Because of the change in forum software, certain characters got changed into html speak.

So, the above should be:
for /f "delims=zzz" %%i in (phrases.txt) do (echo space "local %%i$$unselect$$toggle_enemy$$bind_load_file C:\kb\target.txt">target.txt)&&sleep 1&&echo %%i -
Quote:You can teach yourself how to make a small avatar. Or take up male modeling (see 1:45).I played one other game for about 2 months, then I have played CoX since i3 (with a short break). I love it. I love almost everything about it. What will I do when I have to move on?

Quote:People used to wait til Year 7 for these and pay 3 times as much to get them. So... Paragon Studios has made the much more affordable. All very nice stuff, costumes n such. I only really have one major complaint.
[rant on]
WHY advertise this Tier 9 VIP stuff so blatantly when the vast majority of new players CANNOT afford to drop $15 per token to get it?? It's like the worst kind of taunting, imho. I just finished my Tier 8 this month, but I have friends who got into the game much later that would LOVE these sets, but would have to wait 1 or 2 YEARS before they could get them. This, (along with a few other problems) has gotten one of my friends so frustrated that he's likely going to give up on CoH. I'm certain he's not the only one to feel this way, either. I'm not saying they shouldn't let people know about it, but should they really be putting this on the load-in screen??

And they're rewards for customer patronage. "Shop here often and you get better deals than others" is a common marketing tactic to breed brand loyalty.
Nothing "in-your-face" here at all. -
What side do you pick more than others?
The one with the moar explosions.
What play style do you prefer?
Exploding things.
What power set(s) do you favor?
The ones with explosions.
What zones do you like the most?
Mayhems, cause you can explode things moar there.
Do you usually play as a male or female (word of hatred) ''toon''?
Duuude!
Views on Role Playing?
I role-play a munitions expert.
Servers?

If you're at -1.5 Billion Level and someone on your team kills a dude, you go through 1.5 Billion level up animations.
Congratulations!

Recent developments: The Whitehouse is against it, the House won't move on it, and two Senators who were once for it, one of whom was the sponsor, has withdrawn their support.
It's dead. A similar bill died last congressional session. It's pretty darned unlikely it will be attempted again this year. -
The funny thing is that on the male and huge PC models and appearance of a bulge is done with shading because the crotch's geometry is pretty flat. So, whoever made that statue made a conscious decision to use geometry rather than shading for that effect.

I'd love to see a situation comedy based on the highjinx of the Contaminated.

Quote:He just unlocked, it, too. Shame.Nice video, I love these developer diary type things for video games.
One thing though...
At around 0:56... since when does Statesman have the Void Judgement?
I imagine it was probably one of the PS team playing the character and happened to have that one slotted, but why was it in the video? I can't imagine that's canon. -
For those who didn't follow the debate when the CoL pieces were in Beta:
1. These pieces were made for the CoL NPCs with the specific intention to be able to use them on PCs, as is the policy stated about 2 years ago.
2. The only new pieces were the masks and sashes for females and the weapons (which are for male or female). The men in the CoL got re-colored Legacy Chain pieces and other bits already available in the costume creator.
3. So why so female-centric when the Devs said they'd make things more equitable? Because these pieces were in the pipeline before that decision was made (they were made for First Ward). New costume pieces take months to make, and the schedule of the artists is tight (making stuff for Issue release, e.g.). New sets coming up: Fire & Ice, Elemental Order, Imperial China will have that gender equity.
4. So why can't the male CoL be ported over to PCs? Because they physically can't. These are pieces originally made for NPCs and there is no way to 'port' them over in a way that works for clipping and scaling issues. NPC pieces have different geometries and different nodal hooks and different areas in which they mix and match. So, they would have to be re-created from scratch, which takes several months time. -

Quote:The whole works of new stuff:What is the name of the Gift Burst CCE from the Winter Pack, for use in chatbox activation? I know to activate a CCE it's /cce [costumenumber] cc[CCEName], but our brutally evil devs can't just make a CCE's commandname the same as it's name in the Costume window. I looked on the paragonwiki, and have been asking in globals/helpchannel since the pack launched, but still have no answer.
I know it isn't put in the Market because of "character limitations", but that is a REALLY stupid problem. They made the paragonmarket, they should fix it . The devs could at least make their selling-name their activation name, I also had to ask/guess the firework and present emotes(I heard they were added to quickchat, but mine is customized, and no longer receives their updates).
New Years Pack
/cce # CCConfettiThrow
/e fireworkrocket
/e fireworkbloom
/e fireworksparkle
Holiday Pack
/e offergift
/e receivegift
/e ThrowSnowflakes (aka Snowflakes)
/cce # CCGiftBurst
Related, already in game:
/e ThrowSnowflakes (aka Snowflakes) [purchasable from the Candy Creeper with Candy Canes]
/e ThrowConfetti (aka /e confetti) [from the Wedding Pack]
/e OpenGift [from the Party Pack]
/cce # CCFireworks [Empyrean Merit purchase]
And, of course, it's in PargonWiki, too. -

Quote:Are you kidding? That's his *thing*!Second: The old "Walk into a ritual" trick? Really? Come on States, how long have you been alive again? (before this >_> )

Since people will ask, they are, in order:
Jessica Megan Duncan/Miss Liberty, Stefan Richter/Lord Recluse, Monica Richter Cole.
Monica is the one seen for a split second in the latest Vidoc and Ultimus totally called it.
A demorecord confirms that those are the models. -
Quote:1. It was purposely spoiled by the Devs. Many stories are about the death of a character which presumes the reader knows the death is coming. Whether one likes it or not is another story.Just finished it Blueside.
I still dont think he should have been killed, even less that some GENIUS told the forums about it weeks back.
Also, it is nice we get it a bit early.
BUT..States is still in IP, on the boat? WTF devs? he is dead..but still in game? Great work. At least contacts like Mister Midnight vanish after death. But states is still there? Maybe after the servers come down it will remove him? If not..consider me very unimpressed.
2. Removing States from everywhere in the game will take a while, but it will be done. -

I've been lobbying the Devs for Souvenir Badges (which you have plenty of now):
Collecting Souvenirs
- 10 - Token: You have collected 10 souvenirs as a token of your adventures.
- 50 - Memorabiliast: You have collected 50 souvenirs to keep alive the memories of your exploits.
- 100 - Taken: You have taken 100 souvenirs for your growing collection.
- 150 - Keepsake: You have collected 150 souvenirs that you can touch and hold and think back to those special achievements.
- 200 - Unforgettable: You have collected 200 souvenirs as a physical history so that generations to come will remember you. Time to think about which museum to bequeath these to...
- 250 - Souvenir Hound: You have collected 250 souvenirs. You can't help wonder if this isn't some sort of compulsion...
- 300 - The Complete Experience: Your collection of 300 souvenirs shows that you're the type of person who wants to experience all that life has to offer.
Then, on top of that, give out 100 Merits for each badge (that's about an extra 2 Merits per arc). -
I've reached Supergod status, so, I'm not going to get involved in the affairs of you subimmortals.

Powers team is on record that they would love to fill out Pools, like fire or electricity for all ATs. Problem is time. They're certainly not going to hold up a new major powerset or filling out the attacks of new foes for new issues to work on Pools. Priorities.

I was on one of my alts in the Reactor and I actually used the line, "I'm Zombie Man from the forums and I assure you it's a myth." And they backed off.
Posting has its privileges. -
Because if you're not the first person on the scene, your use of Incandescence will be an annoyance to everyone already there leading the IDF from the terminal.
If I were league leader, I'd tell you, "You can only use it if you're the first one there."
