I'd love to see the Crey Pistol get it's recharge reduced! I never really use it, but I'd likely use it more if it's recharge was better than 25 minutes.
I usually just like to wave it around and feel like my melee has a cool looking pistol. -
Quote:You have to do a level 50, Alpha Slot required Taskforce to access the new game engine! :OAt the same panel in which the I20 pre-Beta was announced there was a huge powerpoint graphic that explained it was to test the End Game content.
Divorced from that information, the idea of a signed NDA led people to dream up all sorts of wild ideas about "What could possibly be the reason for A SIGNED NDA??!!!!!!"
The answer: A head start on testing End Game content.
Further speculation is unwarranted unless you want to speculate on what 'End Game content' is. -
Quote:There's reasons to go with all of them.High Dual Blades players.
To vary my play, I have broken out my lvl 50 DB/Regen. He has only common IO's at this point. I love the looks of the DB set, and thinking about starting another DB scrapper.
So for folks who have several DB's or some long term DB's what defensive set do you like or would you have picked differently if you had to do it again.
Was thinking about spending some cash on my present DB, but am thinking that possibly the money might be better spent on another secondary.
I would love to do /Fire, but after my Claws/Fire, I dont think that will be robust enough for me, for the funds I have. I was thinking Elec or possibly the ever popular WP may be the better long term choice.
Any thoughts, regrets on secondaries, or strong reccomendations? Im not sure there are any outstanding synergies with any of them, but I may be missing something. I usually do.
Thanks.
WP is a strong set, easy to buff up the survivability while fitting in enough recharge to get Blinding Feint -> Attack Vitals -> Repeat for those hard targets, while suppling Sweep Combo (or just the AOE attacks) for faster spawn clearing.
WP comes with the advantage of only having the tier 9 being a clickie, so you won't have to click a heal mid combo, and possibly be slow on the continuation of that combo.
That said, enjoying my DB/ELA Brute so far. Will have multiple clickies, but I think it'll be good, by survinging long enough to drain the targets, then killing them off.

The price of LotG: +RCH seems to have gone down a bit, probably due to the ease of people getting them (good thing imo). I can only think other ones have gone a bit.

Not only am I seeing RED, I have a whole lot of family going to see RED.
The previews look great, and look at the cast Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman...ect...ect!
Now the movie just has to live up to the previews! -
Judging from the clip, the movie looks bad, and none of the acting looks good at all.
But then, my question is, is that what they were going for? -
Yup...if sold an extra costume slot, that was universal to all my characters, I could see myself actually buy it. It would depend on the price.

Not like this is the first movie to have someone else play the part intended for someone else.
I would think the part that's interresting about this, is they had already been filming for 5 weeks.
It did seem to lack the energy that Michael J Fox was able to put in on it. -
Quote:Didn't they say for USM, every 100 issues equals 1 year? I can swear I read that somewhere for USM.while i dig the Ultimate comics, at this point my one gripe is to get him the hell out of high school. dammit, it's been almost 150 issues, Pete should at least be a senior by now gorram it!
My guess for villain, Green Goblin! They're going to reboot and start all over! -
I shall make my guess...and go off on a limb and say...Azrael!

Here's my namesake (in current role of KM/WP/Stalker)
F 76 (Monstrous)
A 30 (Remarkable)
S 72 (Monstrous)
E 99 (Unearthly)
R 28 (Remarkable)
I 110 (Unearthly)
P 60 (Amazing)
Seeing this, I can figure (based off knowing my concept and FASERIP)...Agility to low, Strength WAY to high, and Reason is a bit to high.
I'd give the Intuition to her, as based on Heightened Senses (with great Vision as part of the concept), but even then, I'd say it might not be in the Unearthly rank, but rather a bit lower (Wolverine is only at Monstrous ranking after all).
Also, seemed Manuevears and Tactics were left out of areas, inwhich the equivalent powers were left in for Widows/Soldiers, or Focused Accuracy.
Same with Focus (Claws), Focused Burst (Kinetic Melee), were left out of Agility, being ranged attacks.
Still, all in all, was fun to do
Curious why the +Resist Enhancements didn't give a bonus, but the+Defense Enhancements did though. -
Carnie thigh high boots!
Wyvern boots!
Carnie Masks (or have the same mask look, but uses various of the face details...goth, makeup, dark circles, triangle, ect...ect) -
Quote:Wasn't it started more of from the standpoint of Brutes and Scrappers are more survivalable and do more damage than Stalkers, because before Brutes did more damage and were more survivable than Scrappers?Yeah...so I am wondering if we'll see any change in I19 or maybe later. I wonder if they have enough data to support either Stalkers need more team-love or not.
Personally, I don't see a teamming issue per se. You bring a Stalker to the team for what you would bring a Scrapper to the team for...Damage!
At least, I've never looked at bringing a Stalker to the team for Crowd Control or debuffs.
That said, I'm not to sure more damage will work, because of PvP. Playing my Stalker, I still haven't seen Assassin Strike make a noticable increase in DPS, over using the best DPS string I have.
What I have noticed is my Stalker is less survivable than a Scrapper (due to less health), and seems to be doing less damage.
However, barring a few different enemies, and noticing that quite a few AVs seem to have the +perception to see through Hide + Stealth IO, my Stalker does stealth missions better (though my Scrappers tended to beable to just run through them with no worry anyways). -
Quote:I don't think it's something they would announce. I think it's more of something you want and see.Looks like Stalker is not getting another buff or "fix". I haven't seen any dev posting here at all.
So I guess the data mining must show that Stalkers are doing "ok" in the new zone? I've seen quite a few stalkers. I just don't know how many of them stick with stalkers after lvl 20 or 30.
Oh well, right now, I just want them to add critical in epic powers so I can enjoy my throwing star more.
Do you think Stalker will get another team buff or no? There are some good ideas around. -
Quote:To late for that.Maybe they should change it so that you can't slot it with IO's?
Even with the no endurance cost...I still find myself just waiting to attack.
I've slotted Brawl before as a set mule, I can't believe I'm the only one to have done that, so it wouldn't happen. -
Probably not the best at it, but I was doing taking them out just fine solo, with my KM/WP Stalker.
My Guess...FM or ELM/Regen -
Quote:I think Leroy Jethro Gibbs put it best, when McGee had a gun to a killers head, trying to decide if he should just shoot him or not...6. Dangerous Criminal that's often escapes.
My "other" answer here was rather elaborate, but here goes:
- In some states, law enforcement officers are allowed to use lethal force on someone without waiting to actually witness them using lethal force, if that person is considered armed and a substantial risk to the public (often the "armed and dangerous" term that's overused on TV). The rationale is that this person poses a greater immediate threat to society than the risk of killing a person that's still presumed innocent. They don't need to wait to see the gun or see some dangerous action. If they see him, and see the clean shot, they can opt to take it. There's no need for them to risk their own lives further to preseve the target's life, though they certainly can.
The iconic "especially dangerous criminal" is easily categorized this way. Thus, killing such an "especially dangerous criminal" while he's a fugitive would be legal and forgivable.
- HOWEVER- this is when the guy's a fugitive, an escapee, or hasn't been caught yet. When you arrest someone, you assume responsibility for him and his well-being... or some other legal agency has. There are very potent reasons why society would want that protective custody and extemely harmful ramifications if society should ever begin to lose faith in the safety of detention prior to conviction. I would never condone killing a prisoner... no matter how likely it is that he'd break out. (This would also prohibit me from forced chemical/physical/psychic programming or torture)
I'd put rather lethal mechanics in place to help pursue him, should he escape... I'd make the prisoner believe that the only reason he's alive is because of that protective cover-- and that, should he opt to leave it-- he wouldn't be granted it ever again, and would never escape his pursuers. He would be hunted. If he opts to leave that protection, there would be no leave granted. If he stays in that protective custody, and society judges him and doesn not sentence him to the penalty of death while under their custody, neither should I.
...whether I'd go so far as give him "opportunities to escape" that were nothing more than lethal traps... well... gray areas get dark quickly.
"McGee, if you wanted to kill him, you should of done it while he was running." -
Wouldn't a well built Elec/SD beable to have a solid (thought not the best) single target attack chain?
Not to mention, have more AOE, for the riff-raff you're most likely to see?
That said, the Dark Melee would have Drain Life for added survivability.
But back to that Electric Melee, you have all that Knockdown!
Basically...you can't go wrong with your choice!
I think Elm/SD is likely to be the more fun choice in playing however. -
I feel the need to run out and search for these Icons I've never heard of! /o/
