what should I do to make a PVP build I'm up to 40th lvl and have 3 sets on my character so I need help

You can make a mean blaster killer. Just spec for hp primarily, then recharge. Take blaze mastery and you only need impale and barb swipe. Always good to have taunt, so take it. Skip resilience and revive. Get touch or phase, i like tough better because regen has no resistance and will fall easily. If you go redside u wont need phase cause ull have hiber.

If you want to go melee, spines isnt great, but it works, just make sure u spam the hell out of barbswipe. once upon a time i paired that with flurry, but u may be better off pairing with lunge for quicker attacks. Take weapon mastery or body. Get nades and taunt.

Also fit leadership in there. I find that regen scrappers don't need fitness, so once slotted u will be fine without it.


Overall it really depends on ur playstyle, arena, zone, fiteklub?

level it to 50- change sides - do patron arc - get dark blast, moon beam, soul storm and shadow meld - that and mog and you have 4 ranged atks and with regen mog and sm pretty much never going to die..

this is the build ive been running,it is quite unkillable, actually very very very unkillable and the dmg is decent ty to all the prox...and to answer your question i dont have end problems...

no procs in impale? acrobatics? fire ball...im sure ur build would perform well because of all that rech and whatnot but it could perform alot better..like drop fireball for RoF, slotted for dmg and prcced out..and mroe procs in impale
and drop accro for melt armor...my build is not nearly as expensive and performs extremely well

yes, it needs more procs, but this is what I am currently running due to the need for more inf.

A regen NEEDS a high recharge.. and I also believe high HP is required, it raises the regen base for the toon, as DP is not ALWAYS up, even with decent rech. The toon works well for me in zone, the DoT gets me more kills than I thought it would, gotta love gettin the kill well after they retreat into their base....lol

DR hurts everything, but having a lot of recharge before DR still helps.

Positron's i13 letter: We are trying to make PvP more accessible to new players, while giving experienced PvP'ers the advantage that comes with formulating tactics around the new systems we're putting in place. PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.

Hey PC... what about +Regen set bonuses that are achieved through slotting certain sets? Is there a certain percentage that once reached, DR really kicks in?
