  1. Hmmm...I'm torn!

The three of them as babies being thrown out of the car, and having their hair styles seems stupid (and not in a good way).

But them older and doing the slapstick looks like classic Stooges!

From the rumors of the script I'm not to sure, but again, going to the slapstick it looks classic Stooges!

    I'm torn!
  2. All talking about gender equality between the avatars, when you should all be in game using the gender equal costume pieces of Titan Weapons!

The SLOWEST power (AoD), which is a massive damaging cone btw, is still faster than Concentrated Strike, and much faster than Total Focus and Thunder Strike for example. And you don't get fast versions of these attacks in their sets like in TW.
To add to this...1.3 is faster than most of Martial Arts attacks (which are 1.6/1.67 seconds).

Titan Weapons is like using one of the best attack chains for sets that use their tier 9 attacks.

It's not slow, except for that momentum building attack.

Well show a build that you slotted up using SOs. I'm curious to see it.

If you go that route make sure you have lots of defensive powers to take advantage of it, if you defense is from set bonuses agility won't help you.

If you have mids you can switch between the existing alpha powers to see how agility works (Nerve for defense, Musculature for End Mod)
I'd suggest Musculature (<---look I spelled it right this time >_>)

The +Heal isn't really helping you all that much. It's nice. But unless you need the +RCH, I'd go for the added damage, as you should beable to softcap without the use of Agility or Nerve, and those only increase a WP's defense by like 2% (which is handy, but if you're softcapped, go for the dmg).

I really like the Titan Weapon but for some reason I keep getting the feeling that it would get old to me soon.
Well then, stick with the StJ untill you get it to 50, and then make a TW!

    Stalker is such a step-child.
I think they were suprised by it more due to people's opinion that Titan Weapons doesn't fit the "theme/concept" of Stalkers.

But I guess they never thought someone's stalker became invisible through the use of alien tech, that allows them to stay hidden even with a raidroad sign, or a large axe or a HUGE FRIKKIN SWORD!

Really, I have no idea what they were thinking!

Other than Shield, which is better on scrappers, I just make all my scrappers Brutes now. The small advantage scrappers have in damage just doesn't compare to large boost to survival Brutes have.

But hey, I could overlook the small statistical advantages I see with non-Shield Brutes. They are fairly small and you have to be able to work with the Brute Fury mechanic. It's the utter frustration of enemies running everywhere that kills scrappers for me.

If I could obtain something like this without sacrificing damage that would be awesome and basically fix the problem assuming the taunt was long enough to last until my AoE(s) recharge.
I don't think anythings going to beat Reactive in damage with Fire DoT and -Resist

And Energy Aura has a taunt aura too.
  9. When TW/NIN becomes an option, I will be making a new Stalker, and rerolling my current TW/EA!
  10. Someone mentioned The Crow, but was Mystery Men forgotten?

It doesn't. It's takes slotting for ENDRED, but most people don't like to slot for ENDRED as much as enhance the other benefits, and like others have said the end drain from toggles really isn't worse than other powersets if you don't rely on CoF.
  12. Now would be a good time to ask the devs to make a DMG + Taunt Proc for Interface!

    Sept: Time Manipulation
    Oct: Beam Rifle
    Nov: Street Justice
    Dec: Titan Weapons
    Jan: Staff Fighting
    Feb: Darkness Control
    Mar+: ???

Thank you devs, you're doing a great job!
When did they say Staff Fighting in Jan?

Last I heard was "New power set every new issue"

Sure they free now, but after these two weeks, it won't be free anymore. And just because i can get it for free now, doesn't make it any less of a bad idea.
Theres still no model for Vanguard or Rularuu titan weapons, like there are for most other weapon sets.

Look at the newer weapon sets, Dual Blades and Dual Pistols. They came with waaay more then 6 options and no pack to buy with more models.

Ever since the market came it just seems more and more than they just add stuff and wanna charge for everything and everyone at paragon are walking around with dollar signs in their eyes. Some of the pricing in the market is just mindboggling, its as if they're trying to rip off the customers, just look at the Magic Bolero for the females, 440 points. But buy the whole magic pack its only 400, its like they're baiting people, and the pricing when report was apparently intentional.

I still havn't spent a single euro in the shop aside the free 550 points each month.
I agree it should of come with some more options.

However, what I don't really care about is new accounts after this free for two weeks having to pay for them

What;s weird is they're charging for things people kept saying "Id pay extra for" and then they get people saying "money grubby"

Yes, I think the TW set should of come with a few more skin models, but the pack is still free for 2 weeks, and everyone should beable to obtain them for free, and this really only effects new accounts who start after the two week mark
  16. Well I know when I see the use of Helper title, when I'm int he mood, I'll start barraging them with questions

Which would you rather have? Negative Energy resistance capped, or Psi resistance capped? It's a safe bet they would not have given us both. And NE is still in the 60%+ range on most characters, making it the second highest resistance in the set (not counting adding Tough to S/L resistances)
Psi resist may be possible to be capped, but it is not possible to cap on it's own.

By your their threory, with ELA being able to cap S/L Resist, it shouldn't be able to capp Energy Resist.

Why should it need capped NE resistance? Dark Armor is by no means weak.
I think it purely from my own thoughts of concepts on it. Nowhere have I thought it was weak.

    I have a Spines/DA at 50, I have a KM/DA at 40 and working it's way up, and I'll likely make a Staff/DA if Staff Fighting gets a purely energy looking staff (if it doesn't I'll likely make a Staff/Something Else, instead).

However, while there seems to be a big difference between the available combinations for certain powersets, these numbers really don't tell the full story. A large amount of combinations means it's less likely that you run into another player who uses the same powerset combination. But this isn't about overall diversity. It's a player's personal charas' diversity that I'm concerned with. You are not actually playing all these 49 combinations yourself, are you?

In your example, with 7x7 powersets, you can build seven charas and have all the sets. (You choose your seven combinations from a larger pool of 49, but you actually roll only seven of them.) For the melee archetypes, you can build just twelve unique charas. Granted, you have a much larger pool to choose from, but whatever you choose, you only get five more. After that, you need to repeat defensive powersets. (Several times, by now.)

Take the extreme case: Imagine having 500 primary powersets, but only one single secondary. Wow, 500 combinations! That number doesn't really mean anything, though. Very few players would get to play all the powersets, because at some point they'd be sick and tired of the one secondary powerset they are required to use each time. (Which would be a shame, because some of the primaries were really great...)

It's okay to repeat a powerset once or twice. It's just that we are getting so many new melee powersets by now that the gap between primaries and secondaries widens more and more.

Sure, it would be nice to get an eighth chara for your archetype. (I probably would play that one, too.) However, if the developers continue adding more and more melee powersets, I really hope that they'll also create a few defensive powersets on the way. Otherwise some players might stop buying the new melee powersets - just because they don't want to use the same old armors again.

    10joy
This is kinda true. I've met more than a few players who won't (and havent) reused any powersets.

I'm guessing they're a rare player myself though.
  20. Took my namesake, rolled up into a TW/EA Scrapper and loving it! I know I'll end up rerolling her again when a secondary more to my liking is made available to scrappers or TW is made available to Stalkers, but untill then...loving the combo.

[Note: EA isn't bad or even unfun, just waiting on a Positional Defense/Self Heal/Regen set is made available for concept ]
  21. I keep hoping they change that one aspect of Dark Armor, Rawside.

It's the only change I think the set needs imo. Sure, CoF getting tweaked a bit would be nice, but I'd rather have capped negative energy resist in the set more than anything else.

Brutes also have (in general) better patron options, gloom or superior conditioning are really nice which scrappers don't get access to. I do however hate how brutes are so much less responsive to damage buffs compared to scrappers, if Scrapper damage auras had a taunt aura I would have made a scrapper instead of a brute for this reason alone.
Well, do remember that Gloom has been bad for every weapon set, I don't see it being better for TW.

But your other points are valid. More so with TW being AOE heavy, so keeping enemies around will be nice.

Oooo...I hope so! Been wanting that set made (I know others would prefere something non weapon/smashing) for awhile.

I was even disappointed when the competition didnt have it as an option to start. :/
  25. Time/Fire Defender!

    +Defense to the Melees
    Debuffs for the enemies
Control for the Hami Raids (Time Stop!)

I might also suggest Ice/Time Corr, to add another hold.
