I have no idea. -
Quote:(removed unnecessary text resizing)WARNING!
Trench coats and Magic borelo are no longer listed in the talior options for the female body!
You can load a costume with a trench just fine and after you do so they are listed but if you have a costume with out a trench or borelo they aren't listed on the upper body options.
Can every one look over the tailor for any thing else that's missing please.
Also this was on a toon that was already ingame IDK about creating new toons.
How the hell did they break the tailor with a bloody stability patch?
You weren't, incidentally, wearing any back items? Wings, steampack, etc.? -
They've said you don't lose access to anything you've already unlocked, including respecs, character slots, etc.
I think that kind of means we won't lose access to anything we've already unlocked.
I'm not sure how to read it any other way. o.o; -
Right click City of Heroes in the uninstalled list and select Install Game. When it asks where to put it, select your installation on your external hard drive. It'll parse through your installation and update what needs updating (there was a patch this morning), and you'll be good to go.

This is my sadface! *makes sad face*

My fiance cannot access the promotions page to get his emote. It keeps timing out. I have his window set to automatically refresh once a minute and it has been running for about two hours with the Facebook page loading fine, immediately, each time and the promotional page (fb.cityofheroes.com/gobbledegook) timing out every single time.
If someone could get a code and PM it to me for him, I would be very appreciative and so would he. -
I did not get any pre-patch. I just got today's patch with map optimizations. (I don't have Aion installed.)

http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Paragon_Rewards
Good overview with some examples for calculating your current Paragon Rewards level.
You can pre-pay a bunch of subscription time and get all of your Paragon Rewards tokens up-front. You can buy a bunch of Paragon Points and get some Paragon Points (1 for every 1200 PP). You must fill out a tier of rewards before moving on to the next tier (cannot skip rewards you're uninterested in).
Just for clarity: you don't have to have a sub to accrue Paragon Rewards. Premium Players (folks who have ever spent money on City of Heroes - previous subscription, box sets, PP purchase, etc.) also gain tokens. It's unclear whether TRULY FREE players (folks who have never spent a dime on City of Heroes - these can only exist after Freedom goes live) gain tokens beyond the first one. -
Much better. States and Babs still kinda look constipated, but it's a better go at it.
-
VIP = subscribing (doesn't matter how you pay your sub). Premium = have ever given money to City of Heroes/NCsoft, but not currently subscribing. Free = have NEVER given money to City of Heroes/NCsoft, EVER.

You'll find build mumbo jumbo in the archetype forums, mostly. Next block of forums down from Player Help.

Quote:Like this?... of course that also requires someone to extract the current file from the game data.

Quote:One of the devs (Positron I think) already said the new Paragon Rewards uses a separate system than the current veteran rewards system and is not subject to the same bugs and errors. I don't see any reason (other than it's silly) to shudder about a shorter billing cycle. Well, also other than it's likely to be MORE expensive instead of a straight cut down fraction lines. (The less time you buy at a time, the more expensive it is to do so.)The game already tends to get messed up when trying to reconcile 1 month billing cycle and the counting of rewards (which is part of why I think they decided to rewrite the billing interface and open the P-Store). I shudder to think what would happen when you introduce .3 of a billing cycle into the equation.

Yes there is, by creating a keypress/key release bind.
Code:Now, you might have to switch the CC and POWEXEC commands around to get them in the proper order. I'm pretty sure this is correct though. Keypress will execute Combustion. Release the key when you want the costume to change./bind KEYNAME "+$$powexecname Combustion$$cc #"

Quote:Again. We've been told by the devs that it's not in use.Hmm... Something may be a bit screwy with that.
BAFing last night, my Sonic defender managed to pull Siege's attention away from two tanks and a couple of brutes just by casting her shields on the melee people. (I was behind him at the time. He actually turned away from FCM's brute and the tank who was taunting him to directly attack Keph. It wasn't one of his AoEs that got her.)
He also seemed to still have that aggro after I hit the hospital and returned. He killed Keph again as soon as I got in range... I didn't even have time to buff or attack... Just *land* - *turn* - SMACK! - *dead again*. -
My take on Azuria. (She has to have blue. She is Azuria (AZURE-ia), after all.) She is a non-powered or retired-hero city employee, at work at her city job, and thus with wardrobe restrictions. No hippie sandals here, sorry Johnny.
I also stunted her legs. The human body is approximately one-third torso and two-thirds leg (ignoring neck/head). The way she is currently (on Live) proportioned, she is one-quarter torso and three-quarters leg, and she looks ridiculous. In fact, most females out there in-game, both NPC and PC, are equally ridiculously leggy, and it kind of mangles my immersion when I see it. -
Quote:There was a thread already about some magazine, wherein it was revealed that CoT pieces were coming. I'm attempting to find the thread now.No new annoucements?
Then, what's CoT? Circle of Thorns tights?
I don't recall this being announced previously. Anyone?

Quote:And here we see how perception is completely biased.Oh, also... don't know that it costs a lot of endurance. It does cost more than a tiny amount, but in many cases, my SD/SS Tank is okay with it on during combat (if I feel like forgoing the defense from Combat Jump during those battles).
Do you think Sprint is expensive to run? You've seen all the tons and tons of posts warning newbies not to run Sprint in-combat because it is expensive.
Well, Beast Run costs almost TWICE AS MUCH endurance per second than Sprint to run. Just FYI.
Beast Run costs .23 per tick (two ticks per second) to run. Sprint costs .15 per tick (two ticks per second). -
Yes, it's true. Fly has been capped out-of-the-box since Issue 18.

1. You can't attack yourself, but if you have a non-targeting power you can activate it at any time. So you can use a non-targeting power (PBAOE most of the time, or ground-click powers) as a pseudo costume change.
2. Only in demo edit.
3. Beast Run puts your character into an animalistic crouch, and you run on all fours, but it costs a LOT of endurance to run and it cannot be enhanced. -
Try using @Global_Name_Here <-- underscores. I'm heading to bed with a splitting, eyeball-melting headache or I'd pop into game to try it myself. I know there was a time when some folks were having trouble sending global mails and that was one temporary solution.

Quote:Most of this list happens every year for the anniversary events. So, let's be honest. We all want to know what goes on at ComicCon, or PAX. But not everyone can get there. Every year, thousands upon thousands of City of Heroes players are forced to watch from the sidelines as the lucky few who can afford to travel, or who are fortunate enough to live near a major convention get to grab new information first hand!
Well, I propose we change that.
Ladies and Gentlemen... City of Heroes has an amazing community team to go with an amazing community.
So, I figured... let's bring the convention to us!
If HeroCon is too cost prohibitive in the real world, why don't we bring it to the virtual one?
Thus...
HeroCon Online!
The world's first MMO based Comic Book Convention (That We Know Of).
The concept is simple, really. Take some of the awesome community stuff we do currently, and condense it into THE MOST EPIC EVENT PARAGON CITY HAS EVER SEEN!
Some example events.
[stuff stuff stuff stuff]
The gist of the suggestion is to take the spirit of HeroCon, a celebration of all things City of Heroes, and to turn it into the biggest, most awesome In Game Event ever seen.
Standard Code, Time, and Money rants apply. But... cool, yes? -
My first 50 took 200ish hours. My ex (who played on my account) took about 100 hours for his 50 (which is now mine). My second 50 (third on my account) took about 300 hours, but mostly because I spent a LOT of time exemplared, playing with friends. My third 50 (fourth on account) took about 25 hours, but the VAST majority of my levels were "surprise! gift level!" from a level pact with a friend who plays a LOT more than I do.
