What vet badge was your premium account at before Freedom? If it was at 6mo, then that is why Greek Symbols are preselected: it had them before Freedom. If it was at less than 6mo, then I have no idea why Greek Symbols were preselected and you should file a petition or PM Zwilly to get an answer.

Doublecheck your mnu file that it doesn't accidentally have a .txt trailing filetype. (e.g. earthtime.mnu.txt) This is probably the most common reason why mnu doesn't work.
Alternately, popmenu requires being in the "\data\texts\{language}\Menus\" subfolder, are you storing it properly? -
I'm not saying this to be mean or to nitpick or anything like that. I am simply honestly amused that the first help forum you saw on the list was the SECOND help forum on the list, meaning you skipped a help forum called Technical Issues when looking for assistance on your technical issue.
(Don't worry, it happens all the time. I think my first question was a gameplay bug that I posted here and was directed over to tech issues.)

Quote:Yes, of course. Going Rogue, THE BOX, includes all of those. What you are purchasing on the Paragon Market is not the box, it is the digital bits and pieces from the box.I've used that many, many times. But that, I would argue, disagrees with you entirely. It clearly says:
"City of Heroes Going Rogue which includes:- Four Power Sets (Dual Pistols, Demon Summoning, Kinetic Melee, Electric Control)
- The Going Rogue Alignment System
- Access to the world of Praetoria and all of its zones"

Even I'm starting to get tired of all the maintenance without any real redname acknowledgment. (Zwill saying, essentially, "Maintenance happens" [highly paraphrased] doesn't count.) I certainly wouldn't be averse to getting a day or two compensation. (Yes, I know, they don't have to. I'm not saying they have to. I'm saying they would be nice to.) Even though I'm from the US, I frequently play at odd times and this interrupts me more often than not. It's unfortunately to be expected occasionally, but half of the last two weeks has seen maintenance during my normal morning play window.

Quote:Couldn't find anything? Were you looking at, like, contact pages or something?!Anyone got a link of the Recipe Icons?
Like Absolute Amazement, and Blessing of the Zephyr, etc. etc.
I couldn't find any on the paragonwikiBecause the set icons are all over the inventions pages.

Quote:(note: all percentages listed are based off of Schedule A enhancements)HO = Hamidon Origin - super mega enhancements you get from completing the Hamidon Raid. About 50% better than SOs, and give more than just one type of buff (i.e., Acc/Dmg).
Note that Hamis aren't 50% better than SOs. They are the same percentages as SOs (33% at even level); they are basically two or three SOs in one enhancement. Triple-HOs are better than any set piece if a power can use all three enhancement values: that's 99% total enhancement value in one slot. Dual-HOs are still better than most set pieces, as that's 66% in one slot (basically equal to a purple dual-mod).
Though with Enhancement Boosters now able to +5 IOs, dual- and tri-mod set pieces are giving HOs a run for their money, and purple dual- and tri-mod pieces out-perform. -
That's in addition to natural storage increase while leveling and bonus storage through badges.
Everything related to Inventions requires the Inventions fee (salvage, recipes, crafting, slotting, using). If they don't have the Inventions fee, they don't get these features, therefore they don't need to do anything with them. If they do have the Inventions fee but not the Auction fee, they have to sell directly to players or just vendor them. (You get the Auction reward unlock before the Inventions reward unlock so there is no oddity with that one.) -
Ooooh. That's why I didn't see a difference. I don't have an autofire on most of my chars, and this was one of them.
-
Correct. You can right-click-dismiss buffs now.
However, the OP isn't talking about that. After testing in game, AFAICT there is no difference between canceling a power and unqueuing it. It results in the same thing: the next power is no longer queued (bound first cancel to SHIFT+P and unqueue to SHIFT+P, they did the same thing). -
It's right there between Quote and Quick Reply. It's pretty awesome.

Hyperstrike, I'm just wondering, do you know what the Multi-Quote option of this forum is? It's used so that you can reply to multiple posts within one reply. It's used so that you don't spam a thread with individual replies to single posts. It's used so that you don't have to waste so much time loading pages when you could just go down the page clicking a button, then replying to all of them at once. :/

Heck, they alloted 12 hours today and used only 9. Then they said they'd have to take the servers down for a short period (I'm forgetting), and then ended up not needing to do so. That's two wins today!
What this means is that they are getting smarter about allotting time for errors. They're padding their downtime properly. Previously they weren't padding their downtime properly.
I would much rather be told downtime would be 3 hours and have it back in 2 (early!), than be told downtime would be "between one and two hours" and have it back in 2 (just squeaking under the wire there). I would much rather be told 5 hours and have it back in 3 (early!), than be told 2 hours and have it back in 3 (late). -
Like I said before, you should have *12*. 10 for past sub time, 1 for having an account, and 1 for owning one or more box codes.
edit: Additionally, the variable number of tokens based on previous subscription time is then described in the "Converting from Veteran Rewards" section. -
I just want to point out that it is pretty darn likely that the folks over in Korea keep a VERY close eye on any expenditures by the US wing of their company (and not just because it's the law). And rest assured, Paragon Studios does not decide whether we get compensated or not, that is the money-holders in the US NCsoft, who are overseen and overruled by the money-holders in the Korean NCsoft.

1. Correct.
2. In character creator AFAIK. I've seen people in the tutorial with Celestial pieces on.
3. Correct. They are permanently unlocked. -
Subbing the month when Freedom went live (which is this month, September) doesn't make a difference. All accounts, active or inactive, were treated exactly the same way.
You should have 10 for past sub time, plus 1 for having an account, plus 1 for having one or more retail codes applied to your account (1 token max, not 1 per box code). -
Celestial pieces are unlocked account wide, just like any other non-ingame-activity.
-
No, pre-i21 rewards are based off of Veteran Rewards badges. More info:
http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Paragon_Rewards_Program
http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Reward_Token -
You get 2 for completing the arc, outside of the reward window. If you choose the Reward Merit reward, you get 5 more. If you choose the Reward Merit x4 reward, you get 20 more.
Though it seems that villainside is broken and doesn't award the 2 outside the reward window. -
The servers are locked to most past accounts. They are trickle-method allowing more and more inactive accounts access. Currently, only VIP accounts and *some* non-VIP accounts can access the game.

Quote:You mean like this one? Where they said on 9/19 level pacts would be turned off on 9/20?Then today, I get a patch, log in and discover you've disabled the feature PRIOR to the end of the VIP Head Start period and WITHOUT WARNING that you were doing so. Even a simple "Hey, Level Pacting ends tomorrow!" would have been nice.
Granted, yes, they *DID* say level pacts would last until after the head start has ended, which it hasn't. But they *did* give notice, which you seem to be under the impression that they did not. -
*cough cough* Wendy, once again, you're reading too much into things and taking things far beyond what the OP intends.
The OP would like to donate to the Rebuilding Galaxy City Foundation, or a similar concept with a different name. This is called an inf sink. It really is that simple.
