I have a small wax Kruunch next to my bed that I pray to every night...

    Wait....what??
  2. Fire/SS/Pyre

It is hard to beat Fire for a well rounded solo set. Self-Heal, Self-Damage Buff, Self Endurance Recovery, and Self-Rez for the bad pulls.

SS and the yummy goodness of Rage+Foot Stomp is made even happier by Fiery Embrace.
  3. I miss them myself. It was fun to see what new comments would show up.

Then again I take it all with a grain of salt. Just another form of entertainment

    Bolding is mine.

This statement strikes me as odd when coming from a place where anonymous aliases are used nearly 100% of the time. Is being anonymous in the UserCP really that much different than being anonymous while hiding behind a screenname?

They represented different evil aspects. What you mistook for women was Scorn. There was also Terror, the ghosts. I do not remember the other two off the top of my head.
  7. Well, there goes another 9.99. At least my new tank who's only travel power is a 9:22 minute left jetpack will have a new way to get around.

Can not wait to get home and buy it

All references to 'Talsorian' in the game have been changed to 'Vanguard'. Any character that currently uses any of these costume pieces or custom weapons will be required to change them when they make any changes at the Tailor/Facemaker. (Please Note that we granted Costume Tokens on the Live Servers on Tuesday, November 10th).
Have they been removed or just renamed? If removed....why? I loved the Talsorian sets.
  9. We should split some servers and merge others.

That seems like a fair balance to me

    ps. I like pie!!!!!
  10. Is it me or is this the only game where people have asked for the ability to move slower, gotten it, and then celebrated the fact?

    I love this game....

And I definitely do NOT want the arc pulled and turned into a TF. We have enough plot locked away in TFs where no-one ever gets the chance to read the narrative. We don't need more. And we definitely don't need more content that makes us feel like chumps. I very much agree that taking out other-dimension Statesman and the other-dimension Freedom Phalanx single-handedly works really well for a hero's shining moment.

I am not a wimp. I shouldn't have to beg and plead and band together with seven of my buddies to take out one of them. THEY should have to band together to take me on. That arc does just that, and I love it for it. By all means, update the Praetorians and clean up the zillions of text errors, but do NOT turn it into a TF.
For a man who owns his own dimension my first meeting with him was slapping him around the room without having to pop an inspiration.

I think the key is, as stated above, a rewrite of the arc. The Tyrant arc never felt like a shining moment to me and I think this was due to the perceived power levels of the group. I felt more victory taking out his troops.

Personal perception, and it appears I am in the minority.

  14. A line of Giant Monsters in the Hive. Yes, I did try to solo them....yes I did die as soon as my defense inspirations wore off

Slightly altered..was playing around with lighting effects in Photoshop

Not much action, but I love this room for some reason. The reflective floor and lighting make for great screen shots.
  15. I never get them "on time". I do get them within a few weeks so I don't make much of a fuss about it.

I am reading what is going on, but apparently I get something different from it than you do. The arc makes me feel like he is the weakest of the group, forced to trick States to trap him rather than overpowering him.

For who is should be the arc really does not portray him in a very powerful light. Perhaps a bit of a rewrite would work as well. Anything so that he does not come off as the weakest Statesman of the bunch.
  18. Because the process of moving between hero and villain involves leaving our dimension, and therefore our timestream we do not have the ability to go back in time.

It is a little known CoH fact that whenever you go to another earth you end your timeline. Upon returning you are a fragment without a past. Luckily your perception of your past events allows Quantum mechanics to rebuild your timeline, therefore allowing you to exist.

When you leave our world, then change your alignment, then come back your perception changes. Therefore where you arrive Quantum Mechanics creates a history for you that better reflects your current alignment.

We like to call it "Positrons theory of MMO Realignment to allow for Story Consistency."
  19. Poor Tyrant.

As the game site today he is the whipping boy of the Statesman Inderdimentional Clone Family. Easy for a level 50 to solo thanks to the EB patch and generally frowned upon as the weakest of the group. His counterpart, Reichman, takes a full team and some strategy to finally take down. Even our goodie goodie Statesman ends up being a bit more difficult in most situations (VEAT arc being the major exception).

The arc portrays Emperor Cole not so much the all-powerful leader of an Utopia, but just another mad criminal who is out of his league.

I know that it was mentioned that the arcs were going to be adjusted at some point in the future. I would suggest pulling Tyrant from the arcs and having a taskforce/strikeforce with him as the main badguy at the end. Make him a real threat for a change and not just a footnote in a level 50's travel through the AV arcs.
  20. Personally I like sitting on the middle part of my chair and slightly to the left. This way when I just up and shout "I got a level" I shoot to the left and avoid knocking over my drinks.

Apparently it is his own dimension outside of Praetoria.
  22. What dimension was Nemesis Rex from?
  23. Issue 343 patch notes:

    - Finally fixed the bug that allowed villains to easily steal from MAGI vault. Turns out it was an error with the combination of the lock. 1-2-3-4-5-6-7

Oddly it is the combination same as my luggage.

    - As a result of the MAGI vault fix all lower level missions involving items being stolen from the vault will be changed to reflect the new security.

    - The 5th is back.......again.
  24. I still like pie.

    Get ready for the following...

    City of Spies
    City of Pedestrians
    City of Lights
    City of Grumpy old men.
    City of Catgirls.....bad bad idea...
City of Disney. Yes, they bought us out too. Now Statesman is Micky with a mask...As for Recluse....he spits and swears alot.
