Part of the game is building toons.
If building uber toons was very easy, this thread wouldn't exist because there would be little perceived disparity.
Buildings uber toons is a challenge.
I am all for having GM areas and uber TFs and such for uber toons.
I genuinely suspect (though I am not 100% certain cuz I aint no uber programmer) that adding some new mishes is a simpler deal than re-tooling the basic mechanics of the whole game.
Maybe someone who knws more than I will care to chime in on that matter. -
Why should people who spend more time and effort get greater rewards than some schlep who just signed up?
What's up with that?
It'd sure be a winner if the folks who have spent countless hours working on their toons were suddenly reduced to being the same as they were when they 1st signed up.
That would surely encourage resubscriptions if the devs wiped the hard-won benefits veteran players had accrued.

True that, my fave toon is still my EM/WP brute. My aoe comes from 2 shotting everything so basically I AM the aoe. Slow? yes. underpowered? Don't think so, however I wouldn't argue if it got MORE power, lol.
Previously, the dmg mitigation came from killing things really quickly.
Currently ....
WH wouldn't have to do a long stun or even a whole lot of stun. Just enough. say somewhere close to the time it takes mobs to get back up after being knocked down. Doesn't even need to be stackable. -

I have an EM brute who is all purpl'd out. And I have a Stone Melee brute who has some IOs --but no purpl sets. They're both WP and lvl 50. The EM bruite has a full set of accolades as well. The SM brute has only Invader. I can run the stone melee brute on x8 +3 most anywhere. The EM brute can't compare-- he just doesn't have the same survivability even though his numbers are a LOT better.
Additionally, there's the frustrating experience of the EM brute on teams-- throwing TF or ET at s dead enemy cause one of your teamates kills it between the time you press the button and the time the attack actually fires. Lots of ST damage wasted on a corpse.

Being able to filter / sort enhancements in base would be nice

Just a casual poll.
I'd vote for Energy Melee or Dual Blades.
Energy Melee just doesn't seem to have the mitigation to be as useful as some of the other primaries.
But Dual Blades, I suspect, is only UP outside of the "right hands". Idk as I have never really given it a go. -

If you're not soloing AVs and such you could prob'ly be just fine w/o it.

I'd like to be able to solo GMs and AVs. But they're just too gosh darn hard. So I think that perhaps we should make GMs and AVs more like minions -- that way everyone could solo GMs and AVs.
On a second note, as soon as people stop paying bazillions, the market prices will drop.
It's the people who think that the shiny IOs are so valuable who're driving up the market prices.
The people who are helping to reduce the prices are the people who don't try to buy them for bajillions.
Ask yourselves: "Am I a part of the high price problem? Or am I a part of the high price solution?

But, for many powers, you can get decent numbers for acc, dam, etc with a slot or two left over for procs.

Thats the only thing besides windows that has recently updated on my machine iirc. -
I have recently started having issues where the game loses the focus of the machine so that my key presses generat error sounds instead of doing things in game. Clicking on the game screen fixes the problem.
Is this similar to what is being reported? -
As a WP brute, it's important that my mobs stay within arms reach -- it fuels my regen and keeps me alive.
When the mobs get knocked away from me I can't kill them or feed off of them. It's frustrating.
When kb is used to sweep spawns into corners where my AoE and RttC can max on them, it is wonderful. -

I would LOVE to see the ninja run animations available w/o the ninja run power so that I could keep my stats and abilities from SS + Hurdle + CJ. But I want the cool sound effects and the movement animations.
Also I would pay to have a different standing still stance when NR is on. -
Dear BABs et al,
I genuinely love the animations for Ninja Run. Great fun to watch and play.
However, I am only luke warm about the power itself.
What are the odds that the animations and sound effects will one day exist independently from the power and be available separately?
I'd love to have the same moves but with my current combination of powers active.
How does that possibility rank on a scale from snowball-in-hell to the-sun-rising?
And is there anything I can do to help make it so? I mean, for example, if 1000 ppl agreed to pay more for that option, would that be enough to get a green light for the project?
