  1. So what do we have to do to get back on Champion? I've been trying for 30 minutes and nothing. I think the devs hate us for some reason, or the other servers are jealous so they want to lock us out for double xp.
  2. The server list doesn't necessarily mean how many people logged into that server, it is the server latency.

So basically if on Freedom people are just standing in Atlas as usual and on Champion everyone happened to be loading at the same time, Champion would most likely appear higher on the list because of the strain of the loads.

Or at least that's how it was explained to me...

But Champion is always in the 4th spot for me when ever I go to another server.

No offense War Admiral, but both your builds seem a little whacked to me, why only 1 slot in Fulcrum Shift? And where is the +Recharge?

Mine is Fire/Kin/Psy, has perma Indomitable Will and Hasten, chops the recharge of accolades from 25 minutes down to only 5, and touches maximum recharge frequently.

The proc in Psionic Tornado is pretty much a guaranteed to go off every mob and lasts for 6 seconds and Psy Tornado is back up in 4.

Because after playing my kin for such a long time, I've found that's really all thats needed in FS if you have a decent amount of global ACC and RECH. It stacks...and it doesnt take that much to cap your dmg so having more RECH than needed is a waste. I've found that around 80% global does great.

In the /fire build, I dont have the +RECH proc. In the /stone build, its in fissure slotted first where it should be.

Without additional buffs, you do not have perma hasten. You need 105% global for that. But with the FF proc and siphon speed, you do....as do I. I dont find going way over the amount needed an extra bonus but rather wastefull.

My /Stone build is untouchable. I walk around soft capped on smash/lethal and now with EE, I also maintain max HP.

There are some holes in the /fire build, but its not that bad. I played it for months and months and never felt like I was missing on much of anything. Unfortunantly, the +RECH proc cant go in that build.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Ahh I see, the reason I make sure I have so much recharge is for two reasons. One for keeping perma Indomitable will up, with 4-5 Siphon Speeds stacked and reason two to keep the other ATs capped with FS while teaming, if a brute happens to get on my ITF, I want to keep them at 800%.

  5. Count me in, I have a partner in mind, I'll check back with you to see if I'm going to be soloing or will be doing this in a duo.
  6. I can't stand King's Row, Independence Port or Boomtown and The Hollows are getting old...

I'd agree with King's but there is something about it stopping me from saying is stinks.

Oh and I don't really like any zone but St. Martial villains side, just too grim and dim, doom and gloom.

  9. Before i15 you were able to AE literally anywhere, even TFs, but I guess they didn't like that? They should make it so you can at least do it in bases.
  10. So you never wonder what something is selling for when away from a WW/BM? Or..?

I'm pretty sure thanks to farming and how easy it would be to just get recipes and store them in WW to keep on going with a portable WW/BM interface, that we won't be seeing it.
  11. I had this thought just bit ago and discussed it a little and people seemed to like it... So here goes nothin'...

A Wentworth's Sales Representative for heroes to call and not actually use, but just to view the Wentworths market and track their sales and bids. You can not place bids, sales or take off sales or bids. But you could take the latest sales on the items you're trying to sell/buy to see if you should head to a Wentworths to lower or increase your selling price/bidding price.

For Villains we would call this the Black Market Broker, both would be a contact that you call by phone and you get a Wentworths/Black Market interface that pops up. Only difference is you can not place bids or sales, you can only view them.

Now I know a lot of people want a portable Wentworths, but likely it's not going to happen in my opinion. I have no problem traveling to a Wentworth's or Black Market, in fact most the time I keep a teleporter on me at all times. This would just mean I wouldn't be making a trip just to see what an item sells for.

I know there is the Consignment House channel that tells you if an item has sold or been bought but that is primitive to what I'm asking.

    Any thoughts?

Or maybe... you have a better excuse to team-wipe that team of AE noobs that keeps blind inviting you. When they freak out, tell them you're working on a research paper.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well nothing can solo level 54s bosses efficiently so obvious that you'd need a team for them.

But if you bring it down to lvl 50 bosses my fire/kin can go at about the same rate as the other 7 members, as long as one of them isn't a kin. And if you go back to the old PI farms he can smoke the other 7 members.

  19. Well for one, Champion doesn't approve of farming. (Well we all farm, just no one admits to it, hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil) So good luck with that, please don't bring this into our forums or the BMT Channel though.

Second, your team make up is whack, you don't need more than 1 fire/kin on a team, most ATs max at 300% damage, which you can get from 1 FS.

Third, the Devs don't approve of AE farming (people do it anyways), but when I mean don't approve, I mean they call it exploitive for the most part. They have been handing out temp bans left and right for it, and been suspending AE Noobs' 50s until they can prove they didn't exploit for the 50.

To be fair, a lot of other MMOs are basically a mad dash to the end-game... gotta level up to the cap quick so you can get to the good content, kit yourself out with the good gear, see the good stuff.

New players may not realize that CoH spreads out the good stuff instead of loading up the back end. They're just trying to get through the slow, boring, grindy stuff they assume is the only alternative, so they can play the end-game that they assume is where the fun really is.

Not that I'm justifying the behavior, just offering up a possible explanation.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Oh, of course, it's not the newbie's fault, it's the jaded vet's fault for encouraging that behaviour rather than dissuading it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yup I love nothing better than standing in Atlas Park telling those new people to farm because it is fun. Only reason I still pay my subscription fee, I just love this feature of the game. I sit on my Fire/Kin and tell them it is the only way to get all the good stuff.

    Yup...

All of us vet players' faults... That's all we do...

(Honestly I think farming is the most boring aspect of the game, no matter if it is on a lowbie or a farming toon. But farming has to be done to keep up the market, if farming dies, so does the market. I believe power leveling has more of an impact though on a new player, taking a new player and getting them levels with 0 work is even worse. I do have a Fire/Kin, he does have all that good stuff, I do farm frequently, but I do NOT tell others to farm when they ask me "how do I level faster?")
  24. Well now my Fire/Psy will just collect dust until I can figure out if I'm going to delete him or not and my Plant/Fire has gone down on damage out put, slower recharge and now sits at a constant empty blue bar.
