Conductive Aura+Procs
Quote:
There is no such thing as a "self-benefitting proc". All procs have a chance to fire on the target of the power. For a while you could slot the end mod stun in stamina and stun yourself. Right now if you put performance shifter's proc into an electric attack, it gives stamina to the enemy.
Does putting self-benefiting procs (chance for +heal, chance for +endurance) in Conductive Aura work? Mids implies that it grants the healing/endurance to the baddies around me, and I want to know if that's a glitch in Mids or a warning not to even try it.

Read the power carefully to see who the target is.

I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.
save that CA got two "target"
the mob you sape and yourself taht get the + recovery
so "read who the target is" is not a good advice in this case
since the power has both enemy and self for target, my best guess would be that the performance shifter proc would affect both the targets and self since both target and self have an end mod component

Slight innacuracy.

Procs either;
1) Have a chance to Proc on the target
2) Have a chance to Proc on the caster.
Performance Shifter is an example of (1) it has a proc chance on the target. As has been said, in CA, there are 2 EndMod flagged targets. 1 is you, so theres a proc chance for you, and 1 is every enemy in your aura (up to its max size)
Call of the Sandman is an example of (2), this proc has a chance to affect whomever casts the sleep power. Lets look at the sleep power. This proc gives a chance to heal you when you cast the power, and then has a proc chance to heal the speduopet as it pulses it's heal, so here its a fairly useless proc.
But the flags of affect on the power are important too! lets look at Panacea, its a heal set, and the proc has a chance to heal/give endurance the target, so its a (1). In Conductive Aura, will it function like performance shfter? No, because CA doesnt affect health of the enemy, just yours. So this proc is safe to have in this power, only ticking on you.
Thanks Mega_Jamie, that was an excellent explanation.

Soooo CA you get +recovery "Per" target. Making ME a target per enemy up to 8 times" Does that mean "Performance Shifter: Chance for +End" can fire "per" target every ten seconds to me? Much like the "Theft of Essance: Change for +End" does in Dark Regeneration???
Slight innacuracy.

i want to say no, because its a toggle and it just affects the numbers based on whos around you. But i havnt tried it.
