I told my mother that same thing, but added that while he wasn't really a celebrity we saw commercials with him shouting about a product a dozen times a day (or so it seems) and he is practically a household name because of that.

I feel sorry for his family, but is it wrong to hope those commercials are pulled? So annoying to be yelled at while trying to watch tv.
