I would recommend Ice or Stone. Mostly Ice though. Ice has Ice Blast, Frost Breath AND Ice Storm. That's a lot of damage if you ask me and if you don't want to take hibernate you can take hoarfrost.

Imho you need Hibernate for a stormie sometimes. I not only used it as a panic button I also used it when I was flat out of end.
there is no Hoarfrost in the troller version of ice mastery, unless mids is wrong??
  2. Cant decide on Epic Power for plant/storm on fire ambush maps. should i go fire or ice mastery?

Fire: fireball charges faster for aoes, and fire shield has 20 resist

Ice: has 10% fire resist, Ice Storm w recharge 120sec, and hibernation, but i dont think i'll need to hibernate. I just wanna keep the attacks going.

    Ughhh tough choice

Spout is awesome, though. Leviathan all the way if those are your two choices. I mean, +40% hp sounds cool and all, but as a Plant/Storm I can't help but think that if things are able to attack you heavily as opposed to flailing around helplessly in a stew of all kinds of summoned nonsense then things have already gone horribly wrong and +40% hp will not be enough.
Well after slotted its 80%hp, AND with +rech it stacks so u can get it to 160% hp, also earth has a nice shield and a +kb aoe dmg attack. But the waterspout does have nice base Dmg, So im torn on the decision, would any other epic pool be a better choice?
  4. So which Epic would you recommend Stone or Leviathan? Waterspout + Tornado sounds impressive on damage, But Earths Embrace + 40% hp seems so much more survivable. BTW does waterspout get containment bonus?

Did the same, same thing is happening to me.
  6. Looking for combo that can sap real quick then go in for the kill. I don't want to spend all day saping.

    kin/elec - Def
    Elec/Psi - Dom
Elec/Therm - Troller (thinking this would be best)
    Elec/Elec - Dom
    Elec/kin - Corr
    Elec/Therm - Corr
Feel Free to add to this list.....

  8. I would like to make a Earth/Storm/leviathan to farm S/L Ambush AE Farm. Think this is possible?

    Tactics in Theory:

    1) Use Stalagmites + Thunder Clap , Perma-Stun mob
    2) Stone Cages to clump immob and add -kb to stop the KB from pets
    3) Drop Mutilple Tornado's + Water Spout + Lighting Storm, For Damage
    4) Drop Freezing Rain & -res Procs to add to the damage

I'm hopeful that there is enough mitigation from all the stuns + Fear from Tornado & Waterspout, and taunt coming from Animated Stone to keep me safe, also +60 S/L resist from Tough+Shark Skin.

Will there be enough Damage from pets to farm like this? Mids says:

Tornado - 829 Damage, 7ft Aoe (You can put TWO of this out at once)
Waterspout - 561 Damage, 7ft Aoe (Has + 14 sec stun to add with all the others)
    Lightning Storm - 82 Damage
    Animated Stom - ??? Damage

Enough Damage to farm with? Your Thoughts??
  9. I'm talking about the Damage aura on the tornado, Mids says AOE on Tornado is 20ft, But I seen post that says it has a "small" pbaoe damage aura. Does anyone know how big the damage aura is on tornado? does it hit alot of mobs at once? or just one?

Why Does everyone say Elec is low damage?
    I Have a 50 Elec/FF/stone troller and it breezes +3 x8 farms SOLO.
On Teams I normaly out damage eveyone else, AND usually the only toon left standing on Ambush farms. I didn't even pick up Static Field, I plan on it after respec. it'll prolly even do better.

Gremlins die in first few seconds of battle, I only use them to clean up near end of the battle since I'm all AOE's.

The Purp Confuse Proc works like a charm. and when it jumps, it'll jump to a Unconfused mob and 30% aoe confuse each jump. very nice.
  11. I hear that a proc in Conductive Aura targets BOTH you and the enemy when using "Performance Shifter: Chance for +End", So my question is.....

If you get +recovery "Per" target. Making ME a target per enemy up to 8 times" Does that mean "Performance Shifter: Chance for +End" can fire "per" target every ten seconds to me? Much like the "Theft of Essance: Change for +End" does in Dark Regeneration???

    Procs either;

    1) Have a chance to Proc on the target
    2) Have a chance to Proc on the caster.

Performance Shifter is an example of (1) it has a proc chance on the target. As has been said, in CA, there are 2 EndMod flagged targets. 1 is you, so theres a proc chance for you, and 1 is every enemy in your aura (up to its max size)
Soooo CA you get +recovery "Per" target. Making ME a target per enemy up to 8 times" Does that mean "Performance Shifter: Chance for +End" can fire "per" target every ten seconds to me? Much like the "Theft of Essance: Change for +End" does in Dark Regeneration???

Either really, Id like to farm those hotspots for lvl 30 recipes, and there is always a HUGE mob at those hot spots. I have a DM/Ice tank that can survive the hotspot mob, but it takes Soooo long to kill them. So i need something that can survive and wipe them out quicker.
  14. Looking for a good build that would be able to solo farm Sirens Hotspots.

    REMEMBER!!!!!!!!
That Mobs can knock off ANY toggle in a PVP zone that dmgs or Debuffs them.
RTTC, Hot Feet, AAO, Arctic Air, Chocking Cloud, ETC all can be untoggled in PVP zones.

So That being said, which would be a good build for it?

    pvp bubbler?

I Have a FF/Sonic that i solo PVP with. Best PvP toon i have at this moment. 400 rep, SOLO mostly in Sirens. Force Bubble is WAY more powerful then even imagined.

    Pros
    1) Unhides stalkers - just pop Force bubble up, run around and find all the stalkers.
    2) Keeps Most melee toons off you. with exception of WP And Electric. which i don't run into that much. wp a little more but not a problem.
    3) It's kill MM easy button. first PFF and force bubble up. jump next to mm, drop your pff and ur force bubble sends the henchmen flying away from mm leaving him without BG mode and alone to kill.

    Cons
    4) DOms Doms Doms, they drop your forcebubble quite easy and take away your best defences.

With sonic -res you can take out brutes, stalkers, corrs and mm's fast. I always have problems with Doms though.

The Defense works nice in pve, but crap in pvp. I don't even use dispersion bubble in PvP, PFF will give you just enough to jump away and click aid self when you land.

Here's what you're getting with SR and Ninjitsu:

SR: More defense debuff resistance, 20% recharge buff, in-set knockback protection, scaling resists (largely worthless on a low-HP character in PvP).

Nin: Stackable psi resistance from Kuji-in Rin, fear resistance, good self-heal, cone confuse/sleep/-percep/-tohit power.

The only reason to go with SR over Nin is if you're a cheap ******* and don't want to buy -KB IOs.
hmmm. How much does DDR play in PvP???
  17. Well anyway, there is a ss/wp brute named zylo that i seen take on 4 heros at once and win. so there gotta be some builds that can ward off multiple attackers, cause i have seen a few AT's with heros all over them like they was a AV or GM and barley putting a scratch on them.

    Yeah In RV not Sirens.
Forgot the first attack is a crit. so that'll be +1500 dam in less than 10 secs.

AND if your talking RV then we can add MOG

    120% defense
    75% resist
for 15 secs, i'm sure you can kil a few in that time, and when the 15 sec are over, you still have +70% defense

Don't Forget there's a 600 hp heal you can pop every 30 secs.

    Ain't killing no one?
    BU........dmg.....sec
    Divine = 222.....2sec
    placate...........2sec
    divine = 222.....2sec
    Golden Dragon = 340...2sec
    divine = 222

over 1000 dmg in 10 secs, and adds a 74% to defense at the same time
  20. Looking for something that can jump right in that "Hero Huddle" and not get floored before getting a few kills or soon as i enter the huddle. Pop in with a big hit then scrap it out till target is dead. I Mostly PVP in Sirens and there's a big huddle of hero's.

I have a shield Brute that has great defense. hero's miss a lot, but no heals to recover the HP. so running away is my only option. which I DON'T WANT.

I'm thinking maybe a NB/Regen Stalker, You'd be able to hit Dull pain + IH, then your attack chain BU+Divine+Placate+Divine that should give you over +45% defense while the regen is working at 1576% that's 150 hp per sec. Hero's prolly wont run when in a huddle. especially if its a scrapper or tank.

Whats your thought and Build ideas for a Hero Huddle Busting AT?
