Free tailor token with each costume unlock
Not really a big deal IMO. Costume change tokens are almost a dime a dozen in this game. Each issue usually gives each character on your account tokens for each costume slot they've unlocked. Also tokens are awarded very frequently as vet rewards in the first 2 years of gameplay.

I just dont see the need as free costume tokens come so often in the vet program.

Fair points, but I was just thinking of examples like... those of us who have just started the game, or are low on inf, et cetera. It might be a nice little boon, you know?

It would, but it would nullify the rewards of being a veteran in the first few months, when CC tokens make up the majority of those rewards, giving new players just a little less incentive to keep playing.

I really don't see even more costume tokens being necessary. With very little effort, any character can easily make enough inf by level 20 to afford any costume modification.
Selling all of you drops at the market can easily make you 250k-10mil.
Yeah I can see what you all mean - I guess it would be fairly easy to pay for your own costumes nowadays... if this were several issues ago, maybe, but it isn't. My bad on the redundant post.

I'd fully support 1 free token for each unlocked costume piece, though. Seems kind of bizarre that you'd have to pay for what is implied to be a found or given item.

That or give one with the aura and/or cape mission.
I've already got more costume tokens on many characters than I know what to do with.
I would love if something was done about the level 10 costume slot that SoAs can unlock, be it a 50% coupon or a "new" costume that retains your scales.
If I didn't have a pile of tokens from vet rewards, I wouldn't have been able to use the slot thanks to the hair, face/head shape, face and other little details not being carried from the first to second slots. Those things cost -a lot- to fix for a lowbie...

I think VEATs are more in desperate need of a second "epic costume" slot than this, honestly.

I say /signed to the suggestion. Not because it's needed, or even that useful. But because costume tokens are given away like candy already, I don't think more will hurt.
What I would really like to see is the ability to sells ads of the various Paragon Companies(Architect Entertainment, Crey Industries) on my costume in exchange for them paying for my costume change. For example, in order to get Crey to pay for your costume change you would have to wear their logo for 10 hours of in game time.
I just wish we could sell/trade costume tokens as it is...

Didn't they use to do this, back before vet rewards? Then they took em out?

No. They never have tied free tokens to unlocking a new slot.

Would be nice though. Having several toons with 30+ tokens and nothing to do with them while there are plenty of people that love to make costumes constantly out there that could use them.

I do like this idea no matter how unnecessary it is.You can never have too many costume tokens.I would support this idea.

[/ QUOTE ]You didn't get free tokens when doing anything in-game. Tokens were granted by the devs, that's it.

Hey all,
So my friend came up with an idea that I think is really neat and could be useful. Mostly just a QoL feature, but it'd be nice to have as much as many QoL features are, eh? Onto the point...
@Fragment of Nothing came up with the idea of issuing a free costume change/tailor visit token every time you unlock a new costume slot. So say you turn in your Halloween salvage, or hit level 10 and do the SoA costume arc, or just do your costume mission and grab your 2nd/3rd/onwards costume slots. Maybe one for your aura/cape mission, or at least a 25-50% discount token...?
I know it may not seem necessary, especially at low levels, but you can save the tokens for later anyways - there will be times when a costume token is useful!
Let us know what you think.
