Yeah and unfortunately the command is *character based* not *account based*. So, every time you start a new toon check all your options.
-
Pretty much my entire COH career, was that case. I could depend on looking at a 50 and seeing a player who actually had played the game. In times past the exceptions to that were extremely rare.

With the tongues? Hellions?
>_>
No, they're definitely COT.

Ok. I can't imagine why I was thinking cov hellions had them.

The Hellions WISH they had them. -
lol I only have a hero side Star Wars character, based on my old, old old fanfic persona Karen Kenobi. She's a ... mind/kin? I think? Something that's ridiculously slow. I think I'd rather have taken grav on her somewhere, to simulate her powers better.

I love Circle of thorns, for a variety of reasons not the least of which is easy xp and lots of arcane drops Now - I'm talking hero side. Villain side they have those horrible other creatures with the tongues, don't they? wth is that lol.
While I understand what you're trying to put across, I don't think it's really necessary. A Natural origin and good choices of powers can emulate a police type, pretty easily. -
Having chatted a bit with the good Dr here, I can say, bad pugs affect everyone
Seriously, it'd be nice if a requirement to use the AE was perhaps a 3 month badge, or a certain amount of hours actually played on one character/combined over several, to at least get the hang of the GAME. -
Like I said, if you have GOOD teams who have done Lusca before, and a leader willing to give commands, it can be done with maybe 14 people (I've done it). But if you've got a pack of newcomers, or people who don't like taking orders, or cannot take the hint when the tentacles come up a certain way... It can be a disaster.
It's excellent training for running any given large scale raid, Rikti or Hami, because of that. It's like herding cats, until someone finally gets it in their head "oh, the tank needs us to just attack THEIR tentacle!" ... dur. But some folks just don't know that.
I'd love it if Lusca gave either more xp, better merits, or SOMETHING, because as she is now, she's pretty lame for such a wild ride requiring many people. I've never, ever seen Eo and Jack take nearly as long as Lusca, though I've also seen Eo and Jack go down to one full team. -
Lusca definitely should have more merits - the length of time that a typical group of people (2 - 3 teams or 1-2 if you're really good at it) takes to do this giant monster in, is pretty long. It takes a lot of work, concentration and teamwork.
I think of all the giant monsters we've got, Lusca DESERVES to have more merits. -
Those dang cops in Kings Row keep kill stealing my Circle of Thorns. Screw them.
-
My guess is yes, since the giant monsters are able to spawn in their zone at any time.

I have a total of ONE toon with all 5 of the anniversary badges on him, and sadly he's a sucky spines scrapper. :/ He's level 8. with all 5 anniversary badges ... lol.

And even though he is a lowly level 8 sucky spines scrapper, he can laugh, dance around, and waive his collection of 5 anniversary badges in the faces of your other characters.

lol yup, that he does, and that he would do, too, though not in a mean-spirited way. -
I'm pretty sure the phrase "no promises" comes to mind here Even if someone said that, which I don't recall either - only to a degree and not specifically worded that way - everything is subject to change up to and past the live date anyway. As we've seen, even when beta goes smoothly there are always things that crop up in live that they couldn't have anticipated without a much larger player base. I never hold my breath on things the devs say, and am pleasantly surprised when we get *anything* cool, be it new enhancements, proliferation, new sets, or whatever else.
-
I don't get them for badging, I get them because I was here for the 5th anniversary.

I do not consider it to be any more of a parody than any of the radio missions containing 'mock' supermans and spidermans and their attendant girlfriends.
The names are not the same, the clever use of the background sets are brilliant, it gives enough of an idea to make you chuckle but otherwise has nothing in it that Asimov would roll over in his grave about.
As I told you when I played it earlier, Fantastic Voyage was my very first science fiction book ever read. I still have the dog-eared copy of it in my bookshelf. I thought that it was respectful and fun.
Also, the patch notes =/= the eula.
Also also, don't you guys think that Niv or someone would have put a stop to it if they read it and said, "gosh that's against our policy"...? Instead, she posts the poster... hmmmm. -
I had only the weekend to log in all my expired-account characters... Most were padding for supergroups, but they all are properly named and have real backgrounds anyway. So yeah, 3 accounts in what 4 days, there, and the rest of my 110 toons on my active account over the next couple weeks. It's a ritual I go through whenever there is a timed badge that you don't have to do anything but show up for.

The primary and secondary sets are the two things that make up the character.
One is usually offense, the other defense, depending on the archetype. You cannot re-choose OTHER sets, even for a 2nd build. A new build only allows you to rechoose in a different order and slot differently those same two sets you start with. -
1 Sounds like a bug. Are you sure that you're removing them from both a global AND a local list?
2 There's three respecs, all of them are reasonably easy to do, find a team, do it
3 I don't use forum colors, they tend to be annoying - remember that some folks are viewing in the red-backgrounded COV bg, while others are blue for hero side. What might look okay in one, might look terrible in the other. -
I think "everything" is a good start
Welcome to the game, you two! -
Heh, nice catch.
I thought there were more techs, at least I remember in beta there were like 3? Weird that now there's only one. -
On Protector there have been plenty of new, unbadged, younguns. I love dumping some influence on them, and using a costume change emote in front of them just in case they hadn't gotten the magic booster yet lol.

I think it's more fun to make a new alt and decide "this time I'll do the Hollows-Faultline-Striga-Croatoa version". Or another that does only normal arcs, avoiding the hazard zones, etc.
