Off topick Radmind What helmit is that guy on the far left useing? I can't figure out what helmet that is. It looks freaking cool.

On topic I would think that the Incarnate system is very broad allotting for the maxim amount of creative space for us to use. The Devs hasve said many times they have been impressed/amazed at the diversity we players can acheave with MA with our costumes and backstorys. I can't see them taking ANY of that away from us. In any way shape or foum.

    All that said

Major Skipper would be an incarnate of Death hes pure evil and hates just about every thing. I guess you could say hes an incarnation of the Ragnarok but even that would pale in comparison to what he wants to do.

Rivona Wouldn't really fit in to a system like this shes totally insane a vanguard power armor project gone wrong being able to generate nearly unlimited amounts of super heated plasma and directional thermal radiation I cant think of any thing she would care about if she could even remember it for long enough.

Crab Spider Webguard is on a secret mission for Mako and has Makos pool powers. I cant think of any reason he would even want more power. He thinks of him self as a pawn of Mako and Lord Recluse. And hes content with that if he had more power he could be a threat to Mako and LR he wouldn't want that.
  2. This toon is for teaming mostly doing ITF/LGTF until the magical "Endgame content" shows up that is.

Any way I was trying for perma Hasten failed/succeeded depending on how you look at it. I already have most of this too on an older build that's not as good I have one of the LoTG's and the Nemua already, I don't know about the Kismet just yet I may save up the merits and get it that way.

If I ever can I plan on getting a Armageddon set for Nova and a Ragnarok set for Explosive Blast (minus the procs) but that's a long term plan.

You will no doubt notice that I have almost no defense that because this is not for soloing and IMO I don't need it when I am soloing I have so much KB and damage its ether dead or not attacking me.

This is also going to be a test run for the Force Feedback +rechge procs because I can slot them in ALL my attack powers I'm going to see if they go off enough to make doing so worth wile which will require another build with less golble recharge but well see how this works first.

Scorpion Shield is just a mule for a 7.5. Same deal with Rise of the Phoenix I would still take it but I wouldn't put a Positron's Blast in there.

A few things I would like to do is fit as many 2 pice sets of Air Bursts in as possible. (If you don't know Air Burst has a GOLBLE bonus to Knock Back for 2 pices) As well as staying close to the fly speed cap as I can (its 58.68 I think) Fly speed thing is for RP (In my head she can go hypersonic E.G. Mach 5+) As for the Air Bursts well I just so happen to LIKE Knock Back ... in fact you could say I'm obsessed with it.

    Aaaaaaaannny way...... moving on.

I'm looking for suggestions mostly on any thing else I can do. Inf IS limited but I have an MM so I can farm for most any thing eventually it just takes time

  5. Devs: Are you ever going to fix the PVP?

Are we ever going to see any more content that is exclusive to one side? Failing that are we ever going to get access to the shadow shard from Redside. (Not through GR.)

Are they ever going to add another university/Midnighter club Redside?

Are they ever going to look at "broken" or "Useless" powers like the Master Mind Merc/ Serum?

  7. Ok I'm loving my new BS/Shield Scraper and my War Mace/Shield brute. However allways being in the "Combat" or "Ready" Stance is realy geting on my nerves. Now I would like to be able to bind the emote Idle1 to my W key unfortunately this dosen't work.

When I hit W I just run forward then slide around in the emote a bit then go back to running. The bind I used was /bind w "+forward$$emote idle1". Is there any other way to do this? For example a way to make the emote only go off when I release the W key?
  8. I farm Grandville papers on my Merc/Traps alltho I try to keep away from malta but COT,COS,CouncilI have no problem with.
  9. A Grenade Lancher Control/Gataling Gun Assalt Dom.

Would be the best toon EVER
  10. No. You can see my build in the Mercs thread. I just like to take the personal attacks. I use the number pad key binds and most of the time my pets don't need micromanaging.

My Bots/FF is stuck at 34 I think. Never encountered a combo so boring I couldn't play it longer than 30 min before falling asleep.

But my Mercs/Traps Is fun I always have something to do and I don't even have hasten. On teams average teams I can usually use all my traps once per spawn on fast teams it usually doesn't matter.
  11. QR

    That's easy.

Web Grenade, Pulse Rifle Blast, Pulse Rifle Burst, Photon Grenade, Web Grenade, Pulse Rifle Blast, Pulse Rifle Burst, Web Grenade, Pulse Rifle Blast, Pulse Rifle Burst, Photon Grenade.

    Ya get it?

    Bot/TA builds?

The best thing you can do is throw something tougher in Mids and post it. You say "Non-Respec" but don't tell us what powers you have. You say "Low Budget" a number on how much Infamy you want to spend would be much more helpful. Do those two things and we'll see what we can do to help you.
  13. Check there combat attributes for your pets see if it show up there. (Right click on them its at the bottom.)
  14. Bronze Knight

    Mercs

Ah yes my favorite subject Merc/Traps

Merc's are diffrent in that there all about a lot of little orange numbers all the time insted of big orange numbers some of the time. They also have very good accucary thanks to there -def so after an attack or 2 the rest will hit... most of the time. /Traps helps even more.

In a way Merc's are a lot like Bots.

The Commando: Your Tier 3 pet is where most of the damage is. Much like the Assault bot. He is kinda like a Assualt Rifle/ Cor. He gets Full Auto, Flame Thrower, LRM Rocket which is on a 4 min recharge. (One of the reasons people don't like Merc's) I think he also gets Frag Grenade, Buckshot and Slug.

Spec-Ops Probably one of the other reasons people don't like Merc's. This is what is suppose to make Merc's different and stand out from other sets. They fail horribly at it. They have I think 2 holds and 2 stuns Tear gas, Web Grenade, Flash Bang and Rifle Butt. Problem is all that stuff is on a long recharge so you don't see them very often and when you do its that lone Longbow Eagle with a sliver of life left. They also get a useless stealth power, 2 SMG bursts and a Snipe.

Soldiers You get a Medic as you last T1 pet he has Stimulant and Med-kit (Aid Other and Aid Self in one more or less), along with a Frag Grenade that gets him killed more often than not. He dose an Ok job at healing but again the recharge on med-kit is to long to help when you run into a lot of damage at once. The other two get a variety of MG burst like powers 2 cones, Full Auto and 2 Singe Target I think.

So in the end you get 3 full auto's 2 frag's (3 if you take the personal attacks) and 6ish cones. Oh and lot's of -def

NEVER EVER EVER EVER take Serum. Serum SUCKS it absolutely SUCKS. 16 min and 40 sek reachable + end crash.

Traps is a good set IMO it has a lot of tools and covers most of merc's failings rather well.

Web Grenade: Good for PVP thanks to the -fly but your not going to need it much for PVE I don't use it a lot so that all I can say. Well that and it can't hold a boss so its kinda "Meh" in my book. The -recharge is good on EB/AV's

Caltrops: A good power its a lot of damage and mitigation (thanks to the fear) in one and can take 6, yes SIX IO damage Procs its no nuke but brings it's damage up a bit.

Triage Beacon You can get a lot of mileage out of this. Its not a heal. However you put this down at the start of a fight and you'll see a difference compared to being with out it. Its also good for EB/AV's I only wish it's recharge was a bit lower or that it was mobile.

Acid Mortar: A unskipable power IMO one of the key things that you just have to take. -res, -def, AOE toxic damage and with enough recharge you can get two of them down whats not to like?

FFG: Another must take PAOE +def Res some mez whats not to like? Some people say they also use it to take alpha but I think the range its to short for that.

Poison Trap: The last of the Must take powers Poison trap won't wow you when you first get it but 6 slot it stick a entire Lockdown set in there and you will get just about everything in the mob but the boss's and some times them to! The -regen and -rechage in this is also what will let you solo EB/AV's

Seeker Drones: The debuff in these is kinda "Meh" but you can summon them at a long range and there great at taking alpha because no matter what there debuff will go off it wont matter if they die.

Trip Mine: I wish this would take Recharge Interrupt Time enhancements or what ever there called. If and I do mean IF you can get this off in the middle of a spawn it's beautiful. A combo Leathel/Fire nuke with no crash I tend to do around 300 or so damage. ( Thats solo on 0 (8) doing Granville paper missions with no boss's and no Malta so mostly COT COS and Council) But it may not fit the way you play. You and also set a whol bunch at once and pull around a corner generally killing what ever it was instantly.

Detonator: See here my thoughts on this.

    Pools

Super speed: Sucks Redside because its not flat and there are no strate rodes but good on TF's thanks to the stealth. Hasten is also good for getting your Traps down more often.

Leaping: I like Super jump Redside and Combat jumping is a good place for a LoTG 7.5 and the +def is good for getting Trip Mine down.

Fly: Is ok for the same reasons Leaping is I just don't like how slow it and Hover are. Air Superiority is good for PVP thanks to -fly but you already have Web Grenade.

Teleport: Use to be a no brainer when you could TP Acid Morter around. Seeing as you can no longer do that its a take if you want power pool.

Leadership: A good set to take all around I don't see much use in Veng tho

Medicine: Agin a good way to cover some of Merc's failings aid other to supplement your medic and Aid self is always good.

Fitness: Weather you need this or not is completely dependent on you build and slotting if you take the personal attacks then you will most likely need it.

Fighting: I don't see how you could have space for this in you build but if you want to takermind REALY bad, you could take this I suppose IMO you don't need it.

    Presence: Good for tankerminding.

    Concelment: Good for TF's

Patron Power Pools: You don't need them IMO.

....Dam I did not mean to stay up till 2:00 am and write an entire freaking guide.

Here is my build this may be more than your willing to do but if you want to you can tag along with me some time when I'm farming if you want to see how the combo performs.

This may not be for you I like the personal attacks because we can get that cool Vanguard assault rifle and M30 is great crowd control and for getting melee's off you. Slug puts out some good damgae and Burst well Burst is what it is.

O yes if only Mercs had no KB they would truly be the best MM primary.

    NOT

How about they lower the recharge on Spec-Ops holds and the Commandos LRM. Then take the frag greande away from the medic and chage serum out for something useful like a Gun Drone, or even better a LRM Drone.

    Ninjaviting

I got a good one last night I was on my L50 MM running around Grandville when I get a tell and a blind invite.

    The tell says something like

Nonamemoron: Interested in getting PLd 1-50 in 45minutes for 1Bil?
    And I'm just like.... /ignorespamer

Sweet!! Cause I really didn't want to do electric, but you have to stop the knockback if anyone's going to want to team at later levels. (Or so I am told)

Lies KB is one of the best things in the game the pricks that demand the spawns stay in one place and demand that you not use your KB power's are not worth teaming with. The only time you need to worry about your KB is on Master Of TF runs even then it wont be much of a problem.

If a brute ever complans, say nothing but just get ahead of him and start taking all the agro. He will shut up or pack up in short order.

  20. SoA Crabs can tank well but there not as good on holding aggro.

Just about any well played MM can tank well.
  21. Move out of the burn patch and stay in Bodyguard mode. Also don't run to the bank. Mayhem missions are easy if you take it slow and walk to the bank, killing stuff for more time. In fact you should read the wiki page on Mayhem Missions. and Bodyguard mode

This is more or less accurt On teams with /traps you have to use acid and posion and caltops are great in caves.

Also any one know if a Mercks/Traps MM can do the Nem TV farm solo at 0 (x8)?

That said most ITFs and LGTF's and LRSF's and Baracuda TF's and... Well just about ANY PUG TF/SF on an MM doesn't go well unless you have stealth.
