Quote:Yeah, basically "swap ammo" will be a click power with a quick recharge that cycles through the ammo types.Yeah, that's my problem with it. It's a feature that should just be a part of the costume creator (it already is at the creation screen), so why they didn't add this as part of an update is beyond me. I'm not the only one to wonder this.
Before Castle admitted that they couldn't think of anything better (not really a good reason to include the feature), I suspected as much, as it seemed like an odd move on their part, compared to most of the things they offer us. It's nothing like the little buff the Magic booster does, or the fun of self-destructing, or the mission teleporter.

How did I miss this? Apparently you'll be able to change your ammo for dual pistols on the fly? Should be nice and helpful to switch up depending on the mob.
There's a bigger thread on it in the Blaster forums, but I would guess Dual Pistols will be like Claws or Dual Blades: fast, lighter attacks. -
Quote:So, unless it's turtles, it's a natural booster. :PActually not confirmed. There was just some "ninja" banter, and Sexy Jay snuck some silhouetted figures into his presentation that resembled that type of character, with a sly comment about something "soon".
So while it seems logical that the next booster will have something to do with ninjas either directly or indirectly, it's still just broad hints and winks, and it could be that the ninja stuff is only a part of the booster contents. -
I'm thinking maybe you won't have access to your contacts on hero side and you can't start task forces. I dunno.

Here is a hypothetical question. Let's say someone wants hamidon enhancements. If the market is merged, why would anyone ever do LRSF ever again? Why not just do STF over and over?

I believe he said Vigilantes can trade inspirations with Villains during the con.

Quote:Positron said that Praetoria will have markets. The resistance will share with hero side and praetorian police will share with villain side through some kind of "dimensional magic". They are still working out the logistics of this, so there are no answers to the questions this raises. The main info thread on GoRo wasn't clear and I only saw BAB's comment after posting mine.
However, even with that, you are right that how hard it is to flip sides will determine how quickly marketeers can take advantage of each separate market.
Plus it suggests that the Praetorians have no market of their own. Really? Or, instead of a market merge are we going to see further market fragmentation and the creation of a third market: Merry King Cole's Discount Warehouse O'Self-Determination?
Unless GoRo is really only going to be lvl 1 - 20 when it comes to new content, making such a market unnecessary. Or perhaps Paragon Studios will continue their trend of introducing yet another resource type (perhaps Cole Hard Cash) that you can trade for enhancements et al when in Praetoria.
As I said: lots of nice new shiny systems, but the devil is in the detail of implementation. -

Quote:I'm sure the family of Lt Sefu Tendaji will find that very comforting. :PIn a world full of super-powers, arcane mysticism, sci-fi technology, etc....very few people actually die die. The technology to instantly teleport someone and repair any and all damage to their bodies is common in this world. That goes for player characters and NPCs alike. When you riddle someone full of bullets, poke holes in them with your sword, or burn them, it doesn't immediately end their life. It simply incapacitates them. They slip into unconsciousness, and shortly thereafter they're transported away and revived...generally in the Zig.
They'll be fine. Why else do you think the city would be so cavalier about handing out licenses to everyone with a pair of spandex? Why do you think the common thugs on the street are so brazen about their crimes? There's very little fear of actual death.
what about: Ghost Widow, Scapyard, War witch, Kelly namers, the Croatia ghosts, the pirate ghosts and all the body bags? -

Quote:Ok, just realized I forgot to post this here...ooops.
Well, if you act fast as in today is the last day, you may still be able to get on the queue for Brandon McKinney He's offering a sale that is considerably lower than his usual prices.
I couldn't resist.
...I couldn't, either.

Well, that is interesting and confusing. I've run that several times this week, and never had any trouble defeating him with teams that had those temps.

Quote:I think that was just poorly worded. I am completely confident they mean your current global.[/LIST]
I hate to have to fight about semantics about the rules (as usual), but are we really disqualified if we changed our global names from our original character name?
Or is this asking for @globalname(originalcharactername)?
Why am I bother posting it here?
It is highly unlikely that a RED name will answer this question here.
