I would prefer if they were static and could choose from existing NPCs (minus the legendary ones, i.e., Miss Liberty, etc). It would make it easier to implement.
  2. /signed, but it'd probably be easier using new art than making them completely customizable using the in game editor. Especially if you intend to have them moving around a base, and not just contained in a mission file. THAT was one of the hurdles that forced them to push AE from i13 to i14.

    This.

I actually expect the devs to do this eventually. Currently they are probably datamining the difficult and how long it takes to complete arcs.

That way they can adjust the merit rewards and THEN place in a difficulty slider.

LoTGs were always in the 200 M+ range, didn't matter the level. So that's a good thing.
  5. Me thinks they forgot to adjust the rewards BEFORE moving stuff LIVE.

    Oh I should have explained.

I meant that RP really doesn't matter, since you can RP the powers to be for any purpose.

EDIT: Was taking that statement for MY OWN purposes.

This. It better be a SOLO-able arc.

    Hence:

The RP argument doesn't hold much water

EDIT: I would be FINE with them adding Heroic PPPs. To balance out both sides. Other than that the current situation is fine as is.
  9. While everyone is mostly 1-20ing it away in Prae, it's gonna be a while before folks are high enough to start wanting IOs again.

There really is no fun in making fanbois look silly. They were there first and usually do a much better job than anyone else can. I mean look in this thread you have people posting pictures of one days load to say "LOOK WE HAVE POPULATION THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS". You can't mock that more than it mocks itself.

As to the rest I'd really rather not see city of heroes go. It has a few features that I really enjoy, excellent movement , the world as a three space that really works for me, no invisible walls that make no sense and destroy any sense of immersion you might have had. It's more than a little annoying to see the game perpetually amplify its weaknesses and play down its strengths. Some of that seems to stem from fitting the game play to the analysis tools they have handy.
Funny, I haven't noticed any pvp buffs lately.

Saw THAT coming. Luckily I spread my toons over multiple servers during the LAST server transfer. MUAHAHHAAH.
  12. As long as it doesn't take time/resources/people away from other things and is optional, fine.

Right, except for the part where Ransim forgets to mention that the trails are barely if ever run.

I would put it more like stupendously, sooooooooo low on the priority list, that's it near china.

    /unsigned to the OP's suggestion.

    This.
  17. I like it.

Now let's see how they handle this Batman, Inc. business.

Not that it really matters, but it doesn't seem right to dis a guy for something he's not responsible for, since he genuinely seems to always want to do the right thing.
Yes but a while back he mentioned that he was FINE with the drop rate on pvp IOs, and since I13 pvp is generally recognized as his baby, he DOES have a RATHER LARGE bit of control over that aspect of the game.

And for many either option is better than actually pvping (lol) for the completely random (with god aweful-I-don't-know-what-the-hell-Castle-was-thinking drop rate) drop.

    So... Stalkers.

While I know they're somewhat specialized in their role and designed to be more team friendly, that's kinda what we want and need for stalkers. They just aren't team friendly, and there is really no reason to not take a Brute/Scrapper over them at any given time.
I don't know how you could really make them team friendly aside from either giving them buffs or AOE. Two options that I don't think are all that realistic.

I think the more realistic suggestions are things that move them away from being like other ATs.

This doesn't concern me. Especially not since we already know you'll need GR to experience the Incarnate systems.
