  1. If you only have the one porter room I'd suggest Pocket D and Cap. Pocket D can get you to PO, Shark and St.M while Cap can get ya to Mercy, PO, Shark, Nerva, St.M and Grand.
  2. Would be nice though. Having several toons with 30+ tokens and nothing to do with them while there are plenty of people that love to make costumes constantly out there that could use them.
  3. True. You have reason to question it and I will have try to record it. One thing I will say though, it was a scanner mish of freakshow and there were only up to 5 enemies at a time when we tried it.

    Sarrate linked a post from Castle a few weeks back from a post he made a couple of years ago recanting his original statements on how agro worked in CoH.

    Apparently damage does add to the threat scale, but only in extreme situations/amounts as it applies to overriding taunt effects (if I remember correctly).

    Basically the gist of it was if a taunt is the only effect being applied (a single taunt effect with no damage or repetition such as Taunt from range) while extreme amounts of damage are being applied to the target from another source, the taunt effect can be overridden.

    But the example he gave was fairly extreme and not one practically run across in the game on the norm.

    I tested just this to see. I was on a SD/DM tanker and my friend was on a BS/SD scrapper. Neither of us had taunt slotted in AAO and we tried a few scenario's.

    From what we've tried, with him running AAO and attacking he could pull aggro off of me(only one at the time mind you). Even though I was taunting and attacking his greater output of dmg was keeping aggro on him. It could be different if I slotted taunt in AAO and more taunt in taunt. I just may have to try that out tommorow.

  7. If it's any consolation, mid's is slightly off when it comes to dmg from attacks. So I'd say a dev created version would be really nice since it would be more accurate.

    Dwarf mire does only last 10seconds but it is nice. Generally it's just like you stated: tp in, mire, shift to human, mire, shift to nova while taking a hop backwards and destroy all. You can go just human/nova but dwarf's higher resists will soak up the alpha that may kill you in human form.

    I do like dwarf though for the heal, extra resistance and of course mire. I'd say stick it out for a bit till you can get Eclipse then you can decide whether or not you want to drop dwarf. When you get Eclipse you can tp into the group, hit eclipse then the aformentioned combo.
  9. Meh. I hope we would get something better than MA slots. It would be just like the vet costume tokens to me.... unused. I wish we could sell/trade those dang things because I'd be rich just from selling them since my main has 39 of them. Ok that was slightly off track but I guess I could see giving out MA slots here and there for the ones that love to create AE mishs.

    Sure it may be the closest but it's still not a healer. It has several other powers that, for the most part, are more useful than the heals. This game hopefully will never have such restricting roles such as most MMO's. All the powersets we have available to us allows us to build our toons in a variety of ways unlike being stuck in one class.

    When it comes to nonset IO'd toons, I always put one Acc SO or one generic Acc IO. I tend to slot lvl25 generic IO's on all my toons past 22 and get by just fine. When I slot sets, I try to fit in a little bit of +Acc but only if there's nothing else I want.

    K just recently got a tanker to 41, def to 36 and a blaster to 31. Ohh and not by PL'ing them either since I dun have any 50 heroes over there.

    There really isn't a big need to find a team in Atlas since you out level that zone fairly quickly. I've been playing a good bit recently on virtue and still have been able to get on sewer teams even with the farm spam.

    The /bc spam is slightly annoying and should be in a seperate channel. Saying report all farms at first then saying farm in private doesn't make sense. I like farming since it is something that allows me to enjoy the game and no I don't bc lfm or fill requests either. I do agree that noobs shouldn't farm but it's kind of hard to tell who's a noob and who isn't at first glance since there are plenty of people out there with plenty of vet badges that don't know what they are doing.

    I never had any problems with any dom I've ever made once I learned how to play them. From the little I have tested, I am not impressed with the changes.

    Edit: Perhaps I should take a slot from Active Defense, swap out CP for OwtS, put the slot into that, put a generic Resist IO in Deflection and slot OwtS with the +def proc and two Impervium Armors. That way, I'll pick up extra recov plus I'll be at 84% resist to smash/lethal when OwtS is up.
