he prefaced it by saying "wishful thinking?" -
Quote:My answer to that is "yes." As Arcana states, I* (like everyone else in the world) am pretty sure that I'm a much better than average driver. But as long as it means no more drunk drivers, grandmas driving 20 miles under the speed limit in the left lane and jackasses in Camaros who cut in between cars with less than a foot of leeway, I'll happily let Johnny 5 drive. The question is would you cede control over your car, if that allowed you to upgrade the drivers of all other cars to computer control.
I hate driving anyway (again, paranoia). If my car drives itself, then I can just play Gameboy or take a nap or something while commuting to and from work. It's a win-win.
*Though in my case, I'd say that it comes from paranoia after surviving a collision as a child. (No, I was not driving.) I get VERY tense while driving because I'm constantly anticipating what every other car on the road MIGHT do and plan appropriate avoidance maneuvers. -

Playing Borderlands 2 as well, though on Xbox. I generally pick up and play a new console game or two every month, but nothing will ever replace CoH.

I really wish I'd been able to contribute, but since the cap was reached in THREE HOURS, I didn't get much of a chance.
I'll keep my eyes peeled for the next round. I definitely want to thank the devs for all the good times they gave us in the past. -
Not sure exactly why I posted this here specifically, but it reminds me of SatHam, and I knew he'd see it. >_> -

I know it's been 3 hours since your last post, but the store is working for me.

Mwahahaha! Chad does ALL THE PUZZLES!

I was really hyped for making a Titan Weapons/Bio Armor Brute. Been toying with it on beta since July, but it's not the same if it's not on live...
-
It used to be Information High (from Macross Plus), but I think it may have switched to GANGNAM STYLE after watching it on repeat for over 2 hours tonight...
There's just something about that video that reflects the spirit of Chad Gulzow-Man. I think it's the "screw what everyone else thinks, I'm having fun!" factor.
EDIT: ... Dammit, I just posted in a server forum thinking it was the City Life forum again. *facepalm* -
Quote:I Wormholed Sally (THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!) into the trees in Croatoa once. >_>It's hillarious when you have people on your team who don't know that it's possible to wormhole him.

Chad's confession: I have a fair guess as to how I "earned" the Passport badge, and it did not involve being transferred to the EU servers. The guess does, however, involve entering a Hero Gear Kit code and a CoV Preorder code back to back...
Of course, after reading some of the previous posts, it could have just been Pohsyb screwing up an SQL command again. >_> -
Quote:In my case, that ship sailed looooong before CoH came into being, my friend.I think we feel an ethical responsibility to keep things relatively sane.
And back atcha, to all of the bros and girl-bros on the Paragon team. Fistbumps to all!

Aiming to be there on Chad, might be a few minutes late though.
EDIT: Oh, it's NEXT Saturday... Should be okay, then. >_> -
As I posted in another thread, Chad Gulzow-Man and co were created long before CoH was. They're no strangers to dimensional travel, so if another good superhero game ever surfaces, they'll likely appear there. And if not, then they'll at least remain active in my own stories.
Sadly, there are a lot of characters that belong in Paragon (or Praetoria) who won't be joining the Gulzow-Men. For example, my Freakshow lieutenants B1zZ3rK and Snap Crackle PUNCH! don't have business being elsewhere, as much as I'd like to reuse them.
Others are... iffy, at best. Year of the Monkey is a Staff/Stone Brute based on the Chinese legend of the Monkey King; he can go wherever he fits, really. The Polonium Kid, my radioactive cowboy, could equally be reused somewhere that allowed for him to use both pistols and radiation. The Emolator, the goth teenaged son of a fire demon, could resurface somewhere pretty easily too.
And then there's all the joke characters I've made over the years: Falcon Paunch, Master of Puppies, Pot O' Brass (the Steampunk Leprechaun), the All-Time Loser... They will all be sorely missed. -
I grew up as a big fan of TMNT and Sonic the Hedgehog. The first superheroes I ever created--all the way back in 6th grade--were teenage kids that got mutated into human/animal hybrids... Werewolf Boy, Blizard, Pole Cat (a cat boy who fought with a staff, not a skunk), Copperhead, Spider Kid and Fly Boy, etc.
I kinda grew out of that as I got older and online communities started sexualizing anthropomorphics. But obviously with my own past as I described above, I'd be remiss to look down on anyone for their fondness for such.
... Just as long as no one starts talking about "yiffing," anyway.
Furry characters I've created in CoH:- Falcon Paunch, a (slightly-overweight) former boxer and also bird man (made largely to test out the release of the Animal Booster)
- The Maul Cop, a werewolf security guard
- Kitsume no Miko, a Japanese shrine maiden whose lineage had been cursed by a demon fox long in the past (her third costume had demon fox features)
- Year of the Monkey, a representation of the Chinese Monkey King of legend
