Not usually in the position. I play on all of the servers, and switch toons often. Usually the most populated run Freedom, Virtue, and then a mix of Infinity, Justice and Liberty. Last week Champion was most often in one of the two lowest population spots when I switched. Time of day can make all the difference though.
Champion is always at the top for me.

Is it good? I'm not so sure..
The server list doesn't necessarily mean how many people logged into that server, it is the server latency.
So basically if on Freedom people are just standing in Atlas as usual and on Champion everyone happened to be loading at the same time, Champion would most likely appear higher on the list because of the strain of the loads.
Or at least that's how it was explained to me...
But Champion is always in the 4th spot for me when ever I go to another server.

Actually, they're sorted by server load, from lowest to highest. This doesn't necessarily have to do with population, but population does affect it (more people logged on, the more the server has to work). Champion seems to shift more than others, during our peak times we'll be at 4th (sometimes even 3rd, but rarely) and sometimes we'll be 2 or 3 from the lowest.

Just did a log in today and I accidently hit Freedom. Then I hit back and saw something strange. Freedom was at the top because I just clicked it, then it was Virtue, Infinity, CHAMPION, lame server, lame server, lame server. Was champion always number 4? Have we grown bigger than other servers?
