I made a hero with this concept named Not a Rikti Spy

Radiation/Psy defender modeled to look like a Chief Mesmerist. Was always at zone invasions encouraging everyone to surrender to the rikti, was caught stealing DNA from random heroes and generally earned the mistrust of every cape.

Having an AT to do the same thing again? Heck ya!

I've been having fun with ally ambushes. It's quite a new feeling to see that ambush dialogue and then get a small group of ally clockwork at your side. The only problem is they don't zero in on the you or the marker that spawns them so they occasionally stop short and just stand around.

Another fun trick is to make battles with one side outweighing the other on a small map then adding ally release or other non-required objectives in the same front, back or middle position. On tiny maps the battle will overwhelm one side and complete the objective for you. This is a fun way to make an unguarded follow ally appear among ally NPC's.

Psy shockwave is really the best thing about /psy. The supernerf in place is on the scale of the Invince nerf way, way back. It takes a good, fun set and removes the lynchpin to let the rest of the set fall apart.

The only other good thing about Psy was the fast attack chain in the first few powers, each one has had its recharge almost doubled in the new changes.

A 20% damage buff means nothing when you have to wait 20% more to use your powers. It means DPS stays the same as before and the T9 is moved back to a T3 or so.

I wish I could test this but the test patcher is borked for a lot of people, including me.

I feel ya, Doll. If this was on my main I'd be very sad. Since my Dom is my main villain I'm still disappointed in it. That being said, the changes aren't live yet so there is a chance(slim) that they will be rebalanced to something more fair.

Proof that the rikti have no limit to their evil.
