Incredible work here. Thank you devs. I have not liked a game this much since Decent3. Gonna be a while before I like one that much I'm sure.
Castle, I still swear we have the same music collection, loved the sigs back then.
Good luck Paragon folks. -
This is partly why I quit playing SWTOR. The smuggler tray thing drove me crazy, and you couldn't fly, and I hate looting, and you can't fly...
I don't mind it they tray itself, however since it appeared, it seems like I can't keep anything docked, between load screens.
I would like to disable it, if possible. -
Quote:Same here.I'm surprised you feel this way. My build usually runs +2/x4 on live and on Beta Test and my i21 update he can run +4/x8 fairly easily (except for psi damage of course). Perma Light form in forms really makes Nova form tankable Ran an Dr. Khan TF and tanked Reichman in Nova haha so awesome!
I am still adjusting to the LF timing. Other than that, I'm loving this change. I felt the mez protection was too low, but so far it has not been an issue.
Now if only I could use the taunt while in nova.
Leadership while shifted would be too much to ask? -

I won't use my rock powers.
It took 4 years for me to drop one. No lie. -

Save it for the finishing move... I watched too much pro-wrestling when I was young. Nobody cares if you knock them away dead. I often get complements about my knockback, but you have to do a lot of Kenny Rogers.

Quote:I'm wondering how many I have lost playing in dwarf/nova forms. What's new eh?With needing to wear a Halloween cotume to get the new Tip, I've realized a drawback with the realism of the game - although it is realistic that men are more likely than women to join gangs, become mad scientists or summon dark gods, it does mean that there are very few suitable Halloween costumes for girls to wear

Quote:I'm am jazzed to play the "Beer Hunter" mission. She tried to get a War Witch TF in once. It involved Hockey, Molson Golden and something called the "Golden Toque." The main bad guy was some guy named MacKenzie. It was all very strange.
Ok, maybe not, but I thought it was funny. Grats once again to everyone involved! -

Quote:Damn... I've been found out.I finally got a situation with some regular results, I'm going to pursue it a bit. My 50s were all coming up zip (solo brute, solo troller, 6-person LGTF with a def), but there had been that one mission on my brute that showed regular drop rates. It was from an old contact that had been open.
A friend on his PB did some epic tanking on the LGTF, so I pulled out my dusty L27 peacebringer and ran two Sunstorm missions solo. No changes to the diff settings, this guy hasn't done anything in I16. He killerates very slowly, so I don't have a huge amount of data, but for 70 minion equivalents he got 4 recipes and 2 salvage. Quite the ratio. (I should emphasize that this is not a large enough sample to go anywhere with yet, but it is enough to give me a glimmer of hope.)
My hunch/guess/suspicion is that it has something to do with the toon/mission interaction. I believe it shows up in streetsweeping as well, altho I haven't confirmed that myself, so maybe something kind of persistent for a particular toon? Be interesting to figure out if one bad toon can bork an entire team?
[EDIT: I should also add, another of my hunch/guess/suspicions is that it doesn't have to do with the values you've selected in the SRSLY settings, exactly. I suspect if you got a mission/toon setup with regular drop rates and you adjusted your settings you would continue to get the same rates you had been. Just a guess, and I've no way to test it yet.]
Those are just idle questions, and those situation are all more complicated. The best test case is the simplest one where you can repeat it. If my PB continues to show good drop rates I'll pack up the info and send it off. Here's hoping.

On a brighter side.
You wouldn't be from MN would you? -

What's an iPod? *Still listen to 8 Track.*
[/ QUOTE ]
My first car, that I drove to high school in the early 90s, was a 1978 Mercury Grand Marquis and it had a functioning 8 track player. It was later given to one of my uncles who turned it into a shrimp boat (the car, not the 8 track player.) I've always assumed he did this by simply attaching some nets to it, since it was already fairly boat-like.
Some may wonder..."BABs! What the heck are you posting this for, here in the Guardian forums?"
The answer is, cause some of the people over in Justice are getting all cocky about the number of viewers their section has right now, and I'm proving a point that maybe that has more to do with a link to their section through the dev digest than how awesome Justice is. Don't get me wrong...Justice is awesome. But all the servers are awesome in their own way.
"But BABs...why change the title of the subject line?"
Cause I really want to prove the point. *waves to all the people looking for details about the expansion*
"But BABs...that's cheating!"
Yes.

Haha my first car was a 1981 Mercury Grand Marquis. Man those cars were boats. Ah back when gas was under a dollar, and that car could suck gas through the carborator like no bodies business. But driving it really was like riding in a boat, we always joked that it had at least a 8 body trunk if you stacked them...
Mine didn't even have a tape deck, it just had the old FM/AM radio tuner with the big silver knobs. It had originally been my grandfathers. So it smelled like stale pabst blue ribbon and unfiltered pall malls.
It also leaked oil and transmission fluid...
Funnily enough its still up and around back home and on its third high school student. Albeit with a new engine.
I kinda miss that car.

'79 T-Bird, We called it the "The Thunder Chicken."
A friend wrecked it, but in the process left a 798 foot skid mark. Measured it myself.
