Revalation about the Shard
I thought Ouroboros and Pocket D looked like the Shard because the devs used the existing floaty-open space maps instead of creating new ones.
Be well, people of CoH.

Shhh...
Well, it's established in canon (by Manticore) that Pocket D has nothing to do with the Shard. DJ Zero just ripped a hole in space/time with his super powers to generate his own pocket dimension from nothing, and built a night club there.

Which was the most logical thing a person could do.

I somehow don't feel that "your vehicle will tumble in a weightless, endless void for all times" is a better alternative to the common parking metre.

Parking fees can be huge. As long as it can be retrieved later i'm okay with the weightless tumbling. (Though if i was in Paragon i'd be driving an indestructible* electric/fusion car, so the lack of gravity wouldn't be as messy as it could be for a standard internal combustion engine.)

*The indestructible option is apparently standard for Paragon cars while being driven; it's just when you park them that they can get broken. A weightless void where violence is proscribed is the perfect parking solution.
Dr. Todt's theme.
i make stuff...
I would expect the answer to turn out to be that nothing in our lives would change.

That's just the helium delivery truck. Ever wondered why gravity applies to us but not it when we get to step outside the club?
Ouroboros looks like the Shadow Shard?

Nemesis is trying to seize the divinity of the unbroken Rularuu at the end of time in Ouroborous. DJ Zero is the only man who stands against Nemesis and infinite power.

At the bottom of what? Space?
A Shadow Shard with an infinite blue ocean. Maybe it's waaaaaayy down at the bottom.

REading through several other threads and some wiki entries and just thinking about stuff I came to this. The story information behind the aspects of Rularuu and all that read very much like mythology. What if the story of the Shadow Shard unravelled by players is actually a history warped by time? What if the Shard is not an alternate dimension, but the future? The far flung future, after the coming storm? Perhaps the coming storm rends the univers apart at it's very core, seperating and conflicting it's aspects to create the Shadow Shard?
It would explain why Oroboros looks so much like the Shard.
