    Yeah...but even talking OOCly about got me alot of "No. Don't. None of that."

    But I'll be honest, I've run into a lot of "No don't do that, it bothers me in RL, so it bothers me in RP". So I just moved on. My intention is never to make people THAT uncomfortable. Even if it doesn't make since to me...one psychotic, sociopathic killer is the same as the next.

  4. While I didn't run into this bug. I wasn't even doing anything with my SG window, when the window poped up saying "Kick [Member Name] from SG?" message.

    I almost clicked yes automatically, thinking it was a team invite Luckily I read it first.

    Issue 17 lagfest

    I clicked the "enable Ultra mode" button when given the option.

    I'm guessing it set everything to the max that my game computer can handle.

    I've experience lag on one mission. Kept jumping back. No idea why. It went away after abit.

    Other than that, the same old thing that caused lag (lag valley in the ITF) is about the only lag Ive gotten.

    If I recall, all my ultra mode settings are set to max except 1, which is two notches down if I recall, and one isnt set...needs catalyst 2.something or other I think it was called (Id have to go back in game and check...says your video card MUST have this to work or something).

    I wasn't considering it either. I just wouldn't get upset if the devs decided to do it

    I really haven't been bothered by the glitches. It happens. I keep playing and move on Though I havent checked to see if I lost any of the things I had in storage in the auction houses either.

    I figure wait and see, and hope.

    Ok, yes...you're right. Corrs can get the higher S/L defense because of Mace Shield (though I figure Defenders will get access to that as well when they can pick up PPPs in GR).

    However. Not all sets are better off going with S/L Defense. For instance, I don't think it's better to go for S/L defense on my Dark Miasma user. Better to go with the Positional Defense (which with any of the same pairing, you'll have better numbers on the Defender).

    Also, Mace Mastery doesn't fit all concepts.

    ...[deleted rant about people picking numbers over concepts here]...

    And S/L defense can be tougher on the Blast sets getting. I mean really, you see some of those builds right? let's slot out boxing/brawl/kick/epic melee power to get that higher S/L defense...

    Where as I can slot out the powers I plan to use, on my Dark/Sonic Defender and get the positional defenses easier.
  9. So far my hope is for GR to have the Longbow recongize vigilantes in RI.

    It just won't make since if they'll attack you in RI but won't in Paragon. If you're a villain, they should attack you, if you're not they shouldnt.

    This will also help with the problem of people saying "Oh, the Longbow just attack me without cause" *mind you I play on Virtue so I RP* And really, that's more a game play mechanic as redside gameplay wise, you're a known villain (whether your concept says you are or not, that's how the game play is).

    Now that said, I also hope GR brings with it, rogue contacts in paragon and vigilante contacts in RI.

    My rogue may be willing to do some hero work, but, she'd still be a criminal

    My vigilante may be a little darker, doesnt mean she's going to kidnap, just means she's willing to go to RI to fight criminals outside of her hero license.

    Sounds like you just hit an unlucky streak to me.

    Yeah, so they might have a 5-7% chance to hit you. Doesn't mean all/most of them can't hit that 5% chance.

    Also, don't Rikti drones give +tohit?
  11. On the test thread, last I knew...solo wise...Defenders = more damage on enemies generally, with Corrs pulling ahead when scourge actually made a difference (ie...harder targets).

    Defenders also have the better defense numbers. Making them more survivable.

    That said...Corrs will stay the same, while Defenders damage will lower as soon as they team, untill they smooth out at 4 teamates.

    Sooo...if that's still the case, it comes down to:

    1) Where you want to start. RI or Paragon.

    2) If that doesnt matter, which do you prefere? Blast Primary or Buff/Debuff Primary?

    3) When teaming your buffs are great no matter which way you go...sooo...maybe you want to always have the top damage you can put out? Corruptor.

    4) Or maybe you just want a little more survivability. Defender.

    You can't go wrong with either one. So I'd base it off which you want as a primary, and where you want to start (red or blue side).
  12. I've made a few mentally broken villains. Boil a baby, kick a puppy...basically she attacked anything weaker than her. Which, got deleted, mostly because when I RP, and I kept getting complaints about the whole boiling/killing/maiming babies/kittens/puppies/bunnies.

    And that was just her talking about it. Not even RPing doing it.

    And besides that my more fun villains (for me), are just thrill seeking criminals akin to Black Cat and Catwoman. One's who are criminals and part time heroes. So when GR comes out, I'll have to see how much the game defines the difference between Vigilante and Rogue.

    My main and anothers main, got in a IC discussion on things, at which time I ended it OOCly, because game mechanics are more of the reason things happen in the game than anything else.

    Ie... a group like Wyvern is setup, trying to over-throw Recluse, I really don't think the Longbow is going to attack them as villains, but the game of course goes the route of "you are a villain" whether your concept does or not.

    So, it makes me wonder if they'll be able to set it up so the Longbow won't attack Viglantes in RI, since they wouldn't in Paragon.

    Bad timing.

    I've had them sell for between 5k and over 100k.

    My low 5k ones were with my lvl 50, who I was trying to get the sell inspiration badge with. Where everytime I went in, no one was buying them or they bought them for lower than I was getting on my lvl 2s.

    My lvl 2s were getting 10k-100k a pop.

    Admittedly, I wasn't trying to make money off them anyways. It was just something I noticed when going for the badge.

    *sigh* I swore I logged my Fire/Fire tanker in for year 4 or 5 anniversary badge, as she was my only one left with the year one anniversary badge (altitis and alot of deletions), only to find out later, I never did. :/

    Now, I haven't even bothered to try to keep her up to date on badges, as I missed one on her.
  16. Hmmm...I haven't even bothered to check my auction houses yet. I might have lost something! As such, I'll wait for it to come back up and then check.

    All that said, if they want to take the suggestion of giving every toon 3000 merits, I won't complain. In fact, I can see myself xfering alot of toons to other servers because of this >_>
  17. Tessa Darkart (lvl 50) a Demon/Ghost Hunter and spellcaster. Romanian descent.

    Witch-Hunt (Deleted with plans to remake) Mutant with Energy Manipulation powers who melded with a Khledian, creating to much uncontrolled energy and thusly needing power dampeners. South African descent.

    Both from those respective countries. For them both I picked up a handful of words I figured I'd use often enough in IC talk, that wasn't to distracting (Romanian & Afrikanese) and just added a hint of flavor.

    Like say...hello, goodbye, yes, no, brother, sister...ect. Nothing more than 10 words.

    And my main, while ICly she'd likely learn a bit more about her heritage, when she learns it, isn't likely to all of a sudden start saying Japanese often. Though, as she is reincarnated kitsune, who's had a lapse of remembering of that past life (then forgetting it), I'll likely pick up a few words for her at some point, just to throw out the next time it resurfaces.

    But all in all, for the main it's less of a factor, more so as she doesn't look Japanese at all and remembering her name, she wouldn't come to think it. But one day...one day she'll remember! And maybe I'll have it make an impact.

    That day of course, is when fox tails become a CoH reality.
  18. First thought...why 5 Reactive Armors? For the AOE bonus? Why not Aegis? You lose .63% on Ranged/Melee Defense, but GAIN an additional 3.5% AOE Defense.

    1.25% vs 4.69%

    Now I don't know about the procs in pets. So I'm curious as to why you didn't use them.

    Putting those +Resist/+Defense Procs in Hell on Earth seem teampting to me (but again I don't know MMs to well, though I am enjoying my DS/DM A LOT!).

    I don't know if I'd consider PvP IOs medium cost.

    And last I knew, Vengeance didn't work on Pets, and on a DS/DM build I'm working on, had better defense.

    Also you slotted Vengeance? Put in PvP IOs, but no LotG?

    I will say my opinion is heavily biased since I take Provoke on all my MMs to take full advantage of BG mode.

    So in a nutshell, my opinion is only valid if one takes Provoke & plays in BG mode 99.999% of the time.
    Decent touch of -regen? -500% from Howling Twilight is decent? :O

    You know it's not a PBAOE. You know it's a Targeted AOE.

    And for those who put PBAOE sets in it, they get to keep them in no problem.

    Sooo...how is this a nerf exactly? It's a fix, with nothing happening to the person who slotted the PBAOE set.

  25. Going Demon/Dark MM. It fits the concept of bringing forth nightmares.

    What I can't decide on is the Patron. I love Soul Storm's little visual (glow twirling around the hand)...but what I don't know is if that glow is on the Nightfall and/or Torrent.
