  1. Staff/WP is the way to go. You will have the resist, regen and some defense with WP, but the main I like it is because of the heal and High Pain Tolerance that will help you help out with the new HP changes.
  2. Please just give us Dominator assault powers as a primary and Buffs/Debuffs secondary(or flip flop primary/secondary). I would love to play a Thorn Assault/Poison or a Cold/Icy Assault Character.

  4. I have a feeling if you make it a Dark Team that any AT can join with at least one dark ability, you will have more replies. I might make a Dark/Shield scrapper to join, but I don't get out of class until 9:20pm est on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Even an all Dark Blaster/Corrupter/Defender/Dom/Troller would be nice.
  5. I have a Shield/SS tanker and he does well. Foot Stomp is your only AoE from the melee set and you do not get it until lvl 38. I have never played a Titan Weapon, but from what I have seen they have have some nice cone attacks and a PBAoE. TW cannot be played with shield so I guess a Elec Tanker with TW is a good choice. I do have a DM/Shield Brute with Soul Mastery and with the combination of debuffs and shield defense it would make a great tanker combo. My favorite part of the DM is the self heal that makes up for not having one in the primary set.
  6. Build a Energy Aura Brute. With the changes to the set it has become one of my favorites.
  7. Isnt there a sprint Prestige Power sprint with a rainbow effect? Can you combine it with a Ninja run?

I also think Mace Melee with the Irish Shillelagh would be nice and a secondary would be a SR since they are hard to grab.

    Agreed...

    Or a Human form Peacebringer
  10. The one with the best PvP skill will win.
  11. I dont know why, but I really want to play a control primary with a defensive secondary. Call the AT Crowd Control.

    1. Single target immob melee
    2. Single target hold melee
    3. Powerbuild Up
    4. PBAoE immob melee
    5. Taunt
    6. Single Target Fear
    7. PBAoE Stun Melee
    8. PBAoE Hold Melee
    9. Single Companion Pet(Controllable)

It will do more damage than Controller/Dominator; however have a lower mez mag.

lol... Then give them a pocket knife?
  13. How about a Buff/Debuff primary with the Dominator Assault secondary? The Dominator Assault has a nice mix of range and melee attacks.
  14. I normally pick up Placate at lvl 49 if I can squeeze it in because it does not require heavy slotting. It is not needed, but can help out when in a pinch.

  17. Q.Really?
    A.Yes

    Q. You want to give Stalkers a shield that badly, you'd go with the idea that, you're attacking people from the shadows with a shield?
    A. Yes

    Q. Do you just try to hit the on the head really hard for the Assassin Pummel?
    A. I picture more of an uppercut with the Shield.

    Q. Also since it would be made available to Scrappers will we beable to dual wield shields?
    A. No
  18. I really want to play a shield stalker, but the concept of shields do not work with stalkers defense concept. Would this be a bad idea if stalkers had Shield melee? I bet the idea has been mentioned before; however I could not find it. Listed below is my Shield Melee for stalkers.

    1. Shield Jab - Melee, Minor DMG, Foe -To-Hit (Smash), Foe Disorient (A quick jab with your shield to the ribs of your foe will leave your target gasping for air and in the process reducing their to hit for a couple attacks.)

    2. Shield Block - Melee, Moderate DMG (Smash), Self+DEF (You can use your shield to parry incoming melee attacks. The attack itself does moderate damage, but every successful hit will increase your defense against melee and lethal attacks for a short while.)

    3. Shield Smash - Ranged (Cone), Moderate DMG, Foe -To-Hit (Smash), Foe Knockback (Using your shield, you can smash it to the ground, quaking the earth itself. Shield Smash unleashes a cone of earth debris that clouds your targets vision and lowers your targets to-hit for a short time.)

    4. Assassin Strike - Melee, Special DMG (Smash), Combo Builder (A signature Stalker attack. This attack does moderate damage on its own as a frontal attack. However, if it is executed while you are hidden, this attack will do tremendous smashing damage, as you waylay your unsuspecting foe.)

    5. Build Up - Self, +Dmg, +To Hit

    6. Placate - Ranged, Foe Placate, Self Stealth/Hide (Allow you to trick a foe to no longer attack you. A Successful Placate will also hide you. This Hide is very brief, and offers no Defense bonus, but it will allow you to deliver a Critical Hit or an Assassins Strike. However, if you attack a Placated Foe, he will be able to attack you back.)

    7. Shield Toss - Ranged, High DMG (Energy), Knockdown, Foe –DMG (Throwing your shield over a short distance. Shield Toss deals high damage and can possibly knock down your foe.)

    8. Shield Charge - PBAoE, Superior DMG (Smash), Foe Knockdown, Self Teleport (You can throw all of your might behind your shield and charge through ranks of foes in the blink of an eye. Using this power allows you to teleport to a selected area to deal significant smashing damage to all foes in a long cone in front of you; most foes that are struck by your Shield Charge will be knocked down.)

    9. Shield Blow - Melee, Extreme DMG, -DEF (All) (Smash), Foe Hold, Knockup (You can perform a Shield Blow on your opponent. This punch with your shield does Superior damage and has a great chance of disorienting your target and lowers their defense.)

The build cost about 25 billion. I was really interested in it, so I worked hard for a long time and copied it.

What a major disappointment. I dont last 60 seconds in an S/L farm. Im sure there is nothing wrong with the build. So my question is, if there are any other DP/MM farmers here...

    What is your attack chain?

What are the tips that make this work?
I am new to the DP/MM/Ice blaster and I can solo a +2/+8 without vengeance. My attack chain is Concentration + Drain Psyche + Hail of Bullets + Psychic Shockwave +
Psychic Scream + Empty Clips + Bullet Rain. The reason I do Bullet Rain last is because it does do a KB and will spread out the mob, but once they stand back up they come right back to me.

I am an old school farmer from back in the day and I am still used to adjusting myself to the angle where I can hit the most enemies by my cone attacks while in a group. I also have a macro that will automatically combine three insp to an insp I need for the mission. I also buy the med pack recipes so I will always have a heal handy.
  20. Empathy... My playstyle is to aggressive to be standing in the background buffing.

  22. I hit lvl 50 on my DP/MM/Ice Mastery Blaster last week and it is by far my favorite blaster. I just hit soft cap on S/L defense and do not hesitate to enter in melee range. I even tested it with a +2/+8 S/L mission and dominated it solo. Some people do not like the animations, but for me it is awesome.

I also have a Archery/Dev/elec Blaster and he is a lot of fun.

I wish there was a SG for Weapon only Blaster/Corruptors/Defenders because I will so be there with a Raygun or Rifle Blaster as my next toon to lvl up.

They just need to give villains access and missions to the hero's hazard zones and make them open world pvp. You will be lowered to the max level of each zone. For example you must be level 5 to enter the Hollows; however if you are higher than level 15 you will be exempt/malefactor the the max mission level of the zone. Villains get more mission content with the new zones and we get more PvP. Then they should make a PvP zone transport system.

    Hazard Zones
    The Hollows - lvl 5-15
    Perez Park - lvl 7-14
    Boomtown - lvl 11-19
    The Tunnels - lvl 12-15
    Striga Isle - lvl 20-29
    Crey's Folly - lvl 31-39
    Eden - lvl 31-39
    Shadow Shard - 40-44
    *Dark Astoria - lvl 50-54

Will it happen? I am pretty sure the answer is no.
  24. Ever since I rolled an Arachnos Soldier I played him as a bane or Huntsman and never wanted to play a crab because I was not a fan of the leg backpack. When Incarnates came out I wanted to get the pets for more damage and decided to respec into a crab build until I am maxed out on incarnates. Well long story short, I freaking love my crab and having the ability to have 8 spider pets at one time is amazing! The only weakness I can think of with a crab is the players and how they enhance the toon. With the build being very tight, I think it is easy to over look something.
