Scrolling in game

You mean scroll with the mouse wheel? If so, there is an option to choose scroll speed that for some reason defaults to 0, so you can't scroll at all. It's under General options, I think, and I think around 80 is about three lines per wheel tick.

If not, then I don't know.

Scroll bars appear or disappear automatically based on if you need them or not. If there's no scroll bar, you don't need it.

If you're trying to use your scrollwheel on your mouse - I can't either. It seems that some mice don't work for that. You can still click the scroll bar to move it around.

Not necessarily. The scroll bar on market windows occasionally disappears on me even when I have a recipe list expanded, and the only way to get it back is to collapse and re-expand the list. All and all a relatively minor UI issue though.

Yeah and unfortunately the command is *character based* not *account based*. So, every time you start a new toon check all your options.

you should be able to save your preferred "default" control set, now.

Open your options window and scroll all the way down. You should have three "Save to Default File" buttons, one for chat setting, one for window settings and one for options. Saving them all creates three default files which will auto-load onto every new character you make, and can be force-loaded onto old characters.

You can also make a default keybindings file that will load onto every new character, but that's best done FROM a new character, so you don't end up with, say, a bind for Fulcrum Shift on every new character you make. This one is under either Controls or Keybindings.

Yeah thank you! I wouldn't put my keybinds on, because I have different emotes I normally use (I only use the mouse for powers though), but this will help a lot. Thanks.

You're quite welcome

I usually use basic keybinds to set V to sprint, Q to map, L to first person view, E to nothing, minus to +showfps and equals to +netgraph, as well as R and F to nothing with Ctrl+W and Ctrl+S to autorun and follow, respectively. It's a pain to do it by hand every time

This makes my head hurt... lol they really, really need to look at future UI improvements which actually standardizes everything.

Chat and Window "Save to Default File" are part of the Options window contents, whereas Options "Save to Default File" is part of the options window interface. Not... That that is an excuse, but that's likely why they're not standardized with each other

I'm aware of that. MY MOUSE'S scroll wheel does not work with CoH.

When I move my GF's mouse to this computer, the scroll wheel works on my computer. When I move my mouse to HER computer, the wheel does NOT work on her computer.

It's the mouse, not the settings.
