Quote:Its been a while since I played, so I don't understand this VIP tier system. You have to pay to advance a tier or will it work like veteran rewards and you can advance a tier every couple of months?Anyone can upgrade their account to Tier 9 VIP and purchase these.
I saw that I gained veteran tokens when I bought $15 in points, but I also noticed that the tokens required increase by tier, so this will be very expensive to go for (only on third tier). What is the ratio of tokens to amount paid?
Even then I'm hesitant to give that much because when I let my subscription expire, I was treated poorly as a customer. Even though I purchase points equal to what I would spend in a subscription. -
Blueside has things going on all the time. Redside... not so much because nobody ever wants to play the bad guy :<
Also ERP is as rampant as its always been. Can't go one day without seeing a female character with maxxed chest clad in the skimpiest costume pieces with a white slime aura parading through Pocket D. -

CS won't do anything They just pointed me to the CS FAQ page and said "Tough luck buddy."
I am in a similar situation right now... Due to some real life events, I did not have the opportunity to log in and maintain my position. Now, the base that I spent a long time building had leadership transferred to the first person to log on after the duration expired. Unfortunately that member happened to be one that rarely ever logged on, maybe once a week or so.
I have been trying to make contact with this person to get lead returned but they do not reply to my emails
To make matters worse, this new leader has done nothing whatsoever, no upkeep paid and SG mode *still* not on. Why sit on a SG and do absolutely nothing with it? We are a small SG, it is only build well because I contributed my own infamy to do so and provide useful items for members. Only one other officer had contributed to helping in construction but he has not been on in some time due to school and work.
I suspect they are not a subscribed account, preventing the payment of upkeep. Which in that case I do not understand why CS would not pass lead to someone who has a subscription...
Lesson learned: I was too kind to offer help to lowbies and to trust members. I may have to start over again. This whole ordeal leaves a sour taste in my mouth. -
Auras and costume pieces I picked up on my main pre-freedom?
Did they take out the ability to earn these for free or is this just a way to unlock the pieces accountwide so you don't have to run every alt or wait next year for a toon you made out of season? -
This is wonderful news! I hope it includes lights and wall items.

What do you guys do when it seems that everything there is to see and do has been seen and done?
I came back in April after a 2 year hiatus (quit because my old server seemed to be barren and it was pretty much just me and my husband running stuff together) transferred to Virtue in hopes of starting fresh and getting into RP but found little for reds. I still found plenty to do in the way of Praetoria, base building, badge hunting and costume creation goodies but those lost their luster too.
Lately, I am wondering why I even log on. How do I regain that spark of excitement?
Maybe its my choice of allignment that has me feeling bummed about the state of the game. Even on a server as huge as Virtue, I find little social interaction redside -
I was burnt out on my other base projects tonight and decided to start up a new base that consists only of the entry room. I made a nice little ramen shop out of it... too bad nobody other than myself will get to enjoy it on a regular basis.
So I got to thinking... what if you could register a base as "open to the public". It could be looked up by name and accessed via a supergroup registrar.
I know I've got a snowball's chance in hell for seeing this implemented but I thought I'd just put it out there. -

The biggest reason the new heads and faces look so bad (in addition to the drag queenish quality of the female ones) is because the rest of the body and %95 of hairstyles are still in the old mapping and they never blend in.
-
I used my free points so its no biggie but had I actually purchased points I would have been annoyed. Buggy pieces, uneven skintones, but we finally got our brain jar!
-
I'm assuming this is a description of blueside. I've never -not- seen loads of people at all hours blueside. Redside on the other hand, is a ghost town until the evening hours (and even then, the action fizzles out early).

Quote:Without the badge and crest it'd make an awesome pith helmet!Couple of bugs with the helmets that I hope will be fixed. Tested on males only.
The hair of both helmets is tinted orange annoyingly, even if you colour them black you still get orange.
Also the visored version is set further back than the first for some reason which makes it clip with a lot more detail 1 items than the non visored version.
Apart from that it's a pretty nifty helmet, just a shame there isn't a version without the badge and crest. -
It looks great but we don't have much for appropriate firefighter attire for it to make much sense in a costume
-
No points here, either. I've sent in a ticket, I wonder what the new excuse is.

I would like the option for a Praetorian to join a supergroup before choosing a side. The prestige bonus would not be applied if they join before choosing an allignment.
Quote:I want the objects from the Tsoo warehouse map and /alakazamreact.I see all the items and patterns on missions that I would so want in my base. I mean it's all just decretive now. So why not let bases get it. Also I think a tailor, auction house and recipe storage would be nice. Even know not everyone enjoys base creation some of the community does and even if they added some stuff each update. Hey why not. -
Is this similar to the lights flickering from custom to default? I've had that happen in another base of mine when editing or using salvage racks but not the quakes.
-
Has the new double doors method been discovered yet, or is it still being kept a secret?
-
Has anyone experienced screen shaking when you place salvage into storage shelves? That seems to be happening in my base and it causes shaking not only for the person using the shelves but any others in the base as well.

Quote:If you have to put ANY money down to receive it then it's not free.
You know and to add to this. Beam Rifle costs 800 points. Two times the 'free' points. You HAVE to buy something you would have gotten 'free' in ANY OTHER ISSUE EVER if you want to use it.
Or you can be patient and wait one more month to get your next free 400 points.
Concerning downtime... I remember a time when they would compensate us in the form of respec and tailor tokens or turning on event mobs. They do still do the event stuff now and then which is nice but I think its because the devs just want to have fun with us not because they're making up for lost gametime. All in all, I'm happy with things, it could be much worse... they could be Blizzard.
Now if they could do something about server wait times... -
Can't say I'd be a hero... I may use my superpowers for good deeds here and there but I'd mostly use them for my own benefit and keep my identity a secret.
-
You can also do this using the cubicles in addition to the wall lights. I'm no good at explanations, but they can help guide the direction of the item you're trying to place.

Whomever paid gets full run of the account. If it was her, you're SOL she has keepsies. If you pay, change your password and if her characters have some sort of ill sentimentality for you, delete them. Its not exactly hard to hit 50 and get decked out in the best enhancements these days anyhow.
Account sharing is against ToS anyway and it was a foolish move, but I see you've already made a decision.
