Basically i have been in your situation before, my first toon was a spines/regen scrapper, i discovered farming and wanted to farm with it, and rule number 1, don't do it. Just roll a fire/kin or elec/shield, or even a ar.mm, or spines/fire or something that isnt regen...lol

Yeah but in this particular case i'm just adding what I like to a fun group of people. Worked out before, just trying to figure out the specifics not the philosophical nature of it.

Yeah, I don't necessarily enjoy solo farming though which is where the issue comes in. I've done this before and met a bunch of great people and eventually we started doing tons of Tfs also. Main reason we broke up was I stopped playing the game and everything fell apart. I just love the speed of farming, and to see things get crushed.

Anyways, I used to run a pretty cool farming SG, had a bunch of cool people that enjoyed farming and pvping quite a bit, and it was probably the best time I have ever had in this game. So here's the thing. I'm thinking about getting a vent server, and jumpstarting my SG. Right now I am the only member. My thing used to be "Join the SG, level a fire/kin, and be a true part of our ranks". This time around, i'm thinking about having everyone make a Burst Damage farmer as opposed to a DoT farmer.

I figured I would have everyone roll an elec/shield scrapper, or a arch/mm blaster. The concept would be, we jump in a group of 53s or 4s x 8 and hit shield charge, then lightning rod, and hopefully there is very little left or nothing...

Before I go and do this, how effective do you guys think these combinations would be on a farming map? i'm talking 8x elec/shields or 8x arch/mm, and I also had some others stuff in mind, just wanna get this sorted.

A good WP Tank will never die to anything in a 1 v 1 situation Soooo much HP and the most forigiving tanker t9, you just lose a bit of endn With i19, a Good tank may never die to anything in a 1 v 1000 situation lol.

1 v 1 arena is easy on a scrapper. Used to play a spines/regen/blaze, now on a ma/regen/lev...shark spam is the *******

As a pvper Rogue opens up more possibilities when building your toons, for instance on your scrap you have the op to go hibernate or shadow meld. And doms can get hoarfrost. dont know if the vills got that with i18 alone, or if u need GR to get hero epics.

Just noticed that KM has a much lower crit chance...AND...CS doesnt crit? is that so?

CS seems to be doing some sort of Critical and/or BU dmg...been wrecking all of my squishies like nothing...

ironically im rolling one and praying for a nerf at the same time. Hits much harder than MA, and when you get hit with CS you are looking like :O ZOMG WTF WAS THAT I GOT ASED 2 TIMES?!..by a scrapper!?!

i've started experimenting with new secondaries based on having hibernate alone. But yeah i can see how a free fitness will make it even easier.

i've seen decent claws scrappers, and like 1 good stalker. But never a brute.

When I first started pvping my first pvp toon was a fire/energy blaster. You will be killed fairly easily but the thing is you should rely on sneak ranged attacks with aim and BU tho blasters damage isnt what it was before the major pvp changes. Another good toon to start on is a regen scrapper or stalker. You will get kills, and be harder to kill, Imo a stalker takes a bit of "know how" tho since it plays differently than any other toon.

Yeah, if it gets a slight "correction" i'm hoping it will still be viable. It's the only melee set with a ranged power that doesn't have redraw.

Yeah, it seems a bit powerful at the moment. At least when you get consecutive strikes on an unsuspecting target when power siphon or w.e is active. Was thinking about rolling a KM/fire scrap but a bit worried that it will get the nerf bat soon. Any thoughts?
