The OP wanted information and was fed disinformation instead. And then was treated to a fine show of op/ed regarding everyone else's favorite servers. Informed consent? Not a chance!
Let the guy pick a server. If it doesn't fit what he and his family want? There are more to choose from. This whole "You don't need to know the truth" and "RAH RAH my server RAH!" stuff is for the birds -
Sometimes I imagine that NCSoft pays the Paragon Studios marketing department in lemons
and that their orders from Corporate simply read: "Shut those bloody devs up!"

I don't know exactly what's giving you trouble Sam. Basically the slide uses the energy of that expanding gas from the cartridge to move back. There's a port in the slide that allows the empty cartridge to be ejected. A spring automatically pushes the slide forward, which allows a fresh cartridge to be chambered by a spring in the clip itself.
Pull trigger. Gas pushes bullet out and slide backwards. Spring ejects spent cartridge. Another spring pushes slide forward. Spring in clip pushes new cartridge into chamber. Repeat...

Played last night on Freedom, 7pm til midnight, and was on a full team of eight 90% of the time.
Did the /search thing too in Steel Canyon and the list showed 98 players. Truncated
No time in the D, just running missions in Steel Canyon and Talos Island -

You're going to convince each other that the Devs will allow you to keep your bases and all your stuff if you fully cross over, and when they don't, you'll wail and scream. Stop setting yourselves up for failure. Stop setting the Devs up for failure. And stop talking about this like it's a real possibility. It has a 0.001% chance of happening. -
