VIP = subscribing (doesn't matter how you pay your sub). Premium = have ever given money to City of Heroes/NCsoft, but not currently subscribing. Free = have NEVER given money to City of Heroes/NCsoft, EVER.

it seems cool...how in the wide world of sports do you know whether or not you are on vip status? free is easy to figure...but i play by pre-paid time cards...and how will my current status and character count be affected? i read what i've can so far but i'm still a little foggy on some of the details...
