That's a thought. To make Electic Armour slightly less gimp, They could have Hide replace Lightning Field, but also have Lightning Clap replace either Grounded, Conserve Power, or Power Sink.
Then AS replaces Lightning Clap in Electric Melee, all other powers are unchanged.

I doubt that would even fix elec armour, it needs significant rebalancing for stalks because as a direct port and having no mitigation outside of resistence that caps at 75% it has the dubious distinction of being the one AT and set that survives more incoming damage by using rest in front of mobs as opposed to using sheilds. If Invuln was ported over it would still cap at 75% but have additional mitigation in invince and dull pain. Elec armour was the worst choice stalkers could get due to mitigation type and stalkers eeny weeny HPs, elec would have been a significantly better set for scrappers and tanks.

There is nothing wrong with elec! even for stalkers and i have no idea why you would wanna replace grounded
as for both conserve energy and powersink... if your only /elec and not elec/elec then i can see why you wouldent want both but with elec attacks powersink to finish off enemies end it will be quiet safe in melee only problem is you will have to use 3 slots in every shield (which i generally do till i IO at 50) no heal even in tier 9 is abit of a wounder but not the end of the world brutes live without it -
No no no but you see Lighting rod is a possibility.. especially if the set dont get any other AoEs (lets face it there are some) look at Psi its final move is UBER! due to its lack within the set any way you look at it i think elec will be fun secondary for doms... and earth/stone will be nasty but look out for earth/ice defence debuffs and slows (ooow momma!)

Definetly Pre ED herding entire chambers in eden trail and getting blasters to nuke was fun and hard (DE were tougher in teh olden days)

i dont really get how you can be almost forced.. your either forced or you aint.. and my 50s villain side have 3 different travel powers... fly, TP, SS. how was i forced to take them?
I am SOOO sick of hearing ppl say EA is broken.. HOW IS IT BROKEN? my EA/SS brute can easily wade in to a invince 5 man mission and kill all in sight you obviously dont know how to choose powers and slot them (the stealth REALLY does help take it!)
dunno whats wrong with elec melee (except the bug with the move that bounces of players)
i understand your PoV on Patron powers but i think they are fine... the reason they are like they are is because villain ATs are so much more powerful than hero ATs. you can solo with ANY villain at in any power combination but some hero AT/power combos simply are unsoloable
with 1 level 50 MM and 1 level 40 (ish) MM i know the problems with pet AI... its not that big a deal (worst prob is bruiser standing lobbing rocks or DoT making the pets run 15 miles away)
Stalker... this is another moan i am sick of i dont PvP with my stalker (it has fly and no invis pools at all).. i have no problem with servivability... i done MoRSF easily (well for what it is)
as for giving doms elec attacks... this is good! the ability to hold and drain your enemies whilst simutaneously draining its end is Uber....

tho in general terms the meaning of this is correct... i think the way you word this is void... Altho your char obviously belongs to an AT (duh) you dont play the whole range of choices in your AT so its true any AT can beat any AT but not true that any powerset can beat any powerset
and some powersets cann obviously beat alot more powersets than others
i am not the biggest fan of PvP but i simply dont see this powerset prolif being the end of PvP... infact seeing doms getting a good PvP set (elec) and couple of ATs getting storm ... there will be more Vills PvPing with a wider range

For a Dark/Dark, both your primary and secondary will be debuffing ToHit. In the case of Darkest Night it's 18.75% unenhanced as listed here.

Personally i dont see the point in making a 50 build without using IO sets especially when high profile players like yourself will obviously slotting them out for purples and other sets when you hit...
imo your choice is to take your powers as you need until level 50 or build your char to your final build (ie getting slots when you need um and such)
but seems thats the build you put down i'll comment on this build...
assult for a defender altho adds the most does nothing in this set... take a few sets that do +dam and will much improve it
hasten in this set is not particually needed most powers natually charge before they run out or are toggles this will only help alot with lightning storm,o2 boost,freezing rain, blackstar and life drain. slot could be alot better used elswhere like taking dark pit so you can stun bosses (with staking from thunderclap)

pointless having darkblast if you dont slot it... i know your forced to use it but atleast put it to some use
snowstorm does not need 3 end redux especially on teams

2 end reds on hurricane imo
atleast 1 immob in ten tents will make it better at keeping enemies grouped (untill you want storm to throw them around atleast)
i would prefer to have perma lightning cloud so recharge would def be in order
would prefer to have 2 accs and 2 heals and 2 recharges in life drain increase the chance of heal even if it does reduce the amount.. and if you PBU before life drain its really good anyway plus you get more acc
2 accs in total focus i would get conserv energy last as it needs less slots
but this all my oppinion it might not be your taste
get rid of assault and hasten (in this current build i dont see the logic) and get tornado and dark pit -

but i disagree on the taunt at level 10, imo you should take it and get the rest of your shields ASAP even if it means missing stamina untill level 24 (taunt takes no endurance to use) as long as you hold aggro you are doing your job (and you stay alive) ice/stone tank has CE icicles and taunt and keeps all aggro team mates hardly ever get hit which is main priority tanks can be built for damage but i would recomend waiting til 33+ to start slotting attacks (prob 34 seems you'll need 33 to slot teir 9 power) -

The only case the controller would need BF's imho is versus MA or maybe spines in case he has no CJ or a fear pool or a DM scrapper.The scrapper is at a disadvantage against a controller most times.Even with full tray of bf's

i done this you can quiet easily run a base with the secure transporter room (the one that fits 4 transporters in) and the rest of the base requirements without ever leaving smallest plot

i dont know what you mean by this. and i dont know why globey keeps quoting and saying nothing. but let me clarify if you think i was complaining about PvP insps i was NOT
i'll explain using a scenario
a regen scrapper (infact any scrapper) vs an ill/kin troller (i have an ill/kin but never fought a regen in arena this has NOT happened to me)
a regen scrapper with break frees vs an illusion troller will simply never be held never have much damage taken off him (except when decoys are out but with instant healing its not gunna kill him) this makes the scrapper pretty much invincible and any primary for scrappers can take out the troller
illusion troller will need to take bfs too but will have to pop alot more. but all the red inps under the sun would not increase damage enough to take out said scrapper the only thing the troller can do is stay alive easily done i admit (as long as bfs dont run out)
this is what i mean by balanced bfs pretty much render trollers primary usless (untill they have ran out of BFs) and with no damage in troller secondary i think trollers come off bad... (not saying rad or bubbles wouldent change things alot but not everyone PvPs with the bestest best AT/powersets -
Insps imo are ok in zonal PvP but i personally think they are unbalanced in 1 vs 1 arena that said i in now way expect you not to pop an insp if i hold you bit silly really and if a level 50 scrapper cant take a MM theres summat wrong anyway

shannon this char is already level 50 and retired so i wanted to do summat with him.... i had the choice between this char my invun/mace tank (no) and my ninja/dark miasma MM. my MM has no cash and my troller has ....enough :P
Edit; or should i just give up on this char being PvP and wait for either my EM/nin stalker or SS/EA brute to hit 50 (47/27 respectivly) -
i know most ppl think i need ss and sj but i just dont know where i would fit them in. i am aware too that alot of numbers there pass the ED diminishing line but all constructive critisizim is welcomed
