Quote:I don't think the devs would like to do this because of possible exploits. I am proposing something where you have to have already travelled to the location.I'd rather see a 5th power pool option listed with Teleport, that when you clicked it...
List of...
All Zones you have access to, possibly broken down into a few smaller areas [ie...IP tailor, IP Magic store, IP Trainer...ect]
All WWs
You Base and Assessable Coalitioned Bases
And the Active Mission
...popped up. You click on the one you want to go to...and BAM! There! That would feel like some Teleporting to me.
Yeah Dimension Door is better -
Unfortunately losing connection is a client end issue and the server doesn't lose contact with the player it just thinks you are standing still. Then when you are logging back in it thinks you are logging in from a new PC and tells you you are already logged in and ends the session.

Yes I was thinking of 2 powers. One would store the position where you are (server side so hackers couldn't get at it) and then another to do the TP-ing. You could not change the location your self unless you travelled to another location and selected it again.
-
I prefer to put them in passive mode and then attack my target when foes where I want them.
-
And I have the power to stop you. This thread is now closed and noone can post in it.
Ha! -
I'm thinking of this as a QoL ability vet reward or booster pack. A player could designate the point they are on a public map as a memory point and TP there in the future if he has it recharged.
I would find this very useful for when I'm teaming and I would like to go to a specific store quickly to buy and sell or even to a trainer during the early levels when we level fast. It can have a long recharge time eg same as mission TP and it has a good limit in the fact that you have to have already travelled there so it could not be abused. -
Ive been on a few. announce on Triumph Watch 2.0 the day before and also an hour or so in advance and designate 3 or 4 team leaders they should fill up. I can bring my 50 dk/dk corr for fear defense.

I hate blind invites too however irl I like to grab people by the hand and say "you coming with me".
-
Surely if you go on any TF as a kin it is expected that you would be prepared to SB everyone.
-
When on a bad team you taunt to save the squishies.
When on a good team you taunt to build fury.
When solo you taunt to stop the runners.
So how useful is it for a brute? -
Good I decided to start over with a invul/axe Tank for ITF and thanks to 2xp he 22 now can't wait to get back at those pesky romans.
-
Hit b twice it moves view to first person then back to "behind the back" 3rd person with view centered.

Everyone stop adding fuel to the fire this whole thread is a waste of space.
Message Ends. -
You are forgetting accuracy too if you hit more often you use less end as well. It is actually a very complicated problem and the randomness thrown in makes it almost impossible to analyze it imho.
I have made a lot of melee toons cause of my bad altoholism but after 4 years I have found (by trial and error) that I last a lot longer in the early levels if I prioritize the smaller attack powers over the larger in terms of slots. I usually put in 1 acc and 1 blue then 3 reds unless I have a real end-hog set like /stone or fire when I put in 3 blues. -
They should put in the info "This power does not need dead ppl and is one of your strongest debuffs in your arsenal."
-
I played a ss/will brute and from rttc on it was real fun. I was tanking huge mobs and felt unstoppable.
Then I did ITF and failed badly, the roman javelins took me out all the time so he is retired now. -
Quote:Because you have Ninja Run there is no longer a need to get haste or tp friend?Ninja Run, however, removes one of the usual tradeoffs of character-building (two power picks vs. the hassle of not having a travel power) and has the potential to significantly change builds as a result.
All this does is allow us to put off a travel power till 20s or 30s when we have freedom of choice and put a few more slots in other powers big deal. It is a cosmetic change for a small price. -
When they generic they generic everything. Since it's there's they can do what they like with it.
I've been generic'd too. I was fine for several months but then I joined a team and kept saying the catchphrases as well, guess someone got irritated.
