    Necroposting

I'm not a mod here, but as a rule of thumb, I consider necroposting on the forums I run when you "resurrect" a thread that has been inactive for more than 3 months. Anything other than that is fair game for a repost. Of course, on forums with high traffic, I guess that would be a far too long margin.

Please, please, please for the love of all that is shiny related, don't say it was easy just because you were able to get it under 2 weeks. For some of us it's going to be a long ride of a grind fest.

And no, no more badges in this tree. Having to grind for 50 runs is bad enough as it is.

Contrary to popular belief I am not rabid.
  5. Thanks for the invite and heads up Master Z, but as I've explained on the other thread, I'll pass on this. Good luck with it.

Add to this a week or two of free server transfers so I can ship some of my alts to NA servers and awards us Passport badge and my joy would be complete.
    *cough*
  8. I actually find it amusing that people use blanket statements like the ones in the OP and assume everyone's play experience is the same.

Inf may be plentiful for you but it sure as heck isn't for me. I've been trying to finish my two main builds for close to a year now and I'm always scraping for more Inf. Some of us don't have those mega valuable drops coming out of the yin yang or play the market. Or want to, for that matter. So why should we be penalized?

Horrid suggestion, unless it would be an optional thing in which case I'd have nothing against it.
  9. I've read your pamphlet and would like to know more.
  10. That's probably the boat that takes you to the other side of IP on a scenic tour.
Wonder if it's full of sea men.

What, someone had to do it.
  11. Interesting that you define a priori that the EU players would be the ones who would be forced to change their handles. And then label people with such colourful monikers.

Ah, you crazy NAers... (see what I did there?)
  12. Yes, tears come to my eyes too, but not for the same reasons...

Unleash the savage beast you've always wanted with OVER 60 new costume parts and patterns! Prowl the streets of Paragon City as a ferocious cheetah, stalk your way through the Rogue Isles as a bestial wolf, soar the skies of Praetoria as an eagle or lumber your way around as a monstrous minotaur. With new customizable heads, details, patterns, legs, and tails, you can go wild with possibilities!

The Animal Booster also includes new emotes, new auras, four costume change emotes, and the Beast Run travel power, which will let your animal alter ego leap and bound through City of Heroes on all fours!

We'll be shedding more information soon, but for now check out our latest trailer that should get you howling with anticipation!
Thanks a lot, it's really cute and stuff and I can see a rush of Thundercat toons being created in the near future.
Pity it's all predators, feline and otherwise, and one mythical creature. Was pining for a rodent head. Ah well, guess I'll have to make do with what there is for my 14 rabbit/hare toons.

    Nice work as always guys!
  14. Thanks guys. Now all you need to do is update Sentinel so that the export build feature works with the Alpha slot instead of producing an error.
  15. Ah, so all will be restored at 11:00 UTC?
  16. Same. And as a side effect, it isn't automagically updating. [sad wabbit face]
  17. You do know there are already Reputation adjusters in game just for people like you who like a more meaty challenge? Go talk to one and crank it up to max rep and as if there were 2 people in team. That will give you the feeling of epic.

No ghosting to the end though.

    Char Copy down?

Dudes! C'mon! This is getting ridiculous! One week has passed and it is still down!
Does anyone even come in here and read this at all?
  19. I have lots but can't remember any.
    What was the question again?
  20. Uuh... no. Thanks but not everyone of us likes to fight EB/AV. I like my challenges at Boss level.
  21. Yup, I always stop my XP at 9, 14 and 19 so I don't outlevel any of the contacts in Praetoria. This way I can do full resistance/loyalist arcs or if I'm so inclined, both sides at the same time.

In the case of a character I decked out with an Rare Musculature, they'll only gain maybe 4-5% more damage moving up to a Very Rare, if my numbers are right. Unless the Very Rares are sporting a +2 Level Shift (un-freakin' likely) it seems very anticlimactic considering how much more the Very Rares require.

IMO, they're just not worth it unless the Very Rares ignored ED completely or granted an additional level shift or something.

My DM/Regen already has a 5 second gap in Dull Pain, and he's only got the uncommon Spiritual boost. With rare and very rare, Dull Pain will be perma easily.

I had expected the very rare to give a +2 level shift. But given that there are 10 total slots coming out that seems excessive especially if all of them gave level shifts.

IMO, most likely we'll get another Shift with the Omega slot and that'll be it.

Really guys? From what I've read in forums, site, Dev interviews and Meet & Greet stuff, the Incarnate stuff is supposed to get you from 50 to 60 (via level shifts). To me that spells one (1) level shift per slot.

Rare or Very Rare apply one (1) level shift only, that is Rare makes you 50+1 and Very Rare also makes you 50+1.

I am expecting one level shift per Incarnate slot introduced. You're supposed to be an Incarnate, able to wipe the floor with 16 AVs at the same time, not an amoeba flailing around.

In regards to the OP, welcome to the wonderful world of gated content: from the people who brought you 1 AMerit per 2 days (or 20 hrs) and such things as 1 common Incarnate component per 20 hrs (I'm looking at you G'rai Matter) comes the one Very Rare Incarnate Alpha Slotâ„¢ per month!!! Rejoice! (all sales final, no warranty supplied, merchandise as is).

    You'll learn to like it.
  23. Precisely my delectable succubus type person.
  24. Not only working as intended, it was also explained it would be so. That's what prompted me to cycle through alignments during the Halloween event so I could get the correct versions of the badges.
