pertty darn good build but you need all the accos for gettign close to hp cap. the dmg boost and recharge are really nice. Your movement is a lil less than others will probably have You might consider micros in ss and sj rather than than the blessings.

yah they would have to make it 100% tp res to be worth anything. I know folks with both procs (def and res) and still get droned.

at 50 yeah it's sucky because you have to work in a phase to survive or team with really good healers who have phase lol. @ 30 in SC (on a50 build) I have fun with my storm/rad def. Tactics are not so necessary when it is more stalkers there and your hurricane destealths..I worked in aid self and since you can proc out rad blasts it can be effective.
but tbh it is the hardest if my hero toons to play. -
mind therm is fun ... confuse, and the three mains thorw in tk or the fear..to hit is not such an issue if you build your atks for acc and get leadership - with primal epic you get powerboost so your to hit will get a boost too with tactics on.
ice cold is bad ***...try having mage on you with no recharge lol.. -
it used to....I have not kept up on any proc changes. Basically on my ts I have three hamis and the rest procs, with build up a lucky crit and procs it rapes.

spawn camping, base buffs, broken procs, rule abuse, venge stacking, pre-venge.. The policing came in a majority rules after PVPEC left as the rule maker. I remember the inital ladder matches and a certain SG called OS cheap for running two storms and two sonics and then turned around and ran two sonics for most of their run. When everyone was running two sonics it pretty much boiled down to who could cage the emps first...and matches were boring again. First time we showed up on test with Psi blasters instead of fire I remember one sg leader lost his cool. I always respected dUmb and PCJL for their storm teams and sticking to it
1v1 2v2 sure limit ats...but 5v5 to 8v8 - bring the team you think will win.
There were no rules in the 5 man team ladder limiting stalkers (even after the tourney where Renegades ran a draw) A 5 shark spike would have been interesting..wish i would have thought of it lol. -
Code:drops fitness with accos you have 1575 hp with accos, and with ra, geas and conserve power you can manage your end. Numina proc slotted in ab since you will use that every 90 secs and numina lasts 120.

it depends what you build for if you want team buffing you really only slot your ranged atks to build hp. Hibernate is not necessary if you take phase. Once you get good at evasion as long as you prove harder to kill than the other targets they don't go after you a lot.

I think that is the next thing to get changed. Proof positive the devs don't really care about pvp - the rewards system is geared towards i4 lol.
truth be told there was a time when it was worth something - Strength of Wills, before they scewed mez, were going for 250K a pop on the market and you could farm a tray full in sc in not very much time. -
which I understand happened a lot. I forgot we had dr off lol....still even when we started using dr on ts off hd off no one was shark spiking :P

umm yeah bib does less dmg than ice blast ....so um... yeah.

actually we never used shark spikes . the anim was too long and with two emps on a team you could heal through it ( and this was pre nerf nerf). When we did the initial tourney Silit's group ran all stalkers .. I thought they would try a 5 man shark but it never happened.

Spec god bless him drove the new ladder but it was still a min max issue. It came down to who could do the hold as spike best. Infamous and Gun tried to do different teams to win but could never really get any other viable team to work. It got to a point where some teams would not scrim because it was so lopsided. (15-0 etc...). And this was 5v5. I have done a few 8v8 KB's on freedom. They can be a lot of fun when even but they are rarely even.
Once people realized the 5v5's were all the same teams..they lost interest and people left for aion or champions...I think the only team left to fight were PE, DOA and Renegades and then Most of Renegades got perma banned..
if people want to start new ladder fights I'm down..I can probably get a team together but as far as running stuff or being sg leader again..I think those days are loooooong over. -
KO Blow on a mm is epic.
Thermal or Poison depends on your style of play. Poison hold is lol now. Powerboosted self heals in thermal are extra nice, you just have to spawn and buff a lot of pets... -
last I heard Mac, scourge and crits (scrappers) were unresisted?

depends what you want to do - team or solo will guide your build but HE is manditory, you will want leadership so lev epic for hibernate.

I am going to make a ta corr...villz needed ta bad. MM is not the best compliment to TA as a TA has to move a lot and that put you out of bg mode. I would say a rad ta would be better just because you can proc out the atks much more with rad.

I like the GR idea but I think we should flip the suggestion. Logic tells us that they are not going to make changes that inherantly will not make them money. Here is what I propose.
GR is an additional purchase, like COV was at launch an supposidly a whole new world accessable to heroes and villians. If Praetorian Earth includes pvp zones (lets hope) why not have I12 ish rules there? That would be a huge selling point to attract the old pvpers who left. I don't think it would be hard to do as we can get pretty close to i12 in arena with toggles. They could market the expansion with "NEW PVP MECHANICS"..trust me I know a lot of people who would come back to this game and pay 14.99 a month again if they had an option like that. They could limit it to the GR world only. That would boost sales to current subscribers as well. I know I would buy GR if that were included. I am sure a lot of subscribers are going to buy it regardless but if you want to capture your lost revenue, give them a reason to buy and continue to pay. -
The worse possible thing they could do is balance ats. There should be high dmg ats, high control ats, healers, buffers and debuffers. Once they make everything the same it's pretty much I hit you...you hit me...I hit you...you hit me.
Beyond DR, TS and HD the things they did that ruin pvp are..
Mez duration - give it back plz. Hold should hold, Immobs should immob and not just for 1 sec...you want melee toons viable for pvp? give them back thier mez protection...make BF's a tool again..k thx
Unresisted Dmg - uhh yeah you took it away from all the hero ats but scrappers who crit at 25% of the time, yet scourge dmg is unresisted, stalker crits are unresisted..give some unresisted dmg back to the hero side.
Debuffs on defenders should be unresisted - Rad em is lol now...give it back to defenders..make them viable again.
fix fury in pvp pls...you can break 1000 things from i12 to 16 and not ever fix fury?? come on,
restore speed boost and IR as unsupressed movement buffs..make kins worth playing again in team pvp.
remove supression from all other player buffs...make it so an emp or pain dom, thermal etc does not become target #1 when trying to be a team player. -
While the ideas are good, I doubt coh will impliment a system form their old developer. Probably a lot of legal problems there...and if you look at what goes on in bb,sc, wb and rv -there is pve content there with rewards. I have gotten purple drops from npcs in RV, you get an in game nuke from BB, shivan in game pets for pvp or pve, inf and xp - av's even show up in RV from both sides.
They tried the whole reducing dmg thing by giving squishies high to capped resistance. They had to change it because pvp became low to almost no defeats. -
all depends on how you build your toon - and what level you pvp at...powerboosted stuns and holds still do well. I agree containment needs changed since it is reliant on a state of being held or immobilized....and they pretty much screwed that..

I have a mind thermal we used in renegades when we did a mixed ladder. It does pretty well in zones as well - HE is always a beotch..problem is the rooting the heal and thaw do. The three primaries are good dmg dealers and powerboosted holds are always good.

Fire Psi is harder - a much better farmer than pvp dom build these days but max is 100% correct. You want + hp +dmg and perception. You also want hibernate and a resistance sheild - the def sheilds in epic are poo poo. Concentrate on your single target holds and the stun, flashfire..with dom up you can stun for longer (since you have no pboost). Also concentrate your dmg on your ranged atks. Since holds only hold for a short time now a dom and melee range is a bad mix.

phase or hiber get one..you'll need it in rv. Remeber 99% of blasters are em so boost range...
xx/pain doms are good because of scourge and procs and the self buffs on dmg and healing... fire is harder because not as many dmg procs for ranged (unless you have access to a lot of gladiator Jav CFT...
