Came home for lunch. Pulling the trigger on this build as per the last post. Looks good enough. And I wanna fly!

I run +2/x8 right now since I'm farming. +4/x8 is for when I'm feeling mean.

Oh... that's taking it from Lucky. If I take it from dodge instead: I stay at 46% melee def gain the regen, and lose the 10 HP. That I could see doing.
Side note: I'm worrying about the loss of shockwave. That's a LOT of mitigation I'm giving up and I won't know until I do it whether keeping enemies close for spin/eviscerate will increase death dealing time enough to cover that loss of mitigation.
EDIT: Oh hell... thanks Sarrate. Having me look at the passives made me realize that I had only slotted 4 of the 5 LotG +recharges I have. Hmm.
Put the 5th set of LotGs into Agile.
Dropped lucky to a single basic IO.
Melee: 46.7
Ranged: 45.9
AoE: 44.1
This is still without turning on Hover.
28.9 regen
1842.6 HP

And if I find that I'm overkill on recovery, I can always 3 slot phys perf with 3 miracles, too. -

Howdy my brothers and sisters in scrapping,
After a bit of soul searching, and not finding one, I decided that the days of Bill Z not flying needed to come to an end. I had planned to wait until I got the 60 month vet badge but that's too far off and I'm itching to respec.
My current playstyle with Bill has shown me that for the time being, it's time to dump shockwave and go with eviscerate.
The build has the following points going for it:
Softcapped without turning on hover
26.5 HP/sec regen
1848 HP (a lost of about 20 HP from my current build)
3.91end/sec recovery without clicking on conserve power
17% S/L DR
95% recharge buff with hasten removed from the build
12.5 global damage buff
Mids isn't showing me any overslotting.
The attack chain for this build for hard single targets is Followup, Slash, Focus, Eviscerate. If I did the math correctly, I should be pushing 205 DPS. (fingers crossed)
Followup has a chance for buildup
Slash has a chance for dam-res debuff
Focus has a chance for buildup
Eviscerate has a chance for dam-res debuff

Defense -0.2 for 10s (after 120 second delay) [Ignores Enhancements & Buffs]
I'm mostly sure that the "Ignores Enhancements and Buffs" portion of that also means "unresistable."
I wouldn't even TAKE rage on an SS/SR brute until I knew that it would stack and avoid the defense debuff.
Otherwise, you're asking for a death sentence or tucking your tail and running before every crash. Either choose is silly. -

I love this game. I love 90% of what it offers and how it functions, but this split-market idiocy has to go away. -
EG, I'm betting that the best outcome you'd possibly get is for PCs to give the same chances of recipe/enhancement/purple drops as NPCs. Merits are too easily farmable.
A 1 in 5000 chance to get a purple off of another player doesn't seem to bad. -
Just in case someone gets confused by that last point:
A Vigilante can travel to the Rogue Isles, and can team up with the Villains there. They can not use the markets while they are there however. They must be a full Villain to use the markets.
A Rogue can travel to Paragon City, and can team up with the Heroes there. They can not use the markets while they are there however. They must be a full Hero to use the markets.
Vigilantes can still use Wentworths. Rogues can still use the Black Market.
/end clarity rewrite and please correct me if I'm mistaken.
Followup question: What market will Praetorians use when they are starting the game in Praetoria for 20 levels? -

The hyperbole is strong with this one. Took me 100 hours to solo my brute reroll from 0-50. He's already got 90% of the IOs he needs for his final respec including the 5 of 6 armageddons I plan to slot. (Clarity: I have the 5 I plan to slot. Don't need the 6th.)
This doomcyring about the death of redside is even more stupid than the doomcrying about GR killing off AT X, Y and Z. -
I thought Ouroboros and Pocket D looked like the Shard because the devs used the existing floaty-open space maps instead of creating new ones.

They can't. The engine can't handle it. They could use that to get around this fact but won't because BAB can't animate that.

A team of 8 for a TF has spawns for a team of 8 whether you have the 4XP system set to x1 or x8.
If you're bumping the level of the foes to +2 for reward... it does nothing for reward, just makes the TF harder and longer.
So, the 4XP system applied to TFs has little to do with greater rewards.
A +2 minion gives more XP/inf than a +0 minion.
