... No it's not... I run a triform, and it's VERY doable. She kicks major bottom too!

I don't slot the human toggle shields as I never can be bothered to turn them on anyway. Tri-form is the way to go to me and I say to me because we don't all play the same way or compensate against the same expectations. I want to blast heavy over time (nova) then pull out nasty aoes over time (human). Have either of them double buffed by both mires (so need dwarf) and then use dwarf for when my active defense isn't enough, mezz protection is preferred and the team has someone to tank. When you respec you can slot the alien forms up sooner which saves spending slots unwishingly. No character is good at everything at any given time and this is no different and I went Tank or AoE. Fun for me though is the Tank AT and AoE.

If you look at the top of the page, you will find the word "SEARCH". I suggest you try it. WSs are difficult, if you can't use search, you won't be able to play one.

I would go duo or human for your first one or until you get use to playing them, making a tri form can be tricky as getting the slotting right is hard, have alook in the player guides section on these forums im sure there will be a guide to WS there .

How do you get used to them if you don't take all three forms?
Not to mention if I was going duo form I'd go squid-lobster...

this guide is what I used originally, although I've heavily IOed since then.

Agree, I would pick up the forms when they become available, and just see if you like them or not. If you like them, slot them, if you don't, respec.

I found the nova form made me nauseous, so I avoid it for that reason only.

I don't know why you *wouldn't* go Tri-Form with a WS .

I spose if you want something that is only 1/2 good .

ok is it worth it to take human shields?

Posted

Not really, unless there is nothing better to take, or are planing on focusing on human form (which would be an unusual choice for a WS).

Without reliable mez protection they simply get detoggled to often to be all that useful.

Unusual yes but a lot of fun. What is does is teach you to adjust your playstyle according to the other ATs in the team.
Yes you get detoggled a lot with some mobs - I tend to find crey of all things are the worst for this with their ice attacks, however once you get Eclipse your toggles are much less vital and the mezzes don't tend to last long. Get a couple of trollers on the team and you shouldn't get mezzed all that often with the majority of mobs.

Mind of Gaia lvl 50 Defiant's first Mind/Storm 'troller.
Deadly Doc 50 Dark/Dark Corr
and lots more on Pinnacle,Union and Defiant

Play. If you find yourself running out of end frequently, then pick up Stamina.

Hey all could someone plz post a good build and i mean a GOOD! build couse ive read tons of guides on warshades and there all way deferant im realy confused on what to take :/ im going for ti form i think

They are all different, because they reflect different people's play styles. There is no "correct" WS build. The only way to find out is to try things and see what works for you and what doesn't.

If by "GOOD!", you mean "a build that will make me uber", there isn't one. WSs can be powerful, but it requires considerable player skill to achieve, whatever your build.

Inky Aspect is more a defensive, Orbiting Debt more an offensive power. It depends which kind of a WS you're going to make. Both assume you're spending time in Human Form and in Melee.

In fact, they support each other, so they might both be worth taking. Pretty much depends what you want.

Both powers are bordering on the "do not take" for some people but for me Inky Aspect has its uses. I had Orbiting Death once and rather than put up with "tickle when it can" I am much more in favour of the Boom. Now unless your pretty much going human form with a great amount of slots on offer to make human form good and have someone offering mezz protection for keeping whatever amount of toggles up (perhaps 5 of them) I doubt I'd be convinced its worth taking. Like I said Inky Aspect really works for me and for me it doesn't seem to need more than one slot (acc) which just saves on slots don't it. Standing still I think orbiting death will only tickle whats outside of Inky Aspect.

But orbiting death looks so cool...

You could take it (don't slot it) just to stand around looking flash when not in combat. Keldians have more power choices than they can really use anyway.
