I try to run at least 2 TFs a night if I can. Look me up at @Bookkeeper Jay and watch the Infinity TF channels.

Pouches and packs on the many Soldier NPCs and even on the Soldier pets.

If the OP is saying 'The game is too hard to solo!'....uh....no. No it's not. It really isn't.
The game is definitely not hard solo as ANYONE will tell you, especially Techbot.
Inspirations are your friend. They're cheap and fun to use. Got an EB? Chew some purples and crush his skull. -
My luck with BAF is the opposite. Commons every time. Threads for Lambda, though. My Brute never gets anything below Rare. Frustrates me.
-
I was also disappointed at the lack of Midas and lack of any real fleshing out of the Legacy Chain.
-
Just as the title says, I wouldn't mind seeing both the hero and the villain Ouroboros getting a respective Mender or Acolyte that allows them to change their difficulty settings while in Ouroboros.
-
They hate Masterminds. Common knowledge around here.
-
I'll have to opt out of this one. Father's birthday is tomorrow, and I definitely won't miss it. Sorry, guys!

People get bent out of shape easily. Just smile and nod.
-
Make pet damage count as your damage.
Make pets spawn at base level 50 in iTrials. -
FF Gen gives higher values than Dispersion Bubble.
-
Asking them to re-visit anything even remotely related to PvP is like asking them to re-visit old zones. It's a dream only.

Quote:I respectfully disagree.
The suggested changes hardly make up for the lack of recharge intensive pet slots, all the above does is make serum a power you might use occasionally, RIP slotting gives you permanent bonuses you can use all the time.
This is all opinion, I understand, but mercs suffer from poor survivability, and RIP slots provide a very solid bonus.
As I said, you're only looking for a quick dump for the Pet Uniques. -
Just to point out your logic in /Traps...
Yes, Poison Trap is very powerful. There is no denying that. However, depending upon the situation -- be it solo or teamed -- I find Caltrops to be more and more useful as I go along. The thing with Traps, is that you have to think of yourself as a Foward Base. In all aspects, you are a forward base, be it for your teams or for your pets. That doe snot mean that you are weak unless you set up. Caltrops exists for a reason, a very, very good reason: the fear component. People overlook this, especially with Provoke being thrown into the equation. The mitigation is staggering, especially on enemies seeking to close the melee gap.
EDIT: That aside, this is a very, very good start. -
You are coorect. They changed that shortly after (or maybe before) power customization. Needless to say, my Merc/Dark was sad.
-
Preparing for the Shadow Shard, Johnny?
-
Quote:Hmmm, I think replacing serum with a recharge intensive pet like auto turret would work better than anything you could do to serum.
Very debatable.
Serum Revamped- Increase damage modifier to 50%
- Increase ToHit values to 35%
- Increase damage resistance values to 62.5% vs. all except Psi
- Add in a taunt modifier equivalent to gauntlet, if not more so
- Remove the crash
- Reduce recharge to 10mins
- Add a recovery resistance modifier
- Add superadine effect (slight transformation, Merc gets very beefy)
- Able to be used on players, but with 1/3 and or 1/2 the original values (this means 1/3 and or 1/2 the unenhanced values) and no gauntlet effect
-
Quote:I think the choice of HO/four shards/53 merits is fair compensation.
Although I think that adding 20 threads (the equivalent of a common component) would be very welcome.
For the Hamidon? I'm only talking about the puny shard reward, not the borked Merit reward. If I wanted merits I'd run something else. 4 shards is not worth it. At all. Really. -
So I was playng around in Mids and came up with this

Well, why not have both a Shard and Thread reward option?
24 shard reward / 24(48?)hr Cooldown
150 thead reward / 24(48?)hr Cooldown
Or am I aiming too low? -
Quote:They honestly need incarnate mode for all tfs and trials. Atleast the level 50 stuff. A mode that increases the difficulty, bumps everything up to level 54, adds thread drops instead of shards, enables a random component reward and allows use of all level shifts.
Would be more interesting than running the trials, that's for sure. -
You're seeing this all wrong here, my man. I'm talking from the ground up. End game you can put barrier on Auto and watch your Incarnate little fuzz balls tear it up with practically anything.
