Best Build For Farming Sirens Hotspots?
As a hero or villain? That will determine if your'e fighting Longbow or Arachnos spawns.

Either really, Id like to farm those hotspots for lvl 30 recipes, and there is always a HUGE mob at those hot spots. I have a DM/Ice tank that can survive the hotspot mob, but it takes Soooo long to kill them. So i need something that can survive and wipe them out quicker.
Probably not the best at it, but I was doing taking them out just fine solo, with my KM/WP Stalker.
My Guess...FM or ELM/Regen

Just curious - why would you farm PVE mobs in a PVP zone?
I initially came to the threat thinking there was some way to farm PVP IOs, which would've been awesome.

If your side is in control of the zone you can buy useful temp powers from the vendor. If the other side is in control you can't buy anything at all from it.
And the more zone control battles you win, the more temp powers you get access to.
That said, Silverado probably has it right on this one. You want a character that can both kill the NPCs AND survive any attacks from enemy players, and Fire/Regen is one of the better builds for that, especially at the level you are exemped to.
Edit: just saw that it was already answered. My answer is still a valid reason to kill the mobs in Siren's Call though. But that's teh only zone killing NPCs has that effect in.

REMEMBER!!!!!!!! That Mobs can knock off ANY toggle in a PVP zone that dmgs or Debuffs them. RTTC, Hot Feet, AAO, Arctic Air, Chocking Cloud, ETC all can be untoggled in PVP zones. So That being said, which would be a good build for it? |

you're trying to ask PvEr's about pvp? even pve'ing in a pvp environment?
that makes about as much sense as wanting to pve in a pvp environment
Off the top of my head I can't think of any sets that benefit overall, but there are some powers that deal quite a bit more damage in PvP zones to due their animation times. I think pool power attacks are the best example, but I know there are other primary/secondary set powers that get a bonus to damage as well. So PvE'ing does make a little bit of sense, especially if the server is low pop and you get few interruptions.

for instance, in pvp, the KM t9, Concentrated strike, does on average 800 damage excluding procs on another player (horribly broken and wont get fixed, but thats a different story). on a pve target in zone, it'll do the same damage it would in pve.
the big difference is you still have all the stuff that hinders your defensive ability i.e. heal decay, travel supression, DR on your defenses. so PvEing in a pvp zone, even with your powers working the same way in terms of damage, is made exponentially harder for no extra reward. theres no sense in it.
also, the fact that you didn't know this, basically proves my point that asking pver's about pvp anything is just as completely and utterly pointless as PvEing in a pvp zone.
