Typo Nitpick = it's Lorenz Ansaldo not Lorenz Ansald_ ...

Off the top of my head...
Boston Legal was pretty darn good - "dramedy" not a pure comedy, But it's one of the best = that I haven't seen mentioned yet, & that I liked enough to make the effort to watch. Ooohh, Castle also fits that 'not entirely comedy but funny' bill as well.
My first 2 suggestions for recent Comedies would've been (Big Bang Theory, & How I Met Your Mother = already on your list).
If you like the animated sort - Family Guy, Futurama, and King of the Hill?
Lemme think, so far as cable shows - Entourage and Weeds are pretty freaking hilarious (IMHO), again not pure comedies though...
More in the "Sit-Coms" department: Dharma & Greg, Spin City, That 70's Show, and I'll 2nd the recommendation of Scrubs -> (this one took a while to grow on me before I really liked it = in syndication).
Lastly, two old-ish favorites of mine: The Wonder Years & Northern Exposure... I think they fit your request with the pop-culture and what not (some of its dated - but I'd bet you'll to get most of it.) -
Sounds like you may have accidentally clicked "Spam" instead of "Claim"?
The way the email tab/window pops up - for me at least (it may vary with different screen resolutions?), I have to pull the thing up a good bit before the "Claim" button is pulled up & clear of the "Spam" button.
IDK, its just a thought... -
Quote:Oh hell - For that, I'd snap the necks off of small furry animals, Or rescue them from of trees & stuff = (either way really)...Also, I'd kill for the ability to have more than 18 storage items in a base.
Or go totally darkside and "kill younglings", or (Hmm?) IDK what the opposite of that would be - maybe scream "Nnooooo" afterward like a whiny little *itch, then...
Ok wait, maybe that last part would be going a tiny bit overboard.
But you get the idea.
IDK if anyone there even knows how to create items in the Base Database - after "Lord Recluse" left? (or got sacked?)
I know we were told there MIGHT BE some work put in on some simple base items, in the semi-distant future guess-timated as Post I19 & I20 iirc, (so we would be creeping up on that "in the future" = about now-ish).
Really simple stuff like bigger "building blocks" of various sizes (with a few texture/color options0 - appropriate for making Floors (with an opaque underside & solid-like = so you couldn't jump up into them and get 'stuck'), maybe some Walls, Dividers, maybe even something to make semi-proper stairs & railings, and that sorta thing...
So we wouldn't need to use a 100's of small items to fashion floors & walls.
I think there was even talk of possiblly having a couple more "room styles" to add variety to the same Tech 1,2,3, Hi-Tech 1,2,3, Arcane, Oriental, Brick, Factory, Sewer, Etc. that we've had since the beginning when CoV first came out.
Now those are the sorta things I'd happily pay $ for... -
True enough... BUT,
Don't forget the miracle of the Google cache!
(That is, If you 're ok with just reading the text for now. Or wait till whenever they fix it = & maybe see some pics you've likely already seen, plus the regular bunch of banner ads.) -
Well...I've been having "issues with the game for quite some time now & I've done ALMOST absolutely everything I know to troubleshoot and/or fix it.
I've been working on this (off and on) for quite awhile now SInce I19 came out and it's been a virtual Crasha-palooza!
And it's 'hard lockups' too = I can't even get to taskbar or the task manager and restart or shutdown from there - so I'm having to reboot via the reset button - and it's been accompanied by a sound loop almost every time so far.
I've spent time digging through some old-ish posts from earlier this year, From the hear and the Nvidia forums, and other random-ish posts in whichever forums Google happens to lead me to...
There are still some thing left to try, and a sizable number of older drivers to go back and try (uninstalling and re-installing as I go), this isn't fun - I've managed a couple 5 mins or so at WW's with one alt, and another couldn't even manage to go pay SG base rent in Galaxy - locking up before exiting the Arena - where (to my surprise), I'd parked that Alt for 130+ days!
I'm realizing that I haven't been able to really play the game reliably in 2-3 (going on 4) months, and particularly the last 5 or 6 weeks.
It's time to turn on the Bat/Dev Signal - this has become absolutely crazy!
And -adding insult to injury - I never even get a chance to submit a freaking Crash Report either! -
Well...
I've been working on this more (off and on) thru the night & it's been a virtual Crasha-palooza!

I just managed to get rid of Google Updater yesterday after a week or so of trying - it had somehow managed to sneak itself into my system with a software update.
There was some box that I didn't un-check = Maybe in ZoneAlarm or Adobe... although it could have been Firefox, or anything remotely related to the "Google Pack".
I had to remove pretty much everything, Although I was working on doing the same with Motherboard, Audio and Video Drivers - so it wasn't as painful as it could've been...
But I ended up deleting all the Nvidia Shared-Common Files, and removing and "scrubbing" the Registry of everything related to them. And several other things that I'd characterize as "less-than-wise" AND a number of things that I wouldn't really recommend to others = aka "Don't try this at home boys & girls".
I succeeded in repairing my Audio, I'm just stopped in to see if there was any news in the realm of Video Drivers & older Video Cards playing well together, I don't see any yet.
I've still got some ideas to on how to combat some of the problems - One of the biggest hunches - that I've noticed some possible correlation with... Is an issue of turning nearly all driver settings, all the way down.
It appears as if this is counter-productive, and (in some cases) it appears to be (basically) just off-loading work to the CPU, Rather than simply eliminating work for the GPU - and (presuming my hunch/suspicion is correct) this is turning out to be MUCH 'less than helpful'... I'm going to work on it this evening and post any successful/positive results - with whatever evidence I have = be it anecdotal or otherwise. -
I had a similar issue when trying to buy several of the $10 "Packs"... For reasons I never got a direct answer on, I could only buy one "item" per day.
I hadn't set any limits on my account, not that I'm aware of - But I believe there had been an issue with a certain credit card company = having had a large number of accounts compromised on-line.
IIRC, it wasn't directly connected to CoX at all - but the NCSoft store (apparently) took some action to limit/minimize the possible negative ramifications IF CoX accounts connected to that credit card had been affected.
Basically = I had to wait and order them over the course of several days. Although I never raised a fuss about it with customer service, They might have been able to "fix" the problem somehow?
But... I figured that, as infrequently as I order stuff from the Online Store, having a one purchase per day limit on my account was probably a good thing - just in case. -
I wouldn't count on New hardware fixing the issue, check a few of the other threads here, there are people with New hardware having about as much trouble as people with older Video Cards/Systems.
Too may people are doing just what you're talking about = Upgrading Hardware instead of insisting on an actual fix for the problem. And it's leading the hardware snobs to think they're right - "it's just your old hardware... get a new rig and be quiet. Really we know everything!"
It's bound to catch back up with some of these folks before too long, I bet we'll soon enough see people here that went and bought a new Video card or worse an entire System. Because nobody can be bothered to troubleshoot bugs anymore.
The next most popular cop-out "it must be spyware/malware/a virus, Time to wipe and re-install..." = This is the second worst B.S. excuse for not bothering to spend time troubleshooting & finding then fixing software issues!
I19 is out, I expect them to have someone from Q/A working on figuring out how why the new engine isn't backward compatible with the "Required", Suggested/"Recommended" Hardware specs. for the game.
If they can't do this then in a reasonable amount of time = Then, they need to fess-up about failing to keeping the game backward compatible on "then current" (when they made the promise) hardware - Going forward with the release of I17's UltraMode (and that FSM forsaken "graphics slider"), and change the official listed Required Hardware Specs!
All they've shown an interest in fixing is getting all the shiny new bells and whistles and Dual-card SLI Mode working, Nvidia has been obsessed with SLI Driver compatibly/optimization since...
Oh, right around the time your 8800 GTS was released (roughly) AIRC, that's when they started pretty much ignoring anything not Series 8 or soon after Series 9 cards and making them run in pairs, so they could post better Benchmark Scores than their competitors.
Which makes me wonder to what extent NVIDIA really tests their 'Unified Drivers', And just how much (if any) the Dev team spoke with NVIDIA about keeping CoH functional while/after they re-built the Engine for I17/UltraMode? -
I feel your pain, I'm still running a 'BFG 6800 GT OC' - yippee!
Somewhat more seriously, Many people have posted about this recently and, "Man in the Sky" only knows how many others are having this same problem. I've had troubles since I17 was released, they recently got to the "game breaking" level = as in I can't even get past the freakin server select screen, much less logged into to a character & loaded into the game.
I hope you can find a driver that runs this, please let us know if you do I'd like to give whichever driver that is a try on my system.
Also, FWIW the newest version of 'Driver Sweeper' are located at http://www.phyxion.net/ - 3DGuru doesn't (or didn't last time I checked).
I'm about to take the 2.75 version and go try uninstalling and re-installing a variety of drivers for the nth time... *sigh* -
Sounds like you may have the problem discussed (in many places for over several years time now), a quick google turned up an example of the problem I believe you may have -> Here: http://news.cnet.com/2100-1003_3-5170924.html?tag=nefd_top#yourtake - Is some info on the problem as I recall it, it happened to my 19" Flat Panel Dell (=aka Samsung) LCD a few years ago - after I'd had it for at least a year, probably closer to 2 yrs.
Honestly I don't remember if (at the time) there was a real "fix" for it = like the one mentioned in the article above - I think they were still denying it was a problem.
Quote:Yeah, Anyway that sounds just like the EDID "bug" that I had hit one of my Dell LCD's - I think I just switched to the VGA connector (my Video card has both connectors), So - it really made no difference to me. IIRC, I just opted to go with that instead of trying to reset the EDID= 'extended display identification data' and risk messing it up worse - with a new (at the time) iffy "Fix"."The fix involves updating the affected PC's drivers and resetting the monitor's EDID, or extended display identification data, which contains the settings for the monitor. When the EDID is corrupted by the driver mismatch, it can cause a display not to work, according to Dell."
Eventually, I just forgot about it - but what you're describing sounds just like the trouble I had. And the temp fix was flipping the switch on my power strip/surge protector off for a few secs, then back on...
Note: That 'jury-rig fix' ended up being a strain on my PSU & video Card - and at some point stopped fixing the sleep state.
Actually after looking thru a few more google hits/posts on the subject - I may have gone ahead and run what ever fix they had, I'm thinking it would've been the next time I had to re-installed Windows. Here are 2 of them -
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/57...ower-save-mode
http://www.devhardware.com/forums/co...ave-44533.html
Sorry I can't recall it more clearly... it was a few years ago now. Hopefully this helps. -
Quote:I'm - damn near 100% certain - that it doesn't do that anymore, in fact IIRC it doesn't affect players anymore, even PVP...There are some attacks..like electric, that drain endurance and therefore take end mod enhancements. Be forewarned though it wont stun anything other than a minion unless you stack it with another stun power. Then you can never enhance the stun duration either. Its kinda weak IMO.
Also, you dont want to stick it in stamina, or you will end up stunning yourself.
They changed it quite a ways back - I don't think they managed to re-work it so Kins couldn't grief everyone in sight (even accidentally) or screw themselves over slotting it in Quick Recovery - although the set bonus for that isn't really attractive enough for most people to slot it like that.
But it did use to happen and people wound up stunning themselves in a pretty comical fashion = a 10% chance on auto - every 10 secs... -
Or, just maybe... They (=PS) could go directly to Nvidia themselves, and bug/nag/ask for help with the problem. Whether its just Open GL 3.x or if its larger than that, I think it's mostly NVIDIA gfx cards that the game is having problems on.
-
I did all this, repeatedly, and I'm still dealing with the crashing & resets.
I've checked Hardware & Software - every bit of it = (its taken about 2 weeks or so doing it - as my shrinking supply of patience has allowed), and I can't find anything solid to pin the issue on.
I've done ALL the things, and ALL of the stuff, Basicaly - 'you're supposed to do' - except for buying a whole new computer. And at this point I doubt even that would guarantee me an end to the problems, and it's not my connection either, I think it's some arcane code bug no one has been able to nail-down, much less address & actually fix.
(I haven't posted Logs yet - I don't know if I even want to install CohHelper - I haven't read a thread where that's actual helped this lately rash of crashing/resets/bugs, I have seen spec used as "that's card is too old", "It's probably fried", you don't have a big enough PSU (or RAM).
Or my new least favorite phrase = "All the Lastest Drivers" - or "try every combination of possible settings until it works" - or "You really should just go buy a new PC"...
I'd swear it feels more & more like some of the techies around here gotta be working at NewEgg. -
I had this happen today when I tried to select the DayJobs Tab from that same list. FWIW, I'd started with Closest to Completion open, then I switched to Contacts, then Missions no problem, then to Accolades = fine, it was DayJobs that (seemingly caused me to crash) But, I'm starting to think it's way more random than people are guessing...

All sorts of people have been having similar issues (myself included) for weeks now, and I keep hearing the same 'non-answers' ("it must be your PC", or "it's spyware/malware," or "you need new drivers", _insert typical PC hardware snob quote here_, etc.
There is something wrong going on around here over the last few weeks and - its beyond CohHelper and Hijackthis - all that does is give people 'scapegoat ammo' to throw excuses at the person trying to deal with the issue. Much like yall's "collective consensus" here = that this guy's problem is an weak/insufficient PSU...
Looking at the posts in this Section/forum this evening there are at least a half-dozen threads (with multiple posters each) who all seem to be having the same problem - more or less.
I've been working on it for the better part of 2 weeks - I've troubleshooted everything in my rig hardware-wise (to the best of the info I can find on older Nvidia cards) trying to run the "wonderful, allegedly, "Unified Drivers" = in my experience they are no such thing (at least not back past the 8 Series cards/drivers). I've gotten rid of a few tracking cookies, one oldish P2P worm variant - well technically 2 nearly identical ones from the same family am "/B" and a "/C" variant - they're gone now.
Now, I haven't had a P2P client on this machine in years = back before my last complete re-install so it wasn't doing anything - Fortunately, And I'm sure their is some sort of spyware around in here somewhere.. But I don't have Office, or Outlook, or any P2P/torrent client, etc.
My guess is those 2 worm variants came from an infected PDF file - that's about the only thing outside of the other software I mentioned above it's the next most likely avenue for that sort of thing these days.
I was thinking, when was the last times someone checked the Page/Server that CoH Helper is stored on? Because I did DL that just before the worm showed up - then tried to hide in an old .Net framework file & its cousin went for a System Restore file.
I scrubbed out the registry, and a bunch of other stuff with the newest versions of the various utilities I've relied on for years, and a new one CCleaner 3._(?) Anyhow...
I'm done the Driver thing to death as well... Newer doesn't always equal better - That advice did me very little good, (if any) and took me a week to find old-ish but not too old drivers for my old nForce Chipset, Onboard Audio, and Video. I tried the newest everything from Nvidia (and multiple verison in between 195.62, 197.45, 260.99, and even went back to 91.47 at one point to pull a driver specifc to my motherboard - that afaik/have tried = it HAS to have for some stuff.
I'll admit there might be some driver out there I haven't tried yet - that will run this game without crashing like everyone else seems to be dealing with... but I can't find it.
RIGHT AFTER - a whole host of people insist that they abandon their current drivers for the newest "bestest" ones... And even folks with new systems/video cards, with plenty of Power, and no other detectable/plausible problems -- and yet they're all still having (quite similar) problems with crashing & resets!
And a few around here had - who - up until very recently had sworn this couldn't have anything to do with the game client or servers... are now having the same basic issues - off the top of my head Dark Respite is one of these folks - I just read a half hour ago or so, who'd that thought she'd had it figured out, but has fallen prey to the semi-random crashing & resets.
Earlier today I thought I had solved the problem on my rig, everything else was 100% SPIFFY, I waited around yesterday/last night ready to squash spyware/bugs = nothing but a couple cookie-trackers, and what I'm thinking is a false-positive IE 'homepage-highjacker', IDK? I don't use IE 99% if the time - aka if at all possible -so it really doesn't matter much atm.
I'm really hoping for some Dev help on this - or at least an acknowledgment that there IS some sort of problem that here... Something that isn't actually related to any of the following = CohHelper/HJT, "New Drivers", "More power", "New Parts". And that it's nothing that any of the standard go-to fixes will solve!
Aside from getting a whole new rig, But - even that seems iffy - after reading lurking around here for the last 3 weeks, people with new rigs doing all the right things are seeing the same bug/crashes/resets... -
It's an acronym alright, it came from MUDs...
There was a huge fuss at some point (and rumors of a lawsuit) after Everquest had basically ripped off a ton of stuff from there & started making oodles of cash from it. But they didn't steal the actual code - justthe more amazing ideas, innovative fun bits, and elements of MUDs built on that code.
Mobs, Agro, Con, etc. Con'ing Mobs http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consider_(MUD)
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DikuMUD for more details if you're interested.
EDIT:
Dang, I posted this after reading/seeing the top of just one page - then I went back thru (most of) the thread and skimmed thru all the previous pages of nitpicking, symantics & whatnot.
FWIW, & IMHO...
A "Mob" is = to that next, random "Minion, Lt., or (Non-Elite) Boss" that you can expect to find as a "spawn", irrespective of it being a "spawn point"-based spawn, or a spawn due to a Game/Server Reset, or an (Uber-Sekrit) Trigger-Based Spawning... and regardless of the size & number of said "Mob"(s) - in said "Spawn". -
Okay I admit, I was a bit cranky in my post above... it was just shy of 3am, and I'd been working on it all most of the day/evening.
And actually with all the problems that myself (and many others) have been having since they "improved the graphics engine" - I've been attempting to deal with this = much longer than that...
What would you have me run and/or do?
You should know that, the NVIDIA Driver Downloads page, says that 260.99 will work just peachy with my 6800GT.
I've installed and tried the new System Tools that looks/detects what card/system you have and that functioned just fine (kinda spiffy looking even - with updated Java). It found my card and all my hardware even the nForce3 Ultra/250 onboard stuff, & software - drivers, etc.
It told me the same silly thing = "Use the shiny NEW Drivers, no really - they work... honest".
And so far as watch DVD's, streaming video, a dozen + Firefox Tabs, WinAmp, Solitaire, and all the system utilities I can throw at it simultaneously... Everything but CoX!
And, at times I've been able to run the game mostly okay - for a random amount of time.
I had the problem with the UI flickering when scrolling up or down in the UI - like the Badge window, and the Market, and everything else with that same basic UI element - grab and drag the little bar to scroll.
I've had lag so bad when logging in, that I have to do it twice whenever I first start-up or restart, or swap alts, etc. Horrible loading screen lag... And I'm pretty certain I've seen other people with all the same problems (not necessarily at the same time), and the only answer for most has been
"Go buy a new computer" = the game is no longer backward-compatible.
Yep, my machine is closing in on 6 years old, but I refuse to accept this nonsense of "Here are the Hardware Minimum Specs & Recommended Specs" and the Devs can't keep the up support, or rather keep the game running on those specs.
Which they assured us - wouldn't be a problem before/during they were updating the Graphics Engine for "Ultra-Mode"...
My PC isn't "fried"... Old? Sure, but it's Not Dead Yet or even "broken" for that matter.
Seriously though, what would you like to know?
What should I run and post logs from? - mind you, I don't have a place to host files. (Never have - just like I don't do IM'ing, or Texting, or Facebook/Twitter/etc.) -
Is there anyone here who can suggest/point out a Video Driver for my 6800GT - that will run the damn I17/UltraMode "rebuilt" graphics Engine?
I got by with the 91.74 Drivers for years = literally (and had run on older ones than that for quite awhile. I've learned the hard way, more than once even, That the standard answer/advice "Always Update Your Drivers BS" - is often = just that B.S.!
But the semi-recent "Improvements" to the Game Engine have been causing me nothing but trouble, ever since they first landed - I had to fiddle with some settings right away - attempting to cling to my "old" settings/quality/performance/etc. as best I could.
I'm running a simple little system, and I was getting by just fine using very-modest graphics settings with my old card. (And, yes my rig is "ancient" - I know and have plans to build a new one "Soon"
I was running No Water FX, simple/low shadows, 2xAA & 2xAF or there abouts... with the only really "demanding" settings being High Quality Character & World textures/shaders - or whatever the setting were before(?), those and High/not max 'World Detail' and whatever setting gave me the Farthest Draw Distance = LoD?)
Did I mention, I really hate the way they changed all the settings? And that I really, really HATE being thrown under the "S.O.T.A. Bus" the way they didto all of us still running "Puter-sauruses" (happily or not).
So I've tried 197.45, and 260.99 (and 260.89 iirc) - the major problem I have with changing drivers repeatedly is that I've got a nForce 3 250/Ultra (its a Shuttle FN-95 V2 SFF M.Board), Athlon 64 3200+ (939 Winchester 90nm), with onboard Marvell-Yukon GigEthernet, and onboard nForce 3 Audio (and it uses NVMixer Audio), and WinXP 32bit.
That adds up to a truckload of Nvidia Drivers, that they stopped supporting/updating long ago - the nForce5_11 Drivers were the last ones, and my board doesn't use them all. I can't afford to disrupt the IDE Driver (= it's complicated with the option of Nvidia SATA RAID drivers or IDE to SATA drivers), I barely remember how I sorted it all out the first couple times, it wasn't pretty.
So updating the video driver made GoogleMaps fly like it's never done on this box before, Yippee! But the game Keeps crashing = I'm getting lock-ups & lag-blackscreen-reboots, fortunately only one BSOD = when I didn't go thru the Uninstall, SafeMode Reboot, Driver Sweeper, Re-boot, Install New Driver steps properly.
YES, I do know what I'm doing (for the most part), I've managed to minimize upsetting/messing with this mass of "not so user friendly" combination of drivers, MB/components, and a GeForce BFG 6800GT OC AGP, they're all orphans...
That Shuttle abandoned, BFG Died = (R.I.P.), & NVidia gave up supporting all of the various legacy parts/software long ago. This whole, "Our latest driver will support your 6800GT just fine" is a B.S. lie and they know it... or they should!
So, I've been reading and I'm at the point where I think that the 197.13 might work, that anything post "Release 256.xx" won't get along with a card this old = Pre-Series 8. Seems that anything prior to Series 8.xxx is "off their radar" and not their concern.
I've known that for about 4 years or so around the time of the 8600-8800's and SLI became the end-all be-all for NVidia.
Drivers were screwy & for the most part NOT backward compatible back in the late 70.xx - 90.xx versions (that's why I stuck with the 91.47 ForceWare, which was near the end of the line for Forceware - I've got 91.31 drivers archived. IIRC, they didn't work very well when they were new...
Sorry for the Extra-Long Rant - I've been working on this for a long time now, and it got much worse after I18 went Live, and seems to get more and more buggy every damned time the publish anything - even "minor fixes" or stealth hotfixes.
I'm not trying to run UltraMode anything - I just want to play with low quality gfx for characters & world, a decent draw distance, maybe 2xAA at 1280 x 1024 = the native res. of my 19" FP (dell/samsung).
I've tried Windowed Mode maximized, I've tried all the most common answers/solutions - with some success. My rig runs fine till I start playing CoX, it fine besides that (I don't really have any other games installed FarCry would overheat it always has if I wasn't careful & now its likely just too old(Hmm?), GalCiv2 crashes when the Galaxy gets too crowded - but thats not to unusual either. I've run all the usual Spyware/Malware/Anti-Virus scans/programs & only found 1 "homepage hi-jacker" for IE...
I don't run IE and my homepage has been About:Blank for as long as I can remember - I'm 97% certain it isn't anything like that - I really don't have the patience to deal with someone demanding a HijackThis scan (I don't ever keep it installed, yes I've run it and found nothing significant - I'm familiar with all the processes I have running in Task Manager & what Spybot S&D and MalwareB (iirc) have reported. I've defragged recently, have plenty of free disk space, I've done all the standard stuff - and read thru all the solutions I can find here, at the NV Driver Forum, etc., and so forth.
Anyone who gets this far thru this post happen to know from experience a Driver Version that will be good/new enough to run this new Game Engine with UltraMode tuned all the way down or even OFF, and old enough to still run on my 6800GT? -
Quote:I was waiting for this response - I'd expected it to arrive much sooner...I also remember that this game is balanced around SOs, and 1 IO drop can set you for life on all your characters if all you purchase is SOs..
Quote:I did not realize this game was called "City of Marketeers'. My bad, gonna need to find a heroes game somewhere.
You'd have better luck going door-to-door selling communion wafers to synagogues.
In this part of the forums - you've just crossed the line into (figurative) Host desecration. You're the Jehovah's Witness knocking on the door of an OTO Lodge... You're talking Martin Luther to a group that would much rather spend their time arguing Left-Hand Path over Right-Hand Path, so to speak. -
I don't know why it shows the whole "listed for 000" thing , But - I know that if you're buying AND selling the same item, this will happen at times for what appears to be a somewhat "arcane" factor/reason.
Especially if it's stacks of salvage being simultaneously Bought AND Sold, but I don't believe it's limited to salvage, it's just much more noticeable.
Say you buy 5 stacks of 10 widgets each, and re-list them for sale... then try to go back and place a bids to buy another 5 stacks of widgets - at some point your sales and buy orders will get tied up & tend to inexplicably stand still for awhile, they'll eventually start moving again.
There's abit more to it, and while it doesn't make sense on the face of it (ie. it "shouldn't be doing that"), But its worked this way for a couple years. Don't believe me? Spend an hour or two flipping & flopping widgets - and you'll probably see it happen if you pay close enough attention. -
I found info quite awhile back about doing this with two macro's:
Quote:Or lemme see (search), ok/macro NoXP "optionset noxp 1"

Quote:Ditto.Dual pistols - Though I love the animation, would be nice to see a more 'western gunslinger' set as well...
Also, I was thinking of about the possibility of a guns drawn "ready stance" that more closely resembles something you'd see in a FBI/Detective/Spy movie = tilted perpendicular to the ground?

Please?

What with side-switching, and having servers full of alts and numerous SG/VG bases and Coalition-ed storage closet bases, and all the new Praetorian stuff that I've barely explored = mostly because I have so much stuff "left hanging".
I've had characters I wanted to transfer during the last free transfer period - But didn't because we had no idea how GR was going to affect SG's/VG's & their respective bases at that time.
Example: On a couple servers, I've got 8-11 or so alts (and some slots reserved for new Praetorians that I haven't actually created yet), but I can't really bring myself to start leveling those alts because they're not yet members of their intended SG's.
So, going up past around lvl 10-15 they'd effectively be "flushing" Prestige, have no TP or Medbay access, and not access to storage - I've got many alts w/ IO's just waiting on them to join and pick them up.
I suppose I could "Glee-mail" them 20 at a time, but that's a fairly recent development... and it would mean tons of logging in & out - which these days - seems to take about 5 times longer than it used to!
And that only solves part of the problem - and I seriously don't want to hear "have someone invite your alts in for you..."
1. No one I actually know still plays this game (despite all my efforts to get them back).
2. I don't want to impose on someone else's time while I'm logging in & out a few dozen times.
3. I play at all sorts of odd hours (= when I have the chance), normally at night.
4. When I get an idea for a new alt - I'd like to be able to create it and put in in a SG/VG = right then... realizing I can't do that on my own has left me with a long rtf/txt file full of character names/AT/Powersets & concepts - and it pains me to think about it all this for more than a few minutes.
I have a spare Key Code for another CoX account - but I honestly don't think could get all the stuff I've been putting aside to do "Later" - finished in one month... not without severely neglecting = basically everything else = including sleep, (and somehow managing not to kill my poor aging PC in the process), and at the end of that month, I'd be back in the same boat I started in.
Okay, if I managed to get all that 'back-logged' stuff done in that one month, it would be "fresh"/empty boat, But still it would be a discouraging spot nonetheless, Can we please get this on the top of the QoL "To Do List"?
I'm thinking maybe Pohsyb could do it...
