Hold tight, as long as you have the initial petition before the 5th and are eligable for T9 rewards by then you should be good. I just got an e-mail from the staff saying that it's been unlocked for me. They must have had a lot of people that had waited to get it and didn't make it in time.

Has a success story getting the armor via /petition? I got the e-mail saying it was going away on the 5th and seeing how I wanted it for one of the characters on my alt account I logged in, went VIP and then bought $200 worth of paragon points to get the needed tokens for tier 9 VIP rewards. Thats' when I discovered the armor was removed already and with a little research I found I could still get it via /petition. I put one in, got a reply on the 31st saying it was being escalated higher up. Friday the 1st I got another reply saying they are investigating my issue.
Of sitting here saying to mysely, "my issue? what is there to investigate? I want the armor, I was told I had until the 5th to get it, you removed it early, I want it, so honor it." I just need to hear that someone has had success getting it after it was taken off the rewards list. -
Ok, so my main account has more then enough reward tokens saved up to get the celestial armor today but my problem is, I want it on my second account. That account surely does not have enough, it's only got 20 I believe. Is there a quick way to beable to get the parts? What is it? I really don't know much about the paragon rewards program, to be honest.

I don't like bring up old threads, but thanks! While I'm not color blind, I can't tell the difference between the various shades. I really hate how so many games don't provide support in the character creation areas for us that have color trouble. I usually stick with just blacks and whites and greys because of it, but that gets bland and boring after a while, so thank you for this.

First one:
Want to play one of the characters on my other account. I can log into the game fine, all of my characters are locked and it says I have 5 global tokens I can use. I'm likely going to take the character VIP but can't log into the account on the website (put in a ticket, waiting on a reply). I know when I go VIP I get 12 slots, it's what my main has anyway, but I'm wondering, if I use one of the globals that it says I have, will that mean I'll have 12 other slots opened on that server (13 total)?
Second:
Who's this new guy that States is fighting?
Bonus!:
How do I run both accounts on the same system at the same time? I never had a problem before, but with the new launcher, when I click play now it just goes to the already opened and doesn't load a new session of the game. -
So I was playing my new character and when I was managing the enchancements I noticed that she has the fitness powers already. Did they make it so all characters get those now? What about my characters that I trained the fitness powers too?
-
Went to the Paragon wiki and read up on the newspaper and got one. One thing I couldn't get was how to get the mission that lets me raid atlas. I'll I could gather was that I need to be under level 10... I'm 7 now and really want to hit Atlas.
-
Decided to make a new villian, skipped the tutorial, ran the missions for Kuzman. Now what? My new hero got a new contact when he finished the starting missions but my villian didn't.
-
Got this when I went to modify one of my older characters costume:
"This costume has invalid parts. you may continue to use the costume as is, but if you wish to modify it using the tailor, you will be required to replace any invalid parts."
So... pretty straight forward. Question is, why are some of the parts invalid? Is there a way to know what they are? -
Ah ok, thats a good way to check, even if it's only 90%. There's another game I play, with it's store, where in the costume change it'll show you everything and have a lock next to what you haven't bought yet.
-
So... only one character on my account can get the celestial costume pieces?
-
I think I'll hold off usingthe store until they patch it to know what I already own. Like I said, I don't remember what of those old packs I had bought and don't want to risk buying stuff I already own.
-
Nice to see I'm not the only one concerned about accidently buying something I already own. I don't even know what things I already own, honestly. I know I bought CoH and CoV and CoR. Sense I bought rogues will I always have access to dual pistols and Pretoria and switching sides even if I drop VIP? I should, sense I bought them with CoR.
-
Is there a way to find out what things on the market I already have? I'd played the game for years and years, on and off sense the release. I've bought city of villians, I played when city of rogues came out. I've bought almost all of the packs that were sold in the NCsoft store with the costume packs and the emotes and the costume change actions. I'm seeing all of those things I remember having in the market but it doesn't show that I have them. Masterminds? Do I need to buy if I want to make another mastermind (I already have a few over a couple of servers)? I'd name off some of the costume packs and costume changes I've bought in the past but I don't remember what the were. I'd hate to waste points on buying stuff I should already have. Do I have to buy the rogues pack to do the alignment system or the alternete world pack to go to Pretoria even though I bought rogues when it came out? Same with the duel pistols power set? What ones do I get for free for being a VIP? I know I get the story arc, but it shows up as purchasable even as a VIP! Do I need to buy the option that lets me change my characters build again even though I could do it before when the game wasn't free?
And why isn't one of the things they added a token to change our power sets!? -
Just returned after being out of game for a while. I'm sure I'm going to have lots of questions but this is the first one. How do I move the reward and market buttons? They are in the center of my screen and really, just in the way. I'm already seeing lots of accidential hitting of them.

Quote:There's patrol xp. for every hour a character is logged off you can some credit on your xp bar and will earn 1.5X xp until it wears off.
What's the limit on that? I should mention that while I haven't played in maybe a year my account has been active this whole time.... LOL
It's to bad they don't offer a one time chance as like a 53 month vet reward or something. One of my assault blasters would have fit so much better with duel pistols! Oh-well... -
OOOOOOLLLLLLLLDDDDDD player here. I haven't played in awhile but the new expansion has my interest peaked and I might hop back in. Before I do though, I was wondering if the devs added in a way to change powersets yet. Most of my favorite characters are pretty old, oldest being about 2 months after launch I believe. There's been ALOT of changes done to powersets over the years, there's been new ones added to the old archtypes, and with my pre-order for the new expansion comes a new powerset!
I'd really, really like to change the powers my old blaster has. -

BAB was leading probably only one or two people in looking after animations (he'd need someone else to hold the camera while he swung his sword around - bow wow chicka chicka bow wow! ;-), SexyJay probably had costume design all to himself or as part of a small art team (two or three people).

I've actually been the sole animator and FX artist since Issue 8. So glad to say that's no longer the case XD

So who filmed you with the taped sticks? :P

I'd have never guessed that you were alone sense I8! You definitally are a very talented man, me Brawler sir. -
Just because batman and superman wear alone for the most part doesn't mean they weren't a SG. I had an SG with just one of my characters for awhile and then made more characters and added them into it. SGs can have one person in it.

And let's see, comics examples of less-than-seventy-odd-member Super Groups:
[*] Teen Titans (5 members)[*] The Fantastic Four (well, gee ...)[*] The New Warriors (6 members)[*] The New Mutants (9 core members, IIRC)

And don't forget Superman and Batman, both one strong and had some of the best bases going. I know I know, Robin, but Bruce had the Batcave before he had Robin so Robin don't count.

Speaking of the prestige lowering when in a group. I was helping a Lvl 1 newbie in my SG. He exemplared me down to his level and started his newbie missins... end of the missions I got 250+ prestige each but the most he got at the end was the first one with a whole 10 prestige. Explain that one!
Kyle -
Let me ask people in the large groups 50-75 people this one question? How many of your SG mates do you know? To me, a Super Group is a collection of FRIENDS.. even if they don't like it (Wolverine and Cyclops for instance). I've been in huge guilds in other MMOs, I don't like not knowing more then half the guild and only know them as one because they have the group name under theirs.
Kyle -
Know what you mean, Riot. My main's SG is her and 3 of my alts. All the people I play with on an average basis are already in other SGs. To me the point of a SG is for friends to get togather and play togather, not to have 75 people that don't even know each others names. I avoid bases like the plague during CoV Beta, wanted to be surprized when I had my main build thier base... only to find the only things I could afford were decrative... They all go around in SG mode all the time and have put away a whole 160k ish so I hope we can trade in large group bases for smaller group bases.

Selling salvage would be nice, my scrapper has collected tons of it... I just wonder where she stores it all! LOL

Thank you so much States! Not just for the good news but for giving us an offical post on this! You're still my favorite hero!
